4 months later and still going

I bought this for Christmas and purchase some ants (from a separate website) for delivery. Its been four months and we still have about 5 or 6 ants going strong. Its been a lot of fun watching these ants dig.

Very good! A bit smaller than I expected, but they tell you the dimensions, so I must have just been overly optimistic. But you get exactly what they say you will get. Good quality gel, my nephews ants love it and are still all alive, tunneling away months later. Good clarity. Really can’t ask for more in an ant farm. I didn’t see the point of the “nest” box, but the ants love it so what do I know?

Tired of buying toys and stuff all the time I decided to buy this for my boy. Bought the ants at the same time from another vendor on here so they would arrive somewhat at the same time. The farm came in in a couple of days and it took about a week or so for the ants to arrive. They strongly urged not to buy them when it was cold outside but I did any way and only about 10 of them didn't make out of the 2 containers we received. The ants started tunneling a day after we transferred them to the farm and haven't stopped yet. We have had them for almost a month now and every time we pass them we stop and check them out. I did tape the tops so they wouldn't easily come off because of the mounds they build up top from the tunneling but we haven't had any issues yet. Feeding hasn't been bad since every now and then we can catch them when they're all in the tunnels. All in all I cant really say anything bad about this product and I would definitely buy it again or get some add ons to give them more room.

best deal as well as so easy to use. Ants have stayed alive for months so far. you do need a tiny thread or string to go down the tube for ants to have access to the top.

Great Deal

I bought one of the nicer LED farms and the ants didn't dig and seemed very unhappy. I bought one of these ant castles and used ants from the same colony. It wasn't even a day before they were adjusted and digging intricate tunnels. Much better deal and I am a lot happier with the product. So far I have ordered three of them and just buy the blue replacement gels so we can keep Farms from all the different colonies of red ants we have on our lands.

After a hiccup, an amazing experience with this product

Our ant farm arrived with cracked gel from freezing while at the warehouse, but we temporarily housed our ants in it out of necessity. The company was AMAZING and responsive and immediately sent a replacement at no charge to us, and we have been very happy with both their service and their product. This is a good investment and a new ant farm enthusiast will find much enjoyment.
