Love whitening but they’re a little harsh for sensitive gums

Searched high and low for a toothpaste that won’t irritate my gum line. Love whitening but they’re a little harsh for sensitive gums. This one is a nice balance. Seems like the whitening works better than Colgate whitening. I dip it in a little charcoal powder sometimes too.

Cannot say enough good things about this toothpaste

Cannot say enough good things about this toothpaste! Definitely tried a few different brands before and have come to really enjoy the taste, feel, and cleansing action of arm&hammer. This stuff is strong and cleans teeth well. The added benefit of whitening is great too! Not sure how much of a difference in color is noticeable, but teeth definitely have a shine and polished look after use. Mouth definitely feels cleaner and fresher with regular use.

My Favorite!

I've been asked why my teeth are so white despite LOTS of coffee. Do yourself a favor and buy this toothpaste. While you're at it, buy a philips sonicare (the basic original model is fine) You'll feel like you just came from the dentist without the poking and jabbing from the hygienist.

Appeased dentist and whitened lifelong yellow teeth

My dentist told me that I needed to switch to baking soda toothpaste as part of an effort to maintain the health of my teeth. I picked up this brand on a whim to appease my disappointed dentist and give myself the peace of mind that I was following his advice. Given every other whitening product I've tried, including various crest/colgate products (toothpastes, rinses, strips), never delivered, I assumed that this toothpaste would be the same and bought it simply because of the dentist recommendation. While I cannot speak to whether my teeth are actually healthier (although I haven't had a cavity since I switched 6 months ago, which could mean nothing) my teeth are noticeably whiter. Several people, unsolicited, have actually complimented the color of my teeth since using this product, which is shocking because I've had very yellow teeth since I was a kid. I've tried everything else, short of getting my teeth professional whitened, and thought my teeth were impervious to color change. With no other changes to my dental hygiene regime, there was a noticeable change after a month and half of twice daily use. My teeth are now a natural white color - not a crazy blinding white, which I actually prefer. NOTE: -Texture is a little gritty. A bit like what you'd imagine if you dumped baking soda into your toothpaste. The scrubbing action makes my teeth feel cleaner. -Flavor is tolerable but not great. It's a very bland, almost bitter, flavor with a hint of mint. It takes a bit of getting used to but now I don't notice it. -Whitening power - natural white not blinding white in my experience. It probably depends what color your teeth are naturally. I am an avid coffee drinker and still noticed a difference. I highly recommend this product based on it's ability to whiten my whitening-product resistant teeth and because it makes my dentist happy.

Love how clean my teeth feel after

Compared to the Crest 3D white and the Colgate whitening toothpastes this is SO MUCH BETTER. The other ones (that I tried interchangeably for about 5 years) would feel like I never really cleaned my teeth. I kept getting tartar build up on the inside of my lower gums. Once I changed to this toothpaste I feel like I have my teeth polished after every use. No more weird grainy feeling. Sure, you have to do your part in being consistent with teeth hygiene but this is a great product if you're looking to feel clean, polished, and pearly. Definitely will stick to this paste after years of searching for a good paste with whitening.

Was not sure what to expect. Ordered my normal Crest Complete Scope (MityFresh), which I like as well and this brand. OMG, my mouth just fell in luv with Arm & Hammer Advance White toothpaste!!! Plus when I brush I let the paste set on my teeth for about 3 minutes before rinse and spit. My teeth & mouth feels clean, fresh, and teeth looks great! Plus my breath smells good for most of the day! #ImHooked!!!

I love this toothpaste! I've been using it for years and will do anything to avoid switching to another brand! Naturally white smile, without looking fake. I use this in conjunction with Listerine Pre-Brush Rinse. Love love love!

Yes I recommend this toothpaste

I’ve been using this toothpaste for about 14 years. I use to use Colgate, but after moving in with my husband I switched over. In the beginning I remember it tasted a little salty but nothing to major that you can’t get use to. Arm & Hammer use to put a description slip inside each toothpaste box that would show a teeth whitening color progression. They discontinued putting it in about 5 years back. It really does whiten your teeth at least 2 shades whiter. My teeth weren’t too bad to begin with. My husband swears it whitened his teeth 3 or 4 shades. Overall its not harsh or irritating on your gums or teeth. I remember Colgate Total would leave my mouth feeling numb and my orange juice would taste sour if I drank it right after brushing my teeth. But not with this toothpaste. It has a great taste. And it’s a great value. I’m so glad that now Amazon has this as a subscribe and save item. Much better price then Walmart or Target.

Good oral hygiene is super super important and having a white healthy smile and with that goal in mind, a baking soda based toothpaste is the only way to go and this is one brand that I particularly like for that reason. Not only do my pearly whites feel clean, it’s visibly apparent. Smile 😃. Thank You Arm&Hammer. My number one go to toothpaste for decades and this price point ain’t bad either.
