After a week- drastic change
I cannot describe how amazing this lotion is. We use it on our chocolate labs paws every night and the difference is unbelievable. All winter long she has had cracked paws and she constantly bites at them. Because of how well Burt Bee's human lotions work, I thought I'd give this a shot. Best idea I've had. She rarely licks it off, her paws are so smooth and she is much happier walking on snow and ice after just a week of use. Highly recommend this.

I think our pups love the lotion!
Especially our pug! Because of the crap wintry weather NYC is known for, salt and other gross stuff is everywhere. We needed lotion to make sure our three dogs didn’t suffer from cracked and dried paws. Our pug, especially, tends to have drier pads than the other two, so it’s been great to give her some relief. Something to keep in mind, the lotion is more liquidy than it is creamy, so you’ll really need to massage and rub the lotion in to make sure it dries completely.

Works even in adverse conditions
It really works, when you can get it on. My dogs pads get dry from walking on sidewalks. They are all rough and scratchy to touch so they must be uncomfortable to him. I try to use the Burts Bee's to help because it really works with just one application. The thing is my pup isn't one who likes for you to do things to his feet so he's always on the lookout. Lately I have been waiting till he's asleep beside me then putting a little on my hands he immediately perks up and gets suspicious so I have to pretend it's for me until he relaxes again. "Nothing to see here just moisturizing my hands." Then I strike like a ninja and swipe it on a paw or two before he escapes and yet with such a haphazard application it still works, so I can only guess if you had a compliant dog instead of an insane one it would be amazing.

Light-weight but very effective lotion.
Very soothing.. My dog's pads are now soft as when she was a little puppy! And she loves having her feet massaged with this lotion. Only negative is that she likes the taste -- perhaps due to the olive oil in it (??) -- and tries to lick it off as I'm applying it. Once it has soaked in, she keaves it alone, however. I woikd recommend this product.

I like this it's more like a lotion but seems to ...
Works well bought this and mushers secret. I like this it's more like a lotion but seems to do the trick. My dogs feet do not slide on the floor after putting this on like they do with the mushers secret and I like that I can put on their noses too. Will buy again. No cracked pads this winter and lots of snow and ice

Safe, effective, and relieving our dogs’ Desert dry noses, and paws.
My rescue pit bulls, lab retriever mixes are not fans of lotions. New rules- now they are tolerant of this fabulous product. We noticed an immediate relief to dry winter nose syndrome. Because I introduced my beloved dogs to this with respect, and honored their initial reluctance, let them get used to the new ritual, we had cooperative, and happy dogs. Softer noses, and and paw pads. This is such a good hydrator & I trust Burt’s Bees, looove their natural products, and have faith in safety, quality of the brand. Safe? Yes! Worth trying? You decide. My dogs the ultimate judges, are better with and one really likes it- even on his nose. I don’t like cold lotion on my skin, so thought I would wash my hands, dry, and rub the Burt’s in my hands, warm it up before applying and THAT sealed the deal. No shying away. Our boys don’t try to lick, wipe, rub it off,and it really benefits their dry noses, and paws. No staining Their dog beds, blankets , flooring, rugs, our high fashion home furnishings are no adverse reactions. This is the greater Palm Springs area, very dry climate & especially dry & irritating in winter. This new product really helps by balancing out my babies’ parched snouts and infuses moisture, and adds natural shine to the top where the velvety fuzzy soft skin meets fur. My dogs look, feel better!

Healed My Fur Baby's Paws in One Day
My dog is a horrible paw chewer. He chews them all the time. My vet thought it was because he was allergic to the outdoors, but that only helped a little. I bought this for my dogs to help with the summer heat since they like to be outside, and the paws of the dog in question have gone from sandpaper and red to smooth and flesh colored! And we've only had it for 24 hours! I am definitely going to keep buying this, as he hasn't chewed his paws since and actually lets me touch his paws now. I also bought Musher's Secret Dog Paw Protectant or whatever it's called to go with it so that when they play outside I don't have to worry about their paws getting burned. I haven't tried that stuff yet but I hope to try it soon.

Great Product
My husky has dry paws and I apply these to her paws every night. I have seen an improvement in her paws, but I have to make sure she doesn't lick the product off. She has licked the product before but she has not had any negative reaction to it, but it was a small amount though.

Great product for dry paw pads and dry noses!
My poor Gary gets cracked paw pads and his nose sometimes is a little dry, so I use this lotion and it does wonders! He doesn't mind it, but he does sort of lick at it because it smells/tastes good apparently. I know I could use coconut oil, but he would definitely just lick that off because it tastes too good. This works for what I need and he likes it without wanting to lick it all off. I enjoy Burts Bees products for dogs (I use their shampoo, too!) and Gary seems to like them as well. I definitely recommend this to any dog parent.
