excellent product. In dental field for 30 years,and found this helpful in many situations. It is like peroxide,but in gel form so it sits on the irritated site,foams up and you can work it under the gum line with floss...heals the swelling quickly.Hard to find in store,but easy on amazon.

Canker sore gone after 2 uses

Honestly this is one of the weirdest things I've ever done-- but it worked. I put the patch on my canker sore (looks like a tiny pill) overnight and when I woke up the patch was all huge and felt like a sponge. It was very strange to put a dry pill-looking thing on the sore, but when you wake up it looks entirely different. It is soft and sponge-like. Anyways--- IT WORKED! My canker sore was significantly smaller when I woke up and no longer rubbed up against my teeth. I did one more night with the canker patch and it was completely gone. This product works great for not just mouth sore, but tongue sores. Would highly recommend! I especially would encourage you to use overnight like I did, instead of during the day. Just because you won't have to worry about eating and drinking water, etc.

Worked surprisingly well

Seven-year-old had a canker sore toward the rear of her mouth so we tried this out. Used half of a patch per the directions, and it worked like a charm. Directions warned that it would hurt more initially, which was helpful to know so i could prepare her for that. Stung for a few seconds and then fine. Put it on before bed and by the next morning, the canker sore was essentially healed. Very impressed.

Simply amazing

Simply amazing. Wasn’t sure if it would even work, but had pain for couple days that was driving me crazy - had sore that was in constant contact with teeth. This product was very effective and drasticly removed pain. I tried multiple different products and this one ended up to be the most resultive. Was surprised that CVS sell oral pain reliever, but not those covers/patches.

This product has been around for generations. Glad it's still available.

I like to think of gly oxide as a gel of hydrogen peroxide with a pleasant taste for the mouth. It's great for mouth ulcers, sores, and injuries such as biting your tongue or cheek. I've noticed it helps whiten teeth a little, too. I like that it doesn't sting or burn when using it. Definitely recommend this product.

The only effective treatment I've found for canker sores

This is the only canker sore treatment that has given me actual relief. Everyone who finds out that I suffer from canker sores has a "surefire" cure to tell me about. I always try them and they never work. Reducing the sugar in my diet has been somewhat effective, but I will still get one every now and then. Tea tree oil does nothing, cream of tartar does nothing, chewing a tums helps for about 2 minutes. Orajel helps a little bit but i find that I have to use it every half hour for sustained relief. I put a canker cover on before bed, and it's still there in the morning. Sores are gone or at least manageable in 1-3 days. It hurts a little bit to put it on, but it is totally worth it for the hours of relief. And the patch definitely feels weird in your mouth--imagine having one of those rubber circles that people put on the inside of their cabinet doors stuck to your lip, but again, totally worth it. The only downside is they are pretty expensive. I will break each one in half or sometimes in 4ths if my sores are small, and this helps them last longer. They're cheaper on amazon than in any grocery store I've seen.

Wow, they actually work

I've had issues with canker sores since I was a kid that can be incredibly painful and take a solid week of suffering before they heal. There are lots of numbing solutions on the market that help a bit, but this is the first unique product I've tried and I was pleasantly surprised. They really do heal so much faster- I was honestly amazed at the difference. Yes, they form a giant blob wherever you place the tablet and you won't really be able to talk normally. I definitely wouldn't try using these before you head off to work or a social event. However, I've been using them overnight and when I wake up the sore is so much calmer. It's cut the healing time in half, maybe even faster than that.

Finally, relief!

Canker sores are tiny, yet extremely painful, especially when chewing! I had one below one of my molars, on the bottom of my mouth. It was hell to chew, so I ordered these. I followed the instructions which tells you to dry the sore first, and hold the tablet there for 20 seconds. Amazingly, it sticks and stays for the full 12 hours (for me it was more like 14 hours). It doesn't slide off at all, even when chewing breakfast the next morning. Even brushing my teeth it stayed. Once it was fully dissolved I could tell it helped because the pain was greatly reduced (still slight discomfort, but not pain like before). I highly recommend these for speeding up the healing process and for helping with the pain.

Simple Common Sense When using the product

This worked well. People think once they put this on it magically heals and will be stuck as if your skin... NO. Just follow the direction and use common sense when using this product. Just need to be careful when you are eating with this product on and it might get sticky towards the teeth but be careful when opening your month. Some thinking will prevent misuse of this product.

HEALED MY PIERCING

This product is theONLY THING that healed my lip piercing. It was very infected and regular sea salt water treatments, hydrogen peroxide, and soaking it in the salt water treatment was not enough. I was cleaning my piercing with warm sea salt water after every time I ate, but that wasn’t working either. I started using this to clean it after eating and it healed my piercing so fast! I thought I was going to have to take it out! Also, many months later my piercing got infected again, so I tried hydrogen peroxide (since this is similar) but once again I didn’t see improvement until I used this. It’s amazing.
