Super Useful for Med Students

Not quite a must-have for every medical student, but if you do get it, you WILL make use of it. Obviously, the main benefit is as a hard surface to write on. Specifically, I have found this is very very useful for taking down notes on patients while they're talking to you, or for taking down notes from attendings while you're rushing through hospital rounds. I didn't really use the reference charts printed on my clipboard, but that was mainly because I bought this after I had memorized everything mentioned on them. Still definitely useful as a quick reference if it's your first time in the hospital and you don't have the time to fumble around with a smartphone/book.

Durable Clipboard, Fits into Whitecoat (and most Scrubs) Pockets

Amazing clipboard! Used this throughout my clinical rotations, and it held up perfectly! Can hold a lot of paper, ideal for a student and of course the charts on the front and back were very useful! Fits easily into a whitecoat pocket, and usually into scrub pockets as well. Will definitely continue to use this during my residency and I recommend it for anyone about to start clinicals!

Handy for more than just the charts.

I've been using this clipboard for about a month, now. It functions as described. I don't abuse it, so I can't speak to the durability of the aluminum rivets holding the top to the bottom, or the service life of the clip portion beyond saying they work as described. As a critical care nurse, I prefer the MD version over the RN version, but I can see the utility of both. As a nursing student, the RN version would probably be the better choice. As a working RN, there are only a few pieces of the RN version I find helpful - I use the rest of the hints daily, so they are second-nature to me. The MD version actually helps me with the less commonly used medical nuggets of knowledge I might need on any given day. Just my 2-cents worth.

Awesome Clipboard

This is a great clipboard for medical/healthcare students/doctors/nurses/etc. Folds perfectly to fit in the pockets of white coats and most scrub pockets. Super convenient when taking notes while walking or standing in patient rooms. Love the fact that there are tables and charts present for reference - this has come in handy several times for me. The clipboard is super durable, i've had it for >6 months with heavy use in many emergency rooms and it has not broken or scratched. Many of my classmates had this clipboard and I was unsure if i should give in or not due to the price, but definitely worth it!

Worth it for Clinical Rotations!

As a medical student, this has been my ideal organizing/academic tool during my internal medicine and my surgery rotations. It provides quick reference to laboratory values, common clinically used respiratory/renal equations, and breakdown of physical exam assessments, this was exactly what I needed to organize all my important documents and study resources, and it fits perfectly in my white coat so that I don't have to lug around a large clipboard everywhere I go! Great buy!

Pricey, but worth it.

It annoyed me to pay almost $30 for a clipboard especially since I'm still living on a student's budget, but it was worth it! This clip board fits perfectly in a white coat pocket. The folding design makes it more HIPAA friendly when it's lying next to you as you work on something else. Plus I love the quick notes on the outside. I used them more than once when I was getting pimped during wards.

Nice, portable, makes me feel organized.

Perfect size. I really like that I can fold it in half to carrying in my pocket, or to take less space when stored in my locker. A little pricey for what it is, but I splurged since it was gift money.

excellent as expected. it does the exact job. fits exactly in my medical coat pocket as expected, and if u have small amount of papers it will not bend them to see the folding scars. LOVE IT.

Very useful!

I am a nursing student and I needed a clipboard that I could fold and put in my pocket. I tend to forget my stuff when I leave it lying on a table, so I bought this so I can keep my papers folded and inside my scrub cargo pants. So far, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I also like that it has useful stuff on the clipboard like lab values, etc. It really does come in handy when your at the hospital. Also, the clipboard is made of sturdy metal and seems really durable. I have no doubt it can put up to some abuse. I definitely recommend this clipboard to any nursing student!
