I love the Very Black

This has been my go to mascara for years. I love the Very Black. It's easy to apply, although the first couple applications with a new tube can be a little cakey. It lasts all day. My favorite is the wand with the little orange spikes. It keeps my eyelashes separated, which is not easy since they are so long. My only complaint is it comes off easily when wet. Sometimes I forgot I have it on and will go swimming. I'll come out of the water with black streaks, but that's expected since it's not waterproof. Regardless, this is a great product and I'll be ordering it as long as they make it.

I really really like this mascara

I really really like this mascara...I've been a mascara snob the last four years and only used the high end brands but I decided to give this a try.I feel like this is just as good or even better than a lot of the high end brands..I'm so over paying 22 or 23 dollars for a tube of mascara when I am too lazy to even wear makeup every day....what I like about this mascara is that it is dark black and doesn't turn that chalky looking ashy black like some mascaras do after wearing for a few hours...it is very volumizing which I need Help in that area and I have kind of long lashes anyway but I feel like I get enough lengthening effect as well. I think the wand works well enough for my bottom lashes which I struggle with because some of them are a little wonky... doesn't flake....I put a picture of my lashes up..keep in mind I am someone who kind of likes the somewhat clumpy look, but this is very buildable and doesn't just clump automatically if you aren't into that look... i have on 2-3 coats..For 5 or 6 dollars I'm sold!!!!

Best mascara out there -- Department store or Drugstore!

Of all the formulations, this one is by far the best. Of any department store brand, drugstore brand, I always come back to this one. It is a dark black, it goes on thick without clumping and provides a false-lash look with just 2 coats. Love it. I replace every 30-40 days to keep it fresh and healthy - as you should for any mascara!

Take it from a true make-up junkie!

First off, you should know that I'm a make-up junkie. I buy a lot of it and love to experiment...mostly because I'm always searching for the "Holy Grail" of everything! So I've been using this mascara for the last several years. Even during this time, I've purchased other brands from designer to drug store, just in case something better is out there. Well for me, there isn't. I honestly love this mascara. Sure the wand can be a PITA for many people...the tip is hard to reach corner baby lashes...and the tube seems to dry out quickly...BUT those issues are minor for me when I consider the fact that 1) it applies nicely without crazy clumps 2) it's buildable so if I really want those doll lashes I can add coat over coat and still look great 3) it doesn't flake all over my face 4) very affordable (purchased several least week for $2.29each w/prime shipping!) For the record, I have semi-long yet very thin, sparse lashes.

BEST Mascara on the market

I've been using this product for years now and it is hands down the best mascara that exists. It stays on all day and never needs to be re-applied. The brush is silicone/plastic/rubber (or something) which I think is what truly sets this apart. The mascara NEVER and I mean NEVER gets clumpy. The brush separates my lashes and evenly coats each one to make them look FULL and long. I also use the waterproof one when needed and it never comes off when swimming and works just as well to coat each lash. Not sure I will ever switch to another brand!

Covergirl Rocks

Read the blog of the Pioneer Woman who recommended this and said it was not a paid endorsement. Since she uses the product when filming her TV show thought I'd try it. First I love Cover Girl and have always used their Long and Lush Mascara, now Lashblast is my go too. I love water-based mascara as I like the no fuss removal. Last all day with no clumping. Wear contacts and no problem with flaking or smudging.

Goes on well

I really like this mascara. I've tried a few different ones lately and have settled on this one. I had a great mascara, but it didn't last long, so I started the tedious process of looking. At first the product seemed messy until I realized that I just need to make sure there isn't any excess product on the tip of the wand. Otherwise, the wand is a nice size and easy to handle. The product builds well without clumping and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. And it's lasting longer than the one I was using.

Probably magic

The mascara I wore the night I met my future husband... Not really. But the point is, this mascara is a miracle worker. It makes you lashes more than double in length and it really makes them pop. I would definitely base a religion around- er I mean reccomend this product to a friend, or enemy! Who doesn't want great lashes??

new packaging, same product

I’ve seen several people write in their review that they’ve been buying this mascara for years and the one they received from Amazon looks totally different - I had the same reaction when I received mine and was suspicious it was a fake. It turns out it’s simply Covergirl’s new branding. I checked their website (see photo) and this confirms it’s the real deal, just a new look! Great product.

Can’t believe how much I love it. I have been buying Benefit mascara (which I love) for a few years. I’ve tried cheaper brands to try and save money but, have never been happy. But this one! It goes on great . You can build without clumping. It doesn’t smear all day. Today I took a nap and it wasn’t smeared or crumbled when I woke up. The only thing I can say negative is, I wish the end of the brush tapered to a point. It’s a little difficult to get the corners of the eye. But I still can. Definitely buying this from now on!
