Exactly what I needed

Exactly what I needed. I installed it in the dash of my boat so the power to the stereo and power amp does NOT go thru the ignition switch and instead goes thru this little beauty. I did this so when I shut off the engine it does not momentarily shut off power to these (would happen because it can't go directly from ON to AUX, instead has to go ON-OFF-AUX) which messes up the Bluetooth connection, the power amp would need a second to figure out the stereo was on again, and in general disrupts the groove from the music (which is a bad thing!). Before doing this I had these directly connected to the battery all the time, but did not like that because then these were in standby all the time (instead of OFF) and were more of a constant drain on the battery. Considering the boat is not being used most of the time, this is kind of a big deal. The ability to remove the key after setting in either in the ON or OFF position is a very good thing. I just fire up the equipment before we go out, remove the key and then do the opposite at the end of the day. I am very pleased at how well it looks, especially considering how little time it took to install. I probably spent 10x more time figuring out exactly where I wanted to put it verses actually doing so!

Excellent Key Switches with key removal On or Off!

Theses are good Solid Key Switches with the ability to remove the keys On or Off! They appear to be quite Sturdy and Heavy Duty for most uses! I was impressed with the product as well as the prompt delivery....Keep up the Great Job! Most Pleased......

nice brass keys

Fast delivery, unit looks OK, nice brass keys. Installed on a Tommy liftgate,12 volt system, for low amp draw solenoid power cut out . So far so good

Well-made product

Purchased this to replace the key lock switch for my garage door that the siders smashed. This was the closest looking replacement I could find. The siders, after some ingenious electrical work, were able to make this switch work perfectly with the existing wiring. Apparently, this switch lacks screws on the end connectors, but I believe any electrician can make this work, regardless. Well-made product.
