Love love love this mat! Takes the guesswork out of placement for cutting and etching on my Cameo.

I bought this mat as well as the silhouette Strippling/edging tool ( which DOES work with the cameo) to engrave some wedding favors for my guests. After setting up my phone calibration, it was super simple to place my pieces on this mat ( I did hold them down with painters tape as well ). I took a picture with my phone and uploaded it to my cameo, then arranged what I wanted to engrave on the image on my computer and it did the rest, precisely engraving exactly where I wanted it to! Awesome product! Takes the guesswork out of where to place things on a mat based on squares.

So fun to use and works perfectly

I used this PixScan mat for bulk postcards. I scanned the postcards on the mat and then used sketch pens to address the cards as well as write the body of the post cards. Worked perfectly every time. I had no issues. I can't wait to use it for my other projects!

Finally bought one.

I've had my Silhoutte Cameo for 2 years now and finally decided to try the Pixscan function. Took a lot of trial and error, but I think I've got it. Neat function and this mat made it possible. I don't think I ever wouldn't figured it out otherwise.

when it works, it’s great!!!

This is a great for using up scraps. But price could be better. It’s just a piece of plastic! A bit tricky to calibrate. Machine sometimes has trouble reading the registration marks. But when it works, it’s great!!!

This PixScan mat is so neat to use! I love the fact that by using this mat I can cut on small scraps of vinyl that I normally would have just thrown away because of the irritation of trying to place the designs correctly onscreen to cut on the scraps. The stickiness of this mat is even better than the regular cutting mats and I have started to use this mat in place of my regular cutting mat because of that. I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone with a Silhouette machine.

Best thing for your Cameo since sliced bread

I can't believe how quickly I received this mat. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and got it by 9:30 am today. This thing works great. After struggling with the registration marks with the print and cut feature and wasting a ton of printable vinyl I decided to give this a try. I cut the registration marks off the printable vinyl that I printed the day before but the machine would not recognize and put it on the PixScan mat and bang first shot it came out perfect. Can't tell you how pleased I am. (The photo still has the transfer paper on it)

Best addition to Silhouette ever!

Once you get past the learning curve, you'll LOVE the Pixscan mat! You can print anything, or cut out parts of patterned cardstock or paper, make stickers for planning, I can't even list all the things I've done. My favorite, though, is cutting out stamps so I no longer need to buy matching dies.

Great product, needs better instructions/tutorials.

Be careful, once you get this you will be a project fool. The software is easy to use once you go online and get some tutorials, it had no learning info with it. I have made a ton of things with it now and no problems, just seriously go online and search for some tutorials, will save you tons of headaches and time.

This mat literally SAVED MY HIDE!! I've been wanting a Cameo for years, and after taking on the task of helping my best friend create her baby's first birthday party theme and decorations, I finally had a reason to get one! I thought surely I'd be able to figure it out and use it for what I needed, but unfortunately, being so new to the machine and software, what I needed to do was so simple that it ended up being hard, lol, and I did not have much time to work with. The tutorials I was able to find online were all WAY above what I needed to do right away (someday, though...) and I ended up spending 2 completely sleepless nights trying to figure out how to make the simplest things possible, and only realized at absolute crunch time that I'd gone about it all completely the wrong way from the beginning, since I was using a design package that my friend had chosen from a website and not a Cameo design. The PixScan Mat was an Amazon suggestion at the time I bought the machine, and after watching the Cameo video, I thought it looked really cool and went ahead and added it to my order. As I sat in the wee hours of this precious baby's birthday trying to figure out how I was going to undo all of my hours of incorrect work and get the things I needed to cut to actually go through the Cameo and cut (not something I could've just done with scissors!), it finally occurred to me, I had the PixScan Mat! I whipped out my cell phone and snapped a pic of one of the million sheets of uncut card stock I had here and crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It WORKED, and it was SO SIMPLE!!! I had gotten so frustrated before that point, I actually went to my husband in TEARS of relief to show him my perfectly cut card stock that I was FINALLY able to accomplish with the PixScan Mat! So, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! You not only saved me, but you saved one sweet little baby girl's very first birthday party, too!! I look forward to learning the machine better and being able to do all of the amazing things that I saw in the MANY tutorials that I watched, but, being such a newbie and needing to do something right away with the machine like that, I am SO GLAD that I added the PixScan Mat onto my order, and I can't wait to see what else I can do with it, too! Seriously, how COOL is it to be able to just snap a pic with your cell phone and then create? Also, since I ordered the Cameo kit, I actually got two of their regular mats, and I have to say, I MUCH prefer the texture and stickiness (it's sticky enough to hold the materials in place well, but they come off SO much easier and I didn't need any tools to peel everything off the mat like with the clear ones... also, there were no teeny bits of card stock residue left behind on it afterward like I'm STILL having to try to peel off of the clear ones) of the PixScan Mat over the original ones, and I ran it through my machine about a million times that night/morning and it's still in perfect condition, so it must be pretty darn durable, and I can definitely see myself using that one a lot more than the others whenever possible. A GREAT concept, a GREAT product, and WHEW, am I glad I added THAT THING onto my order when I did, because I really don't know what I would've done without it in this situation! Thanks SO much for selling such a wonderful product and getting it to me so quickly... I had left it in its wrapping thinking it would be something fun to play around with at some point in the future, but I was in SO much trouble and so desperate to get the items made that I had promised my friend for that party, and I looked over in my panic and exhaustion and saw it sitting there and thought, "That is literally my ONLY hope to get any of this to work in time," and it was EXACTLY what I needed. It was also so easy to use, my fried, tired brain had NO trouble figuring it out and I was able to get what I had been attempting to do for 2 days to happen perfectly in just a matter of minutes. Not only that, but I ended up making even MORE items for the party than I originally intended because it was so fun and easy and quick to use once I got going! Thank you SO much for bailing me out of a REALLY tough spot and also making the birthday party a beautiful success! I can't wait to explore what all I can do with this mat now just for fun! :)
