We love these so much. Our first set we have had for 5 years and we just bought a second set since we now have 3 school aged children and needed more. After near daily use for 5 years the 3 that we have not lost are still in great condition. The very best thing about these is how they never warp or bubble or get damaged in the dishwasher like most other similar products. These are far superior in quality. 5 years ago on our fist set, one of the containers broke when dropped and the president of the company personally emailed me and sent me a replacement and bonus gift, no questions asked and very promptly. EXCELLENT customer service and EXCELLENT product...far better than the competition like glad or other store brands. These are a must for school lunches

We used to pack lunch items in 1/2 cup Glad containers. It was easy to prepack - I always had a basket of single serve containers of goldfish crackers, grapes, whatever (especially handy for portion control and when you buy in bulk) - but the little individual containers became such a pain to wash! A million little plastic cups and lids flying around the dishwasher or falling out of the dish drainer. Then after awhile they just wouldn't come clean anymore. I have a couple other divided containers that came with my boys' lunch boxes but I saw these and decided to try them. I prefer these over any of the other lunch containers I have. They are easier to clean, simpler to store (they nest while my others don't) and the proportions of the sections are just right. Given the choice, I grab these over my other ones every morning. We're 1/2 way into the school year and my boys - who tend to be hard on things - haven't damaged these at all. I'd say these are a winner!

I see a lot of complaints on here about leakage and lids not snapping tightly, and I'm confused. We've never had a problem with them, and we've been using them for the last 6 months. I regularly make puddings and pour them directly in one of the compartments while still hot so they set in the container - no leaks. Through the dishwasher many Many times, still going. So I wanted to suggest a good lunchbox for this. My son (11) uses a BUILT neoprene lunchbag, (http://www.amazon.com/BUILT-Neoprene-Spicy-Relish-Lunch/dp/B004SPVZCK) and the EasyLunchbox fits flat and snugly in the bottom, leaving lots of room for a bottle of water and a few other snack items. (IDK if the pictures show it well, but there is still plenty more room for another item or two after his lunch was packed) Maybe having it lay flat has been the reason we've been successful? If you keep an eye on Amazon, these lunchbags fluctuate in price - I've had to replace one because of a hole tore in the side (after at least a year of heavy rotation) and had to wait a month or so until it dropped to $18. Hope this helps! :)

I looked up a million different containers and bento boxes but finally settled on these. Great price, fun colors, fit in most lunchboxes, and fit a whole sandwich in the large compartment. The compartments are not leak proof but they work great for mini oranges, chips, grapes, berries, etc. I use them for both snack and lunch. You can actually fit a sandwich and a half in the big compartment if your bread/sandwich is not too thick. For snack we also put dried fruit, food pouches (veggie/fruit blend), carrots, cucumbers, nuts, popcorn, etc. And SOOOOO EASY TO CLEAN! If you have been looking at a million things and just want someone to say "GET THIS ONE" here you have it. These will do.

I love the easy lunch boxes! I originally bought them for my kids for daycare and for future school lunches and ended up using them for mine and my husbands lunches as well! We used them so much we bought 2 more sets so now we have a total of 4 and all of the colors. They work GREAT!!

I needed a good divided container so I could make up my meals for the week to take to work, just grab & go. I've had no problems, I'm careful not to put liquids in it, just from reading previous reviews, but otherwise they are perfect. I just make up my meals, fill up my sections, place them in the freezer then grab one when it's time to go to work. In fact, I bought a second set so I'd always have something to put leftovers in even when I wasn't planning my work-week meals. I've not microwaved them with frozen food, I've always made sure food was thawed, just to save stress and possible melting/burning of the plastic. I've used them in the microwave numerous times and they came through with flying colors!

I've only been reusing 1 box out of the 4 for the past 2 weeks, but it really makes packing lunch easy. I wake up around 8am and pack my lunch. I've only eaten rice in the large section and put veggies in the smaller sections, so I don't know how processed snacks would taste later on (i.e. if they're still fresh). I have found that the vegetables I put in stay pretty crisp and the condensation of the main meal (usually rice, meat, and cooked veggies heated in a separate bowl before transferring to bento) does not cross over. Also the heated rice cools down to room temperature/warm after 4 hours of being in my backpack, but it's still pretty tasty. The veggies however, still retain most of their coolness. I would say the dividers and lid do a pretty good job to prevent all the food from equalizing at the same temp. Also, I hand wash the bento everyday, it's one of the easiest things to clean. Even though the bento advertises to be microwaveable, I will never microwave it because plastics + heat is generally not too appetizing in any way. No spillage so far, but I don't really pack wet/soggy food (since the description says they are not leak proof) and I also take an extra precaution to put a rubber band the main section. I keep the container in my backpack and I'm walking around most of the day and i take a total of 40 minutes of bus ride a day, 5x a week which compresses the container against my weight+books+macbook+seat. It has not cracked. The size of it is great! I eat 2 portions from it usually. One during lunch and another before dinner time because I have a night class during dinner until 8. From the picture, you can see that I can surprisingly fit a lot! Some people are complaining this is too small to feed their teenagers/kids!! I fit 2 cups of cooked rice in the main compartment. That's nearly 500g+ of food in this container...

I bought two sets of these at the beginning of this past school year. I had 4-5 people using them daily all school year, including 3 elementary school kids, a middle school kid, and me (adult, and using over school breaks as well, so pretty constant use). At first I was putting all of the pieces in the dishwasher, top rack. Then I realized that the tops warped just a bit from the dishwasher so I started to hand wash. After many months I noticed that the bottoms were getting a bit messed up from the dishwasher as well and decided to just hand wash them altogether, which honestly wasn't a burden. Other than that, they held up very well to heavy use. At the very end of the school year I had two crack a bit and threw them out. I also threw out another that got accidentally put through the dishwasher again and the bottom got kind of...melted? Anyway, I really love these and I came here to order another set to replace the broken ones so we can continue to use them through summer for camp. They fit perfectly in regular kids' lunchboxes bought at Target, plus they fit absolutely perfectly in the bottom of my Wildkin double decker lunchbox. And they are a great size, with enough room for a nice-sized lunch. I definitely recommend them for kids and adults.

I bought these for school and travel lunches for my kids ages 4-9. They work great, lids pop on easily. They fit perfectly inside their insulated LL Bean lunch boxes, with some room on top to add a drink pouch, and utensils or even a clementine. (I also highly recommend the LL Bean lunch boxes, they are high quality and durable. Pick a color/print your kids will like for all of grade school, because they last!) We have not had any problems with lids coming off, even when my 4 year old has school picnics in the woods after hiking a mile or more with his lunch in his backpack. For long car trips we pack everyone's meal in one, and stack them up in a reusable grocery bag. They work perfectly! -After a few months of heavy use and cycles in the dishwasher none have broken or warped. They are more durable than the "take and toss" variety, but not as heavy duty as Tupperware. Perfect weight as a lunch-box insert. -Fresh fruit like cut strawberries, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, and tomatoes all do well, and we haven't had any leaks. we do not add sugar to our fruits, if you do you may have more juice and have leaking issues. I have not tired yogurt. -Tops have not come off. (Containers have not been carried loose in backpacks with other things.) I would recommend this product! -For salad dressing I'd recommend a water tight dressing container. There's plenty of room between the lunchbox and the container to place it. . Who wants soggy salad anyway?

This 3-pack of 3 compartment plastic, bento lunch box containers fits perfectly in my daughter's insulated, fabric lunch box. (see photos) After sitting the closed container in the lunchbox, I slip a thin igloo freeze pack in the pocket opposite the container and everything stays cold and fresh. The plastic is fairly thick and the top seals well to keep foods separated during the trip to school in my daughter's backpack. I've used the same container for the last 3 weeks without issue. (In an attempt to make it last longer, I hand wash the lunch box after each school day.) I would highly recommend these containers.
