Great quality coconut flour. Very finely ground makes it great for a replacement to wheat flour. If you plan on baking with this make sure you know that coconut flour will absorb much more water than wheat flour so you will need to suppliment that with more water/eggs in the recipe. A quick search online for coconut flour recipes will get you started. 5 lbs of coconut flour will last you a very long time since you don't need as much of this in a recipe. I've made gluten free banana bread and pizza crust with this and had a great tasting product. I would suggest using this over alomond flour when possible b/c it is much cheaper and does a good job as a substitute for wheat. Pros: Good wheat substitude Much cheaper than almond flour finely ground resealable pouch Cons: Absorbs a lot of fluid in the recipe (Recipe can be adjusted to fix this)

Our home is now gluten free. I ordered a coconut flour cookbook and have tried a couple of the recipes. Baking with coconut flour requires a lot of eggs, which makes my baked goods high in protein rather than carbs. I made some coconut chocolate chip cookies that tasted like coconut macaroons with chocolate chips in them and a loaf of lemon bread with dried cherries and walnuts in it. Both were wonderful successes. I will always have this product in my house.

This is terrific flour and a wonderful value as well. Made coconut Macarons with it as soon as it arrived and it was great. I highly recommend.

This is the highest quality coconut flour I've come across. The color is almost white and the texture very fine, which makes it great for baking. It's uses are endless, healthy and guilt-free: - make raw, vegan bliss balls with soaked dates, apple sauce and add ins of choice (oats, chocolate chips, nut butter, hemp seeds, maple syrup... get creative!) - make gluten-free, vegan biscuits just with water and egg replacer - add to waffle, cake and pancake batters to yield a fluffier result Coconut flour is high in fiber and will soak up lots of liquid, so adjust your baking batter accordingly. It is also not glutinous (as in crumbly) so you will need either eggs or a starch as a binder. I like tapioca starch. Finally, when consuming larger amounts, you may find yourself having some healthy bowel movements!

Not all coconut flour is created equally. I have tried several different brands and Anthony's is definitely my favorite so far. To be honest, I initially purchased this for the price...which is INSANELY inexpensive for 4 lbs of flour. Because of the price I was honestly not expecting much...and I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality. It is a very finely ground flour...much finer than several others that I have tried. I was surprised at how much of a texture difference this caused in my baked good...much closer to the texture of traditional flour than the Lets Do Organic brand I had been using. I am incredibly happy with this coconut flour, and even moreso happy with Anthony's brand in general...I have purchased several products from them and this is just another in a long line of top notch products. As others have said...because coconut flour is very dry, when using it in baked goods you will need to add more 'conditioners' to the recipes...such as an extra egg, more water, etc. I usually reduce the called for amount of regular flour by at least a fourth...for every cup I sub a scant 3/4 cup of the coconut. For those who are on the Trim Healthy Mama plan, this flour works awesome in Briana's Baking Mix![...]

We are a big fan of Anthony's products. The quality is second to none - everything is non-GMO, gluten-free, etc and all of it certified. The texture is fantastic, the shipping quick, the price per pound cannot be beat from all the research we've done trying to be keto on a budget, and in the case of the coconut flour, it is nicely fragrant. The difference between this and other brands can be seen immediately after opening the bag (but don't look at the bottom :) ) by the color (not yellowish or even worse, slightly brown) but a nice, clean off-white color and a definite coconut aroma. It is finer ground than the products from the bigger suppliers, which means in incorporates nicer and gives a better texture in baked goods. We now only purchase Anthony's products for the items we use that they provide, no other brand will be in my kitchen. Amazon and Anthony's wanted so badly for me to test these that they let me search and research them independently, shop around for the best price, place my order, and pay for them out of my pocket with no compensation of any kind. In other words, outside of my order history, they have no idea I got them nor do I suspect they really care :). So, no, I didn't not get this for free or a discount in return for an honest review.

Can I just say that everyone should buy flour from this seller. I'm serious; this is my go to for all my flour needs. My husband and I eat the Paleo way, and so recipes can call for an assortment of flours; I have acquired quite the collection. I have compared so many brands of flour and ultimately these ones are best quality, exactly as advertised, best price for amount, and a really good size. I honestly don't buy my flour in store anymore - it's legitimately half price here in some cases! 4 lbs of coconut flour for this price!? YES! If you use coconut flour even as often as one every two weeks then this is most definitely worth the buy. I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Coconut flour only stays good for about 6 months, so I keep mine in the freezer. Which I would highly recommend if you're not likely to use it all within 6 months. It's organic, and delicious. I replace a lot of flour in a recipe, with a mix of this and some other healthier flours I have. I don't usually use bleached flour from the supermarket for anything. I pretty much converted to flours I make myself and this flour. I highly recommend this pure organic coconut flour!

If you are gluten free and grain free like I am, you will eventually end up with a nice collection of recipes calling for almond or coconut flour. Or both. I have this weird thing going with coconut - I don't dislike it, but I really don't like it either. The taste is okay, but I dislike the smell. That is one of the great things about this flour: it does not hit you over the head with that weird coconut smell. The flour is very finely milled and is a lovely light color. Locally it is very expensive to buy coconut flour, and the stores only carry one or two brands, which I totally understand. They probably don't sell a lot of it, and at the prices they are charging they won't! This flour is a great buy, because the price is very reasonable, the flour is easy to bake with, it tastes good, and you won't need a second mortgage to keep it in stock. I do not go through this as quickly as I go through almond flour, but it stores easily in the freezer. I don't generally use a lot of it, but there are so many recipes that call for a few tablespoons, that it is a good item to have. It might take me more than a month to use it, but I will enjoy everything I make from it. I am so glad that I discovered this brand.

Ok, this has to be the fluffiest, most powdery, smooth coconut flour I've EVER used! It's really hard to find a fine powder coconut flour for recipes. Yes, you can stand there and blend away your more textured flour to make it more powdery, but let's be real, who wants to do that every time they use the flour? Didn't think so! I'm on a low carb diet and use this on the daily. It mixes so much better than the Bob Mills brand I've used in the past and there's barely any clumps when mixing this into wet ingredients. I've noticed if this coconut flour has clumps, when you let it sit for a few moments the clumps break up at the surface by themselves, at least mine does. Seriously, BEST COCONUT FLOUR EVER! I'll never switch back from this lol
