Simple Genius
Have tried other portable holders that were made of plastic, and invariably they all broke within a year or so. The constant and extreme heat and/or cold inside a car makes short work of cheap plastics that are handled all the time. They might survive indefinitely if your cars are garaged most of the time, but mine aren't. These metal ones fit my EZ passes great and are about as aesthetically unobtrusive/streamlined a holder as you can get. They also don't seem to have any negative impact on the operation/range/reliability of the EZ passes themselves. The weakest point of these holders is probably the suction cup nub that fits into the frame of the holder. Over time, I can see the metal rubbing into the suction cup (from being constantly handled and just from the constant vibrations in a moving car) and ripping off at that point, but that's purely conjecture: wouldn't be surprised if these really do last indefinitely. A simple but ingenious product. Love them.

I like it
I really like my EZ-pass holder. My pass fits snugly in the holder which stays put on my front window.

Seems good.
Just got this to mount my old version EZ-Pass and it fits into this holder nice and secure. It doesn't feel like it will fall out of the metal clip. The suction cup feels sturdy, usually suction cups are too small and can't support the weight of whatever its supposed to hold but this one seems right. I'm hoping this will last a good number of years. The 3M velcro sticky mounts are another option and I've had good experiences with that too as long as the glass is cleaned well. This alternative is nice since I can remove it from the glass without a messy residue.

Works as advertised.
I ordered this because I had used velcro stickers that came with my original EZ-Pass transponder on my old car. I recently traded that old car in for a new one, and I wanted to find a way not to put more adhesives on the windshield. This was highly rated, so I ordered it. It arrived in an easy to open plastic packaging. It did fit my non-flex EZ-Pass transponder without a problem. When I installed it on my windshield, it did fall off after 5 minutes, but I think I didn't apply the suction cup correctly. After the second attempt, it hasn't fallen off.

Great for occasional Fastpass user
I use this for my FastPass in the Bay Area of California. I didn't want to use the velcro and stick it to the window, I think those velcro strips look bad. Plus, if someone is looking to break in a car, they can look for the velcro strips attached to the windshield, and deduce that there is probably a FastPass in the glove box, and those things have money on them. I keep my fastpass in it, and only put it up right before I use it. After I go through the toll, I take it off, and put it back in the silver bag, and back in the glove box. If it's not stuck to the window, no one knows that it's in the car (no tell tale velcro strips stuck to the window). I think it's also safer than trying to hold the thing up while driving through the toll booth and looking like a fool. I got my Fastpass at Costco (paid $25 and got $30 available for tolls), and it fits fine. It's a tight fit, and I wouldn't want to take it on and off, but it works for me.

Fits CA FasTrak easily
Fits the CA FasTrak Responder easily. We use the FasTrak about 4-5 times a month, not for our regular commute to work. I did not see the point in fixing it onto the windshield when we use it so infrequently. I also hated the look of Velcro on the car. The responder would usually bang around across the dash and I worried that it would fall onto the passenger side and not receive a reading. This holder fixes all of that and it is easy to use. When we need it, I just stick it onto the windshield and remove it when I’m done. The suction cup holds well compared to other, cheaper suction cups. The responder just slips right in and it feels secure. The holder does not feel like it is stressed or that it will lose any of its grip on the responder. You do not even have to remove the existing velcro tabs.

Good quality suction cup, slimline and neat installation.
Very neatly tucks my EZ Pass up and out of sight behind my rear-view. I purchased this because I hate using the included 3M strips to semi-permanently mount the EZ Pass, it inevitably will need to be moved or attached to a replacement windshield. This product has a very sturdy suction cup that has already lasted months on first suction and appears to be of good quality fresh rubber/silicone. JL Safety EZ Pass-Port EZP300, Indestructible holder fits Mini and OLD size EZ Pass (not the Flex), I Pass, I Zoom, PalPass hard case and FasTrak transponders. Holder only. Made in USA

Great option over velcro tape
I recently purchased a new vehicle and looked for an option other than velcro tape for my 'older' EZ Pass. I found this and purchased it based on the majority of 5 star reviews. I've been using this holder for several weeks and it works great! The actual EZ Pass fits nice and snug in the holder. Applying the holder to the windshield was as simple as positioning it where you want it and pressing for suction. I did wipe the area first with rubbing alcohol. I will also say that we've have several really hot (90+ degrees) and humid days and the holder has stayed put. I would definitely recommend this.

BEST EZ-pass transponder holder I've tried... perfect for rental-car users or households with multiple vehicles
I didn't want to have Velcro strips stuck to the windshields of multiple vehicles, and was looking for a quality suction-cup alternative. I've tried the plastic ones before (cheap in quality, not price), and they either break, or they fall off and wind up under the seat, just as you approach the toll-booth (almost like they know, lol). These metal holders fit the newer version EZ-Pass transponders (smaller one) perfectly, stick to the (clean) windshield like glue in all weather, easy to remove and place in another vehicle (great for rental cars!), and best of all... they do NOT alter the performance of the transponder! I've not had one of these fall off the windshield (after cleaning it well and attaching with a moistened suction-cup)... I even used this holder on my motorcycle windshield once, and it performed perfectly through multiple tolls over an 800 mile trip, although I think for piece-of-mind, I will go back to using the Neoprene/clamp holder that mounts and holds more securely... I really don't want to risk bumps and wind-shear causing the suction-cup to vibrate loose... costing me money to replace the holder and transponder... not to mention not having it when I need it at the toll booth!

Works well
I wanted something that didn't glue to my windshield to hold my EZ Pass transponder. Honestly, I figured buying this was a gamble. I was expecting it fall off easily. I cleaned the glass where it was to be installed well and it has stayed in place ever since. I've put both the old and new style transponders in it and it holds them nicely. I expect the suction cup with one dry out from sun exposure and when it does I'll be buying another one of these. I just wish I had know about them sooner for my other cars.
