Chocolate Covered Cherries have always been my favorite boxed candy. This is a first time purchase and I honestly thought I could just run locally and pick up Brach's or Cellas at the drugstore. These are definitely worth it as a special treat. The chocolate is really wish and the cherry inside is very fresh. It is certainly worth the extra as treat or even a hostess gift this holiday season.

As the box was opened, the smell hit our noses and made one enjoy these before it went in the mouth. The chocolate was dark, rich, and delicous. The cherry was fresh and was surrounded by natural juices.

Chocolate is excellent

previously I gave a negative review of the arriving condition of this product. It seems I was ignorant of the way Amazon works and I didn't know they were the ones doing the mailing. I must say that Philadelphia Candies company has gone out of the way to correct the situation. I appreciate the personal attention and hope that the issues will soon be resolved as I also enjoy the convenience of ordering from Amazon. If you love Chocolate cherries as I do you'll definitely like these.

My husband wanted dark chocolate covered cherries for Valentines Day. I searched and found these. They have exceeded my highest expectations by far! The chocolate is dense and creamy with full dark flavor without any bitterness. The cherries, crisp and delicious, are surrounded by just a bit of creamy liquid which does not have the overpowering sweetness in cheaper types. These are the best candies!!!

The box even survived the abuse of a disgruntled postal worker!

This has got to be the most well packaged item I have ever received from a company. The soft foam case truly protected the box better than any number of flimsy plastic bubbles ever could. Our USPS delivery person hates the fact that she now has to deliver boxes along with envelope mail and will crush boxes into the mailbox or drop any that don't fit from standing height onto our doorstep regardless of how many complaints are made against her (or how many "Fragile" stickers are pasted on the box). I am amazed and pleasantly shocked to say that this box survived the abuse shelled out by a disgruntled postal worker. That deserves 5 stars all on its own. Aside from that, I was told the chocolates were not only perfect but tasted absolutely wonderful.

They are awesome. I am diabetic so I occasionally treat myself to one. The packaging now includes a cold pack. For those health nuts leaving one star ratings ask yourself why are you eating candy in the first place. Feel free to spam my honest review and I will return the favor.
