I needed to replace one of my XBOX 360 S units and found this bundle on Amazon at a terrific price. The newer XBOX 360 E models have less connectivity options so the S models are still the ones to buy. The S has 5 USB ports, where the E has 4. The S was the last model to feature the "AV Connector". The E drops this port in favor of a separate HDMI port and composite (ugh) out port. The E also has no optical audio output. The E model hard drive is slightly easier to remove, although it is still only replaceable with official Microsoft replacements. The upcoming XBOX One will not be backwards compatable meaning it will not play any older games, a deal killer for me at least for the next 3-4 years as I have alot invested in XBOX 360 games and Rockband periphials. XBOX 360 WIFI works awesome, this bundle includes an extra controller which is a nice bonus as you can never have enough spares, trust me. I would recommend buying the rechargeable controller batteries as they seem to eat AA,s pretty fast. Kinect games are a good way to get a workout without investing in a bunch of equipment or gym memberships. Buying direct from Amazon has always worked out great for me with fast shipping and a no hassle return policy.

I had an original xbox 360 for 7 years. It was under extended warranty for the first two years and was fixed a couple of times. Finally after warranty ran out it had overheating issues so instead of paying to have it fixed I decided to finally buy a new slim. I am so happy i did. It runs great and I heard that it would be more silent but had no idea until I ran it the first time. What bliss. I actually don't have to turn up the volume on my tv to hear the game. I have always been a fan of xbox 360 and have been pleased with microsofts service. I look forward to getting Xbox One in a year or two. I'm going to wait a while on that one. This package comes with two games one on a disc the other downloadable. WiFi ready. The only slight drawback is that it doesn't come with hd av cables.

This is the first Xbox I have owned and I must say I am impressed by the graphics. Lots of storage on this Xbox. You won't get the full 250GB (only 222GB) but still impressive. Easy setup and is a nice addition to my ever growing home theater setup. Bundle came with two games, headset, controller, and the console. Made a nice Christmas gift. Downloading my Xbox Live profile to my Xbox 360 was easy. Music, movies, videos, photos, apps, games, this system has it all. Still trying to connect it to my Windows Media Center, but so far I give it five stars.

At first, I was just looking for an X-Box 360, but ended up getting this bundle which came with a head set, controller, two games, and a promotional code to x-box live. It was an awesome deal. I also added on the 2 year warranty, which is so nice to have, since these are notorious for getting a "red ring". I got it in less than a week and am very happy with my purchase.

Works well, with no problems. Everything but headphones present & headphone sent immediately on they learned of the mistake. Would have been satisfied anyway. Headphones are connected to controller but results are iffy. Skype on a smartphone or computer works better. Games such as Madden football or Tiger Woods golf are addictive and fun.

I purchased the Xbox 360 Slim to replace my Xbox 360 Elite. To put it simply, I am blown away by how much Microsoft has improved the console. Firstly, it is way, way, way more quiet than the Elite. The comparison I use is that of a motorcycle running (the Elite) versus a motorcycle turned off (the Slim). Even when you're playing a game, the sound of the disc spinning in the drive and the hard drive scanning are quieter. It is just so quiet that if the ring were not illuminated, you might not know it was powered on. Secondly, it is smaller than the original 360. Numbers wise, the difference my be small but visually the size difference is huge. Thirdly, it has a matte black finish like the Elite. I thought all Slims had glossy black finishes so I was surprised to see it has the same finish as my beloved Elite. Fourthly, the power brick is now smaller as well. Also, there is no bright orange/amber light when you turn off the device. Fifthly, Wi-Fi is included with the Slim. You do not need to purchase an over-priced Wi-Fi dongle from Microsoft to access Xbox Live via wireless. And lastly, the hard drive is huge. After transferring my data from the Elite, I still had over 100 Gigs of space left on the Slim. All in all, the Xbox 360 Slim is practically a different device than the original Xbox 360 and Elite from all the improvements. If you're looking to upgrade from an original 360 or Elite then this is the way to go. If you're waiting for the One then I suggest you hang on to your money till November 2013. NOTE - I was considering buying the similarly priced Xbox 360 E (the 360 that looks like the Xbox One) but decided against it after watching a review of it on Cnet.Com. In the review they showed the optical audio out was removed, that it is noisier than the Slim and a tad larger as well. In addition, this Spring Bundle comes with two games (one on disc, Darksliders 2, and one via download code, Arkham City) and the 360 E does not. UPDATE 9/28/13 - After using the Xbox 360 Slim for over a week, I have noticed a potential issue: this device runs hot. Like lap top battery hot, if not hotter. So, you need to make sure all the vents on the Xbox have a decent amount of space around them to create good circulation. Other than that, I've had no problems or complaints about the Xbox 360 Slim.

After 6 years, our original white 360 red-ringed for the second time. Rather than give up my entire games collection and move to the XBone, I ran out to pick up black model and get back to some serious gaming time. Alas, it was not meant to be. Microsoft, in their (understandable) quest to reduce costs, has recently released the 'e' version of their oh-so-popular console. No big deal, unless you, like me, have an old HDTV that doesn't have HDMI. Yes, I know. I'll get one eventually. Amazon to the rescue. This Spring Value Bundle was the 'slim' model, produced through early 2013, and had the old output adapter that let me connect in HD through my other input jacks. Bonus: it also has an HDMI connector, so I'm ready for that new set anytime. Really. Any. Time. At. All. But to review the system: It's SO much quieter than the original version. Sometimes I wondered if the old box was revving up its cooling fans to take flight and make a break for it to avoid me dying again to another lowly henchman. This one? Almost silent. Wonderful quiet so that my occasional outburst upon the rare termination of my virtual life by a worthy crowbar-wielding opponent who obviously trained much harder than his 10,000 identical gang members was easily overhead throughout the house. Which prompted the rarely heard, "turn up the game so we can't hear you," call from another room. Seriously. This is a beast of a box. Tons of games, great feeds from Netflix and Amazon Video (and others, but those 2 dominate our video usage), and sweet, sweet silence. Enjoy. And watch out for those gang members. A few of them are extra tough.

I bought this as a present for Christmas. Honestly this saved my Christmas! I went to NUMEROUS stores to find a Xbox 360 and could only find the 4g and honestly most were more than the price of this system by $50.In my opinion you are wasting your money on a 4g xbox because so many games require storage to the system and not to a memory card. Anyway, I lucked into finding this bundle and for the price it was unbeatable by the 10+ stores I researched! To top it off the product works great with no issues whatsoever! I received the product so quickly and there was no extra shipping fee! It is product like this that makes it worth being an amazon prime member! Thank you for saving Christmas!

I used to spend time with my 8 year old son. He would get home from school, we would do his homework together, then we would watch an Avengers or Airbender cartoon together before I made supper for us. Now, he gets home from school and is immediately on the XBox with the headset on and is playing with his friends. Thanks for ruining my relationship with my son, Microsoft. 5 stars.

As expected, this is a fully functional, if refurbished, XBox 360 S model, or "Slim". Works great. It is clearly refurbished (does not come in an original box, and there was an old wifi network in the network configurations) but otherwise it appears to be fully reset, works great, is quiet, no issues. HDD works great; used data transfer cable to put my data from my old Pro model on there, no issues. Came with 2 physical game cases, a power adapter & cable, HDMI cable, AV cable, and standard 360 controller. I used my own HDMI cable, but otherwise everything seems to work fine.
