I bake as a hobby and make cakes for my kids’ birthdays. Just recently I made two Lego Ninjago Ninja Kai cakes with these pans. I don’t give them regular use, would say 5-6 times per month... but each time, these fabulous pens are super easy to prep, bake with, and clean. They have not scratched nor rusted and really do provide an even bake. The only thing is that they do dent easily so you have to be careful when you wash or store them to not put any other pots or utensils. I think the reason for this is because they are made of aluminum, which allows for an even, uniformed bake. So... you are really getting great quality! I cannot speak for the needs of professional bakers, but I definitely recommend these pans if you are into cake baking.

Perfect for a beginning baker. Cake never stuck to the pan. Super easy to clean. Makes making a tiered cake easy!

I bought 2 sets and I love them. The 4” rounds are great for making smash cakes too. Just be sure to hand wash, one went through the dishwasher by accident and came out a little different but it still works the same.

One box cake mix fits perfectly and I can use the middle sized pan for instant pot. Win-win.

I ordered these to make a birthday cake for my daughter. I've been baking cakes since I was a small child (over 25 years ago), and I'm quite familiar with Wilton's products. I'm happy with these because they are lightweight but sturdy and the cakes baked in them bake evenly. These may be smaller than what you are envisioning -- the largest cake pan is 8", the medium sized one is 6", and the smallest is 4". So, for the sake of visualization, the largest cake would be slightly less wide than the width of a sheet of copy paper, and the smallest cake would be slightly wider than the width of an index card. The pans are nice and deep, so you can make nice, tall layers with them (and have them still bake evenly). A one-layer, three tier cake uses a single, two-layer cake recipe. So, if you plan to make a two-layer, three tier cake, you will need to double your batter recipe (or get two boxes of cake mix). I did a scaled down test run of my daughter's birthday cake with these and it turned out beautifully. (I used only the larger two pans, a single two-layer cake recipe, 0.5 lbs. fondant, and 1.5 batches of buttercream frosting.) I'm looking forward to making her actual cake with these!

Haven't used them yet, but they seem nice. Considering I paid $10 for them, I think it's a steal! The back of the box comes with instructions for how much batter to use and how long to bake, and how many servings each pan makes. The box says the full trio will hold one box of cake mix, producing 1.5" tall cakes (but includes notations for making the cakes 2" tall using more batter) and will produce about 40 servings. I think they're over estimating the servings. I mean, they're saying you can get 8 servings from the 4". Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a skimpy serving! Having these pans in hand makes the reason they made it to my cart seem more possible: making my own wedding cake. Between now and then, though, I have a first birthday cake to make. I'm so excited! One drawback. They're not dishwasher safe.

Make sure you spray the pans or the cake will stick. These pans work together to make the perfect size tiered cake. I love that one cake mix makes one of each size pan. Two mixes=three tiers each of two layers. Easy to use and great for a home baker

Worked perfectly!!!! a little smaller than I had expected but it worked.

Great set of pans! I've never had a tiered set of pans and have always used two 8" rounds for any cake making that I do. This set does the job and makes an adorable tiered cake using a single box of cake mix. I've made a cake using two boxes and I was able to slice the layers in half to create a beautiful three-tierd six-layered cake. I've impressed my friends and family too much! Haha
