Power Tool Batteries

I was very happy to see that Amazon carried these rechargeable batteries for my power tools, that still work great by the way. My old batteries just go to the point that they did not charge up very well and was not at their full potential to do the job that I needed them to do. I have 1 of the 4 batteries that I can still get almost a full charge. Having these 2 new batteries is a god send. I can get my most of my trimming done with just one battery. Makes my work so much easier! The price was right too, I hope to be able to use these batteries for several years.

Extra batteries get me tilling!

These batteries breathed new life into my 18v mini tiller. Now that I Ave these two extra batteries I can till my whole garden!

Wow! Great Power!

Much better chainsaw after changing to these batteries. They last much longer than the original batteries and have more power. I've got both the B&D pole chainsaw and the regular. My wife and I used these to trim along our drive cutting magnolia and cedar trees, and couldn't believe the extra power. We almost hired someone to do this since the saws never seen to cut the bigger stuff, but did great this time, saved a bunch on not hiring a tree trimmer service.

Two pack saved money

I have many B & D tools and use batteries a lot! They usually last me about two years. Some last less and some more. There doesn't seem to be consistency. I look for the batteries on sale or in a two pack. I recycle the old ones and have probably recycled at least six in the last two years. When I get a new battery I label it with the date I put it into service. This helps me know how long I will probably have before replacing it.

chargers

Though I knew it had no chargers, you would think that for the price you pay (A whopping $60) they would throw in the chargers that are probably factory bought for about $3 each. So, before you click the BUY button, make sure you know it comes with no chargers. You will have to buy that on your own. The item was delivered on time, the packaging was excellent, probably packaged at the factory itself. Batteries are charging as we speak, lets see if they work tomorrow.

My three 2010 batteries were not holding a quality charge any longer. I bought this twin-pack and now I'm back in business! The battery-operated trimmers definitely do require multiple batteries to get the job done. My yard is not big, but I need at least two to get my yard done, sometimes more (I had three from 2010 that I was using until they stopped holding a decent charge). Benefits of a battery operated trimmer include no cord and no heavy gas, but the con is definitely the battery life and charge. I am glad I was able to find these on Amazon. They are not cheap, but cheaper than a new unit and I do not dread trimming anymore. When I had the gas unit, it was so heavy and cumbersome, the battery unit is so much more manageable. I do love it.

Fast to charge and long lasting

Batteries really charged quickly and lasted a long time so I could actually finish my yard work. I initially wanted only to purchase the charger ( Black & Decker BDFC240 9.6 Volt to 24 Volt Battery Charger For NST1024 String Trimmer And NHT524 Hedge Trimmer) to go along with another charger I already had, but decided that additional batteries wouldn't hurt and I am so glad I did. No worries at all as I will always have a spare charged battery - the older ones were getting a little weak anyway. Both batteries charged from brand new in less than an hour!

Plenty of juice for my battery operated lawn care tools!

I had my previous NiCd batteries for 8 years! They both started failing last year. I cycle the two as I need them, when one dies I swap out and use the other one. I placed the order for these two replacement batteries. I must say I received them a few days after placing the order. I am able to edge the front driveway grass, trim near the entire perimeter of my yard on one battery now! One important note: Some reviewers complained about about short use time after charging, When you receive this battery or batteries make sure you initially charge it/them fully for 9 hours! If you don't do the initial charge correctly your usage time will be very short!

Strong power with new batteries

These batteries are the perfect replacement for my previous batteries. I had purchased a B&D trimmer that came with 2 batteries about 2-3 years ago. This year, the batteries seemed to lose their charge quickly at times. I read reviews and comments online to realize that the batteries are usually only good for 2-3 years. So I figured it was type to look for new batteries and recycle the older ones. These batteries charged in the normal time frame. When I went to use them, they easily ran 15-20 minutes with continuous running while I trimmed and edged my 1 acre property. The batteries gave the trimmer enough power to go through some thicker brush as well. Definitely recommend these are a replacement for older batteries or even an extra set.

Great to have extra batteries!

How nice it is to have extra batteries! My hedge trimmer came with only one battery and would never get through all of the hedges on one charge. These batteries work great so far. (I have only used one of them once, but they got more of the job done then the older battery)
