• Twin Bubble airlock with Carboy bung
  • Allows for slower evaporation
  • Universal Carboy bung for any fermentation vessel

Pretty much exactly what you expect. These plastic airlocks work great in the standard sized carboy. You have to really wedge them in the first few times, but they are supposed to be tight to create an air-tight seal (and have for all my projects I've used them for). A few things to note: - My airlocks look just like the picture, no red caps or different pieces - Fit them with a food grade sanitizer (like SanStar), this will help cut down on bugs wanting to float around them and if liquid was to flow back into whatever you're making it will not ruin it (a friend of mine just had this happen cold crashing a beer). - Check what kind of bung your container takes, there are a few different sizes out there. I have only used these on 5 and 6 gallon glass carboys.

These fit perfect on the big glass bottles of organic apple juice!! You can ferment right from the bottle. Lol. Pour a glass of juice out, add raw sugar, yeast and yeast nutrient and done!! I didn’t even hear any of it up, I just shook it really good.

I absolutely LOVED this set of bubblers. I had an issue at first that made me think OMG they are defective... NOPE it was all user error. I was trying to fit them in with the airlock in the bung. LEARN from my mistake... take the airlock out; adjust the bung and then insert the airlock. It worked amazingly well in the glass carboy I own and the drilled out plastic caps of the store bought Apple Cider jugs i bought. Not air leaks at all once i figured out what I was doing wrong.

They work wonderfully. I have already noticed where it has kept things out of the mead that I am making. The drawback that I encountered was I overfilled a jug and little bits got into the airlock. That was really had to clean and took some time. However, if you are careful you will not have that issue.

These seem to be the same as others I have bought at winemaking shops. The bung fits my "standard" 3, 5. and 6 gallon glass carboys perfectly. The fit is snug, sits about half an inch into the carboy and stands tall for easy removal. The material is harder than rubber, but it is soft enough to seal tightly. The caps are clear plastic with a number of small drilled holes. As others have mentioned, it takes a strong pull to remove them for cleaning, and you have to be careful not to break them.

I am very happy. It was inexpensive and arrived in a couple of days. I have used it several times with no problems.

It works great, what an awesome tube to keep a lock down the air and oxygen. the only down fault this size don't fit on a 5-gallon water jug. No problem, adapt and overcome the obstacles... Food grade bucket will do the trick. I try to post a 10-sec video on the sound of bubbles... I cant.

Twin bubble or as i know them, S locks, are the best and only air locks i use. They are ONE piece, the water takes longer to evaporate (for those long ferments), and they don't suck in liquid if it pulls a vacuum. They're pretty much a condensed version of a blow off hose stuck in a jar of water. Can't go wrong.

I used these airlocks when making my cherry alcohol... It helped immensely to prevent oxygen from getting into my brew and I was so satisfied with my results... My brew did indeed create alcohol and not vinegar thanks to these airlocks... So happy with this product and I definitely recommend buying if you want to make a nice homemade brew!

Gabbed a few of these to go with a Big Mouth Bubbler from Northern Brewer and they seem to fit better than the one that came with it. The Bung is stiffer also making it feel secure when you press it in. The airlocks themselves seem to work just fine and don't have any leaks.
