I've used a lot of cat mats to control litter spread, but the ones with little spikes that stick up don't do much. This design has little holes and the litter gets trapped in there so it doesn't spread it. It actually works. The pricepoint is very good, compared to some very expensive mats that get good reviews. But I'll stick with this one because it works and the price is very worth it. Will be getting two more for the other boxes in the house. It does take a little time for it to relax from being rolled up but if you put something heavy on the corners it will do so in a couple days.

This is my review for Petlinks Purr-fect Paws Cat Litter Mat. I have a senior male cat that has runny poo and he tends to sometimes miss the litter box (yes, I have taken him to the vet multiple times). I used to have one of those mats that felt kind of scratchy and rough, but when the cat gets a mess on it I have found no way of getting it off easily. So I found myself replacing it often. For me I wanted something that would keep the mess off the floor and be easy to cleanup. This fits the bill perfectly for my needs and it also keeps the litter from my hallway floor. So it's a Win/Win. I got the XL Version in Gray. It is big enough to use in my space that I have for 2 Large Catit litter boxes with the following dimensions 22.4 inches x 18.3 inches x 15.3 inches. Also, another thing to mention it had no funny smells and laid perfectly flat right of the package. I would not hesitate to recommend this mat. It's perfect!

This works great and better than I expected. I had one with those rubbery strings matted up to catch litter (looks like a commercial entry mat) and it worked well but ripped just from moving it around and I could never get all the litter out of it. This catches litter really well and it's easy to shake the litter back into the box. And it washes up easy with soap and water. Water gets stuck in the recesses when cleaning. But it pats dry with a towel or takes a bit longer if air drying. I'd recommend the large. I have medium in front of another litter box and the cats will sometimes hop right past or around it. The large is too big to avoid. The pictures are a litter cabinet I made and placed the large mat in the bottom with a high sided box on top. One photo is a clean mat and the other is after a week of catching litter. With this setup barely any litter gets out. Although I try a medium mat outside to catch stray litter that makes it out.

Thing catches SO much litter. My cats step out and it seems to take all the litter off their paws. I don't have bunch of litter strewn about the litter box, it's all sitting in the mat. I love it.

I've had cats my whole life, and this is by far the best product to leave most of the litter at the box. No product is 100% when it comes to litter, but I use pine based litter and was used to vacuuming almost everywhere before. I have one cat and you'd think he sprinkled litter in every conceivable location of the house. Well, that was when I used a throw rug to catch the stuff falling as he stepped out. I have wood floors now, and I do sweep pretty much daily because I prefer to, but what I'm sweeping a very, very minimal amount, just a few random specs of litter. This thing catches a lot of litter. I use my cordless battery powered Black and Decker hand vac to vacuum the pad clean, maybe once a week. It's really a great product. I definitely recommend it. I used to end up with litter in my bed regularly. I don't miss that at all! By the way the Black & Decker vac I mention, it's fabulous too, and the cat hair attachment is excellent. I vacuum my cloth chairs that really belong to the cat now and again and it gets all the hair out, making the chair suitable to guests when needed. I love these mats! They smelled a bit funky but aired out fast. Just a rubbery smell no big deal. They are pretty big which is great. They have little recessed circles that trap the litter perfectly. Great price too. Kitteh had no problem adjusting to the mat, she doesn't try to leap over it. I love that the tan blends nicely with our tile. The perfect weight. Doesn't shift when Kitteh bolts out of the box and it's still light enough for my 8 yr old to pick up and shake back into the box. It arrived a day earlier than expected too I <3 Prime :)

I love this. Here is a little trick that I learned. Put this mat in a corner. Put the litter box on the mat - also facing the corner. Instead of my cats walking out of the box and traipsing litter across the floor, they get out of the box walk toward the corner and by the time they walk around the box onto the floor - all of the litter is off their feet. So with the mat and just facing the box into the corner - my floor rarely has litter on it. The mat is easy to clean. I just hold it over the trash can and the litter just falls off.

I purchased one of the large tan Petlinks Purr-Fect Paws Cat Litter Mats to put underneath my cats' Breeze litter system because my old female cat sometimes accidentally pees over the edge of the box. It works perfectly for that purpose! Side Note 1: These mats come packaged in a very tight coil. As a result, they will not lie perfectly flat unless you soften them by putting them in the dryer for about 5 minutes. Warning: They will have an unpleasant rubbery smell when they come out of the dryer, but that totally goes away after the mats cool down. Side Note 2: I periodically wash these mats in my washing machine with regular bleach and detergent and they always come out in perfect condition and with no urine/feces smell.

I am very skeptical of the latest fads in Cat litter tracking prevention technology. I researched and waited 2 years before buying the "Out of Sight Litter Box" which works 100% completely and leaves 0 granuals of litter tracked anywhere, ever. Although I love it, i needed an extra litter box because they say 1 litter box per cat. So i have a typical litter box as #2. It always had litter around the exit. I tried styrofoam, carpet, cardboard boxes, and even (to my shame and discrace, which I will forever be sorry) I tried the sharp horrible Van Ness Trackless Litter Mat (Assorted Colors) (13 3/4'' x 17'' x 5/8'') and it was obviously painful to their paws to even walk on because they would leap over that litter mat to get to the litter box. So I got this, and I'd say it catches about 97% of the litter. PLUS it's a soft, cushion-y material that massages their kitty feet instead of poking them with daggers. Others remarked on the unpleasant smell. I will say I smelled it the first day but not anymore. Would buy again!

Best litter mat ever. I bought this in blue because it was the least expensive in the colors and it wouldn't be where anyone would see it. I cut it into halves for a narrow space. It shows clay litter dust because its a dark blue, but washes or mops off easily. I've bought 4 of these mats so far and I'm going to buy more. Cats don't chew and claw them, either. You can also vacuum over them.
