I have a Silhouette but I greatly prefer this mat to the Silhouette cutting mat. The Cricut mat seems sturdier and has better grip. I felt like my Silhouette map lost it's grip pretty quickly after I started using it. The Cricut mat has slightly different measurements than the Silhouette mat, but I cut a tiny bit off of the top and left hand margins and now it works great.

Essential Mat for the Basics

Works well with cardstock and vinyl! I have not tried it with any other materials. These mats do seem to attract pet hair. I have not tried cleaning them yet, but they have lasted as long as I have expected (so far).

I've had my Cricut mat for the longest time now. It is warped on the edge. Because it is warped on the edge, it no longer feeds properly into my Cricut. I needed to purchase a new set of mats. I decided to purchase this set of mats on Amazon. The mats arrived in two days and they were price lower than some of the other areas that I have seen online. The mats are your standard mats with medium stickiness. The mats worked perfectly and I am glad to get back to work. I highly recommend purchasing your mats from Amazon because they will arrive quickly.

works great with silhouette

Purchased for my silhouette cameo. Definitely a tougher thicker mat than my silhouette mat and MUCH cheaper. If you want your grid lines to match up you have to trim it down because the borders are a bit larger than the silhouette mat. In my opinion they loose their stick much faster than silhouette mats but with a mixture of Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over and water it will be good a new. These mats STINK it goes away after a while. Be sure and let it air out before first use or you will end up with a headache!

Works great for my silhouette cameo.

I have been using these mats for quite a while with my silhouette cameo. I find that they are very compatable, especially when I trim just a bit off of the top to match the measurements of the silhouette mat. The price is my main reason for using these. You can get two mats for almost half the price of one silhouette brand mat. I use heat transfer vinyl, and the stickiness of these mats are perfect for that. I have never had an issue with them tearing my vinyl. If you find that the stickiness has diminished, it's very easy to gently wash and air dry to regain it. I will most likely keep using these over the silhouette brand, unless they decide to come down on their prices

came as expected. Comes with 2 mats. Maybe it was me, but I thought it was only one mat. But there are two. I think the standard grip of Cricut mats are too sticky for paper. Vinyl it works great because vinyl has a smooth backing paper. But cardstock or thick paper, I had the worst time getting it off. But I saw a tip to make it a little less tacky, take a lint free shirt and lay it on the board and pull off a couple times and that should take off that extra amount. I have used my mat maybe 3-4 times now, and I think the stick is about right now. At least for vinyl which is what I use it for the most.

Great size

Love this! I don’t know that it’s very easy to clean, I imagine it’s actually hard to get anything off any of these sheets though. I have a silhouette and my first mat that came was a 12x12 and got so dirty so fast! I tried to clean it and ended up rinsing all the sticky off! I love the length of this, thought it would be too long....it’s not! It’s perfect and I can cut so much at once

these are great! The only thing I don't like about them ...

For the price, these are great! The only thing I don't like about them is they have a VERY strong chemical smell when you first open them. I was afraid everyone in my house would be high. Though the smell did go away within 24 hours. I would buy them again, I'd just make sure to open my windows or have a fan going while I used them for the first time.

Quality is great. Adhesive is great, sticks but not overly sticky

I needed to purchase more cutting mats for my new Cricut Explorer One since I've been using it so much. You can never have too many cutting mats though when you do a lot of vinyl or scrap-booking with your Cricut machines. Quality is great. Adhesive is great, sticks but not overly sticky. I've had mats in the past that was so sticky it ripped my scrapbook paper. The adhesive on these mats are just the right stickiness. It's not meant for paper thinner than card stock though. Even though it's standard adhesive, it can still rip through some scrapbook materials.

I love that they're more affordable than silhouette mats too

These work PERFECTLY with my Silhouette Cameo 2. I trim them down to match the size of the silhouette mats but it's not necessarily important to do so. I always desticky mats before using, especially when using with cardstock, and these need it as they are very sticky. Even desticky if you are using with adhesive vinyl because it will be hard to remove the backing from the mat if you don't. I love that they're more affordable than silhouette mats too. Great mats, I will purchase again.
