Great Traction!!!
I live on a an acre that is 1/10 flat and 9/10 hill. And I’m not talking about a gently sloping manicured hill, I’m talking about an Appalachian beast of a hill filled with crooks and crevices, bumps and holes, rocks and trees and more slope that the my tractor manufacturer recommends. But hey, it has to be cut and I can’t afford a 4WD tractor. So after getting to the bottom of my property on my new tractor and not being able to get back up, I started researching tire chains. Boy, am I glad I bought the TerraGrips. They flat out work and tamed my beast like we were cutting a golf course. They were easy to install and I am happy as I can be. I don’t know how they work on snow, that’s not what I bought them for. But if they will push my mower up and through my property, they should work for anyone.

Works better than expected
Honestly better than I expected. I used chains on my lawn tractors prior to buying these, but I was tired of leaving spin marks all over the concrete driveway when snowblowing and hoped this would be an improvement on that, and I would settle for a bit less traction. However, they actually performed better than the chains I had on and I went up and down my driveway, which has a somewhat steep incline, with no problems, and better than my chains. The tires were 20x8 and the tractor is an Ariens 22 HP with an older (heavy) Bercomac snowblower on the front, which caused for some issues as the front of the tractor was often heavier than the back, even with me on it (I weigh 260 pounds). I added 25 pound wheel weights as well, but that doesn't explain how much better the traction is - I still have traction issues on pure ice (as I did with chains), but in snow it works great and I could not ask for more. I live in New Brunswick, in Canada, and we have lots of snow and through 3 major storms of more than a foot of snow each time I've had no issues at all, just be sure to make the fit as tight as possible - I did not deflate and then inflate the tires as some suggest, but I did put bungee cords across the face of tire to tighten it as much as possible, 2 cords per tire.

Perfect fit!
These rubber tire chains are great if you want winter traction for your tires. They hold up well and are made with quality. This is my second set. The first set I let go with the last tractor with a different tire size. If the instructions are followed correctly they do not fall off and are snug against the tire. There is a very specific way to put these on that's very simple. If they fall off, they are installed incorrectly. I've used these for about 5 years and they never have fell off the tire. A must have.

Wow, these chains have my attention!
I purchased these to replace the OEM chains that I bought with my Husqvarna lawn tractor. One of the OEM chains bent and became unusable within the first 3 days of use. Plowing with one chain just doesn't cut it! I started looking for suitable replacements and discovered the TerraGrips chains. I put them on this morning and figured it was all or nothing. I started off with the most difficult portion of my driveway by plowing uphill on ice/packed snow. These chains worked flawlessly moving snow uphill in what I would consider the worst case scenario. I was able to clear my 3800+ square feet drive in no time at all. These chains didn't leave me stuck or stranded this morning. These chains have my attention and I hope they continue to perform like they did this morning. I will try and update with a video demonstration over the course of weekend, pending additional snowfall.

Good investment for improved traction!
These should come standard on all tractor mowers! I live in the rain forest in Hawaii and our entire 1+ acre yard is centipede grass on clay. As it rains most days/nights out of the year, the clay is always soft and the weight of the tractor causes it to slip in some spots on the hill areas. These TerraGrips help tremendously in the fight against slippage. When installing on my Craftsman T8600 Pro, I found it easier to deflate the tires a bit to fit these on them reinflate--makes them nice and snug and easy to distribute them evenly. Best of all, they don't damage my lawn! They seem quite durable and I anticipate should last for several years for me. I highly recommend these if you are having slip issues--great product!

Best thing to use for blacktop driveways!
I got these to replace some old metal chains that I use on my John Deere garden tractor when using a snowblower. They didn't have a small enough size for my tractor. So I had to drill the rivets our of one of the slats, remove it and shorten the chains. The primary reason I got these was that I was tired of tearing up my hilly blacktop driveway every winter. I've used these 2 or 3 times so far this season and I couldn't be happier!. They provide much better traction than the metal chains they replaced and no damage to the drive in any way. I you are using metal chains on blacktop, especially, - you gotta try these.

Got grip!
I have a large house that sits on a 1 acre plus hilly lot. Without the grips I had a hard time maintaining traction when cutting the grass especially if it was a little damp. They went on without a problem and now I can run my tractor up and down the lot without slipping. I forgot to mention that originally I had tire chains on the tractor but my wife made me take them off because they were marking up the concrete driveway and sidewalks, TerraGrips roll over concrete without so much as a mark.

Should of got these sooner!
First off, shipping was very fast, box arrived sealed with everything inside as ordered, instructions and all. I installed as directed bu deflating the tires to 2lb or less, installed these bicr and tight securing with cable ties all loose chain and added a fee of my own cable ties to make it even more tight. Wow, amazing traction with these on my turfs, I have to make tight turns and climb afterwards, with these noooo problem anymore, need to pull out my trailer, without these a hit and miss, now it is so easy! Just feels like a whole new machine and I think these will last forever, hard belted rubber and chains, really whats there to break. A little bumpy on a hard surface but don't even know they are on when on turf. Very happy customer!!!

Excellent for my hills
I have had problems with my mower in my hilly back yard. I live in Kentucky and despite the terrain, riding lawn mowers still come with the low tread rear tires. I have a terrible time getting up the hills in my yard because the tires just spin and going down the hills it is impossible to stop. So, you just tend to slide until you get to the bottom and have no control. When the grass is damp, forget about it. These have done a fantastic job at giving me the traction I need without destroying my grass and are a much better option than replacing the tires. At first I thought they were not going to fit even though I bought the correct size. If you don't lift the mower up to put them on and just drive on them you need to do quite a bit of adjusting back and forth to get them on. But they will slide back and forth enough to adjust and clamp firmly in place. I can see this as a much better option than the chains my neighbor bought because of the reduction in damage on both the lawn and drive.

Hills are no problem now
I have a steep incline in my back yard, and my new Cub Cadet with the 'turf saver' tires just wasn't cutting it (pun intended). Any little incline would cause the tires to spin, so I came here to find a solution. And these were it. Installation was very simple, and it helped to watch the youtube video that explained it. Took me about 15 minutes to get them both on. I tackled the worst part of the lawn and these things kept the tires moving, and I was able to climb the hills with no problem. So happy.
