Saved My precious cat 'Bunny's life. He was legarthic, 10+ years old, lost all his weight, labored breathing, sneezing all the time. His breath was atrocious. I couldn't afford to take him to the vet as his sister had to go to the vet previous week. He was so bad off I was feeding him liquid renal failure formula. I googled for hours his symptoms. It seemed like FHV with respiratory illness. I only had enough funds to purchase this item- * ---after a only one day, he was still not eating as couldn't smell food, but at least he was moving, big difference after 3 days. After 2 weeks and antibiotics, he came back to life. His breath was repaired with some dental fresh & coconut oil (he eats this like ice cream & comes running any time the jar is opened-good microbophic properties* just a little dab on end of finger & he is now very soft & fluffy). He is now running around like the energizer bunny he was when a kitten tearing & galloping through the house at 3 am. He is my precious baby :) this is an edited update/// my cat loves coconut oil , but i have stopped more than a smidgin as is causes extreme weight gain...he is not happy with that. love to Bunny!

I bought this for my cat that gets eye infections frequently (might be cat herpes). He was in the middle of an infection when it arrived, which last time took like 10 days to go away (with the same antibiotic cream I was using this time). Here's the deal: 1. He is obsessed with the taste. All I have to do is call his name and flip the cap open and he comes running. Our 2x day routine has him following me around in the time frame I usually give it to him. So cute. (My other cat was very suspicious of it initially but now she comes over some too because she really likes it.) He can be picky with treats so the fact he took to it right away amazed me. 2. His infection started going away drastically after the 2nd day I used it. The infection is completely gone and he now has more spunk to him than he has had in a while. I look forward to using this product with him indefinitely- I've been concerned about his immune system for a while and thanks to my vet's recommendation I'm not worried anymore!

I've boughten the lysine treats and powder for my cat and she just hates them. She refused to swallow the treats and wouldn't eat her food if the powder was mixed in. When I told the vet about it when she had a herpes flare-up, my vet told me about the gel version. I bought this right away to give it a try and she loves it. Took a bit of getting used to. At first, I would wipe a little around her mouth at a time, which she would then have to lick to get clean. Then, she started eating it off my finger. Now she eats it right from the measuring spoon and really enjoys it. Her sniffles aren't as bad and I hope this will help her health improve.

Lysine is an immune booster & very helpful for immunocompromised cats & dogs. My vet prescribed lysine for my dog that I measured out & sprinkled on his food. Then my 21 yr old kitty caught a cold while I was sick too & vet prescribed lysine in this gel Viralys form daily for him in his old age to help keep him from getting sick. He lived to be 23! The gel form is much easier to give to cats & they either like the flavor or can’t tell when it’s on their food (I’m not sure which); & can be put directly on the tongue if using a syringe. I just put a 1cc needle-less syringe to the tip of the Viralys tube & draw while squeezing a tiny bit on the tube & no waste/no mess. I just put 0.5cc on top of my kitty’s canned food once a day & the tube lasts quite a long time for 1 cat, so not bad! Sadly, he was my little antique by time he reached his 23rd b-day & departed. I’m now using Viralys to help keep a FeLV very immunosuppressed cat from getting sick (along w/ no exposure to other cats or any sick people & keeping her indoors only) so she can live a happy life as long as possible w/o succumbing to every virus & bug that comes near. It’s a challenge but one of love. So I immediately started her on Viralys in hopes that it might help even in this severe case. For most pets, this is hands down a very good choice!! The verdict is still out in the case of the cat I’m trying to help that has essentially no immunity at all, but it sure won’t hurt her & just might help a little too. I do know it’s a great product from my own past experience & also because it was vet reccommended for my sweet ancient little guy as well as previous knowledge & use of lysine for people & dogs.

I switched to the powered version of Viralys and wish I had done it sooner. My cat Belle needs this medicine but stopped eating the gel version. The powered version is really much better as I know exactly how much she is actually eating. Mix the measured amount into a little bit of the juice or sauce from their cat food. It dissolves quickly and I like to pour it on top of her food so I know she is eating it. It recommends 2x per day and she has wet food for breakfast and dinner so it works out well, and easy to adhere to. It took about a week or two, with 2x daily treatment, to really see the difference. She had developed a wheeze when she was napping and that has gone away as well as the crusting around her nasal area. All-in-all an indispensable product for giving Belle a better life, and reducing my worry.

My indoor cat was recently diagnosed with FIV. The vet thinks possibly his mother (who was a stray) had this or was a carrier. Our cat is now about 13 years old and has never gone outside. The vet thought because now he is older, the disease is finally showing up. The vet ran tests on him and said his immune system was shot. This was devastating to my children. A friend told me about this product in the chewy treat form. However, at the time my cat wasn't eating so I decided to go with the gel instead. Since starting him on this, his condition has greatly improved. If you didn't know he has FIV you would never know it. He is back to normal, eating, drinking, and occasionally running around (this is normal for him), and putting some of his weight back on. I will continue to keep him on this product for the rest of his life. It has made a huge difference in the quality and I'm sure in the quantity of his life. Great product!

My cat absolutely loves this stuff. I got him as a kitten from the shelter and noticed that for several months he would be sniffle on and off and occasionally have heavy breathing and well as a runny eye, always on the same side. After a bout with pneumonia my vet diagnosed him with feline herpes and recommended lysine powder to control outbreaks. We went through a whole jar of the little white pellets that smell disturbingly like dead fish and my boy would barely eat it. I gave this a shot, and he absolutely goes crazy for it. Now every morning and night, he's in my face meowing and begging for this. Mind you, he doesn't even recognize cat treats as edible, so him liking this gel is a big deal. This is a Carmel colored, molasses flavored gel. My cat absolutely loves it. We've been using our fist tube for about 6 months. I do about a half tsp to a full tsp on a fingertip for my 10lb cat twice daily and we haven't had a single respiratory infection since using this product. I will continue buying and I would recommend it to anyone.

I volunteer in cat rescue (TNR and fostering) and have my own zoo crew and I swear by this stuff. If you give it 2x/day at the beginning symptoms of a URI - any sniffling or sneezing - this stops the URI in its tracks! In a multi cat household this has been a lifesaver, and for sickly fosters this is awesome too to prevent anything from getting worse or spreading. I give it to the kitties at the onset of any symptoms and it's easy because they love the taste so it's easy to administer (you don't need a lot either). Highly recommend always having a tube on hand, well worth it!

My 3 year old cat has Feline Herpes - it cost him his left eye shortly after the shelter found him in bad shape. He gets along more than fine now, but after a URI a couple of years ago, the Vet sent us home with antibiotics and Viralys. The cat hated it at first, refused to take it. I found some treats that he tolerated if they were hidden in his food instead, but eventually he grew wise and stopped taking those. But then next time he started sneezing, I tried Viralys again...and he loved it. He's taken it like a champ ever since. Sometimes I need to place a small amount on the tip of his nose to get him started, but he'll go after it enthusiastically once he's gotten a taste. I give him a maintenance dose most days and he hasn't had a URI since.

I tried this as a last resort. I spent hundreds of dollars at the vets trying to find help for my sweet and loving cat. She would vomit, be lethargic, stop eating, stop drinking, and i was sure she was going to die. I got her from a shelter, and she had many owners before she and i found each other. I wonder if her recurring illness issues were part of the reason people gave her up. I could not continue to spend so much money taking her in to have the vets tell me they didn't know what was wrong with her. I tried this gel because my son gave it to his cat on the recommendation of their vet. I tried all the syringes, putting it on her food (no help if she is not eating anyway) and finally just put some on my finger and stuck it in her mouth. Success! That is what the vet did with my son's much more particular cat, so with my mild mannered cat, it was a snap. Still is. I firmly believe this stuff has saved her life. She still has issues from time to time, but I know the signs now, and if i see her starting to go off her food and want to hide all day, I start giving her a dose 2x a day, and she snaps out of it quickly. My son's dr. said to continue to two weeks, and that is what i did initially. This is not a recommendation for a cure, and i am not telling you to skip the vet, but for me, this Virally Gel is amazing. I firmly believe it saved my cats life.
