FOR 120-POUND DOGS TOO!
I think one of my German Shepherds wanted me to review these pads because on the very first night, there was a major accident. The pad did its job perfectly. The dog must have thought the pad as good as grass because he dug in and scratched after the event. His nails had NO EFFECT on the pad at all...and I'm talking about a 120# dog here. Lots of digging power. True, the pad isn't quilted but that didn't matter. It didn't bunch or scrunch, even after Liebling did his worst. And the pad held up. I've tried a number of different brands of disposable pads and none approach the quality of this one. No comparison. In desperation, I even resorted to the excellent Sahara Extra-Absorbent Washable Underpad. Those worked well with an elderly relative but are a real pain with a large breed dog. Disposable is the only way to go and McKesson is it. Really outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

While it looked like it made some of the cloth-like material MIGHT have ...
We just got the whole case today. I opened one of the packages and brought out one of the pads. At FIRST, I thought that this might have less inside material than some of the green ones that I have seen in hospitals and elsewhere. Concerned on absorbency, I decided to test it rather than find out later and have to change a whole bed. So I took it outside and used a measuring cup and poured two full glasses (16 Fluid Ounces) of water right smack in the middle of it. While it looked like it made some of the cloth-like material MIGHT have come up (partly due to the direct poor from a full standing position), when I lifted the entire pad, no where did it leak and there was ZERO water underneath on the concrete I laid the pad on. When I folded it up, it continued to absorb in the other areas, that water was not poured on. The pad was heavier and retained ALL OF THE WATER. While I can't say I have yet to test it live with a sick relative's incontinence, I can say that my direct pour of 16 oz. of water was MORE THAN SUCCESSFUL and I am quite happy. I feel these pads will handle more than what I bought them for and will probably handle what you need them for!

The best
I've tried the rest for my incontinent aunt. This absorbs the most, fewer spills. I won't try another type regardless of price, it's not worth the hassle.

The REAL Deal!!!!
These are awesome. I've tried so many brands. All leak through, under, side roll off, etc. These DO NOT LEAK ANYWHERE. Unless you go too close to the edge, of course..Buy these, you Finally won't be taking a chance. If I could give 10 *'s I would..I am so relieved after 3 yrs of failed liners, some more expensive than others, to have tried these. For people issues or pet liners. I use them for pet purposes..Thick cottony like, Not quilted cover, those I used most, thinking the cotton like unquilted type weren't good. The cotton like fill, unquilted type is the Best type to me now. Uniform fill, no empty areas. Thicker than any I've Ever tried. No leaks at all.

Perfect for the Bedridden Elderly!
These pads are perfect for the elderly that are bed ridden. They are larger than the typical under pads, so they give you more protection. Because they are disposable, it saves on laundry. If you are not a home care giver, then you probably won't appreciate that so much. Stay at home care givers for the elderly are saints who have sacrificed their own careers to help a loved one be able to live at home. They stay very busy and rarely have time for to do any thing for themselves. Being able to wash one less sheet everyday is a Godsend. The price (100 pads for $33.25) is excellent. That is just $.33 per pad! And 100 pads will last about three months! Because these pads are designed to absorb the liquid and pull it away from the surface, the bed ridden loved one can rest in dry peace. I am very satisfied with this product!

Very absorbent, perfect for my dog
These pads do exactly what they say they'll do. My Miniature Poodle was recently diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. He pees every 2-3 hours and it is a large amount of urine for a 15lb dog. I had tried several different pads but needed a larger size and an economical price. As you can see in the pictures the pad absorbs well and the urine does not leak through. This was very important to me as I live in an apartment and need to protect the carpet and minimize odor. I would definitely recommend this pad to others.

Great for the price and get the job done!
These are Awesome for what I have used them for! I use them for puppy pads, they are huge for that, which gives the puppy/dog more room to do their business and less of a mess because they may have turned and missed the pad walking around trying to find the perfect spot. I have also used these with home bound patients when I was a personal care giver, I would put these on the bed under them at night to protect the bed from getting wet, if their diaper leaked and they worked perfectly for that as well. They are thin but absorb well and get the job done and this is a great price for 100 pads, if the price stays in this range, I will continue to buy them monthly. I highly recommend them. The picture I provided is in use as a puppy pad and as you can see there is more room to use, sometimes I cut the unused sections off and throw away the used part and use the clean part again as extra protection on top of a new pad and this way I save even more. I would not use the small part by itself, because the pup/dog is use to the larger area to do their business, using the small part alone may confuse them and create a mess in the floor.

Holding 10 cups of water / dry underneath!
Received these mats today, first thing I did was lay one flat on my dry counter and slowly poured 10 cups of water on it. The counter is dry and the water is contained. Of course there will be pressure from a body on it in real life use but there will be no where near 10 CUPS OF LIQUID! Very impressed and excited to finally have a dry mattress underneath these!!

Great pads for people and puppies!!!
Since I first wrote my review some things have changed. I started finding these moved around too much for my care person and switched to large fabric style that stay in place. And we got puppies. The remainder were awesome for the puppies. Being large helped the puppies not miss the pad. They’re quite absorbent. I was able to start the puppies off by covering part of the floor of their x-pen with these large pads. Absolutely perfect. Now that we’re jumping out of our x-pen, poddy training is having a setback but these pads have been fantastic. The puppies tried to shred them of course and were unsuccessful. The cats try to cover the puppy business by moving the pads around and with some pads that has made messes worse but these pads are too large for the most “helpful” cat to completely rearrange so messes are not so “rearranged”. I forgot I use these for travel. That was a great use. Original review: These are great pads. They are large and absorbent and durable. They protect the mattress very well. They are also excellent for travel. I always keep some in my car for incidents that a family member, including the furry kind, may have.

hold fluid well, even a gush
They are large, they hold fluid, and they do it so well that even if the pad sits in the garbage for some days it won't stink. The only negative I've found is that these are heavier (as a case) than I expected. Other than that... they're great. I used these for an older cat who had a bladder problem (eventually solved, so we don't need them any more). If she hadn't tried to cover her pee (by clawing the pad) it would have been perfect. She put holes in the bottom, so it leaked a little bit, but that's not the fault of the manufacturer by any stretch of the imagination! I tested one by putting it in the tub & peeing on it myself, and there were no leaks. Even when I picked it up to put it in the trash, the gel crystals had absorbed & held all the fluid.
