Great Juicer
I think this is a great juicer, especially for the price (I paid 319 total). If you do a little youtube searching, you will find where to order it from. Look for John K. I don't know him, but he's been instrumental in helping me get better at juicing and in picking the right juicer for me. I'm a total convert, and though I don't often write reviews, juicing is something I'm passionate enough about to share my experiences: Juicers I've owned: Omega VRT 350 HD, Breville Juice Fountain, Green Star Elite (currently have along with the NC 800) The Omega VRT was the first juicer I bought, and I really enjoyed it. From the research I did, I decided to spend a little more and get a quality juicer. The yield seemed good, the pulp dry, and it easily juiced the carrots, apples, and spinach that were my primary staples of juicing at the time. I didn't think the clean up was too bad, but of course, I didn't know better. My big complaint at the time was how much pulp was in the juice. This machine produces a lot of pulp and straining it adds to the time and mess that juicing can bring. I had to put the VRT in storage due to a move (and subsequent deployment), so since I would be without the VRT for 7 months but able to use a juicer, I bought a Breville Juice Fountain refurbished from eBay for a little over 100 bucks. It wasn't the stainless steel version and had two speeds, although I found the slower speed for greens useless as it would simply fling the produce into the pulp bin. For a while, I really liked this juicer. It is super fast and it is....super fast. That's pretty much what these things are good for. No cutting, slicing, twisting, pulling, breaking, or bending necessary. Just put the entire bag of produce in there and Boom. It's juiced. Cleanup on the Breville was a little more laborious than the VRT and the top piece with the feeder is awkward if you have a small sink, but on the whole, it wasn't too bad. I also liked the pitcher that separated the foam from the juice. A very necessary accouterment since this juicer is a foam machine in its spare time. With the Breville, I started juicing more cucumbers, celery, and kale as I began to transition away from the carrot/apple beginner staples. Once I finally got the VRT out of storage and was settled in, I went back and forth about which one to keep. The Breville is such a time saver, but I could really taste a difference in the juice. The VRT made better juice, plain and simple. I can't quite explain it, but the the Breville's juice tasted more watery, regardless of what I juiced. If you do your research, you'll learn that 'oxidation' is probably the culprit as the centrifugal juicers blow lots of air into the juice. Whatever you want to call it, there is a difference in taste. So I kept the VRT, but by now, I was juicing more leafy greens than when I had it before. And the fatal flaw of the VRT is the clogging situation on the ejection spout. You can read about it or watch videos, but the bottom line is that it clogs when you use celery or other leafy vegetables. It's incredibly annoying. Incredibly. So annoying that I decided to get rid of it and go with the single gear masticating juicer, which finally leads me to the NC800: This juicer is amazingly easy to clean. By far the easiest I've dealt with. And having juiced for a little while, I can tell you that cleaning makes a difference. Juicing is a somewhat messy proposition in the first place, so the more you can reduce the prep and clean up time, the more time you'll be juicing and drinking the juice vs. the hassles of it. Granted, no amount of hassle should keep you from juicing, but it happens. The easier to clean, the better. This juicer is the easiest out there. The quality of juice is awesome. The pulp comes out really dry, and there's never any clogging or jamming of produce as there was in the VRT. There is still some pulp in the juice, but as I've gotten more into juicing, I don't worry about pulp so much anymore. I have come to like it actually. Still, it's not as much pulp as the VRT. The NC800 has a wider feed chute than the 8000 series, and I can say it makes life a lot easier. I also have a Green Star Elite (see below) and its feed chute is similar to the 8000 series. And it is much more of a time killer as you are doing more cutting of bigger veggies. Nothing horrible, but it does take more time. The pulp adjustment knob seems to work fine, and it's super easy to pop off yourself and push pulp through if it gets a little jammed. I find the pulp gets a little backed up if i'm juicing lots of soft stuff like cucumbers. I will caution that it does run hot after about 20 or so min of use, so be aware that the 30 min on, 10 min off is a good idea. Nothing to be alarmed about, but this is not an industrial juicer of course. Just FYI. In all, I love this juicer and would pick it over any of the others I've used or seen video reviews of. It juices the highest quality juice, gets good yield with minimal foam, and it incredibly easy to assemble, take apart, and clean. Would take this over the VRT any day. Finally, I also have a Green Star Elite. Just days after I bought the Omega, I found a once used GSE on Craigslist for $200 bucks. I couldn't pass it up as the are $529 new. I'm still trying to decide which one to keep, but I'm leaning towards the Omega just for ease of cleaning. The GSE probably gets a little better yield, but not by much (haven't done an official test yet), and the GSE is the most time consuming to deal with. It's a fun juicer, but takes a while to clean. Anyway, that's just so you know what I have/have had and what I'm comparing the NC800 to. The NC800 is a great juicer for those of you who are ready to take juicing up a notch from the starter Breville or are annoyed with the VRT's tendency to clog with leafy greens.

In absolute LOVE with this juicer
I bought this juicer because I've been having considerable GI issues and having a hard time digesting bulk foods during pregnancy. I have wanted one for years but finally had a good reason to pony up the cash and get one. Much to my amazement, it is now the most used and loved appliance in our kitchen and I am SO glad that we bought it!! It's the only appliance we have out on the kitchen counter all the time because we use it so much. My kids love to make carrot orange juices and pear zuchinni mango juice. I love to make greens juice with apple. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and such a pleasure to drink fresh pressed juices everyday! We are all noticing health benefits from consuming more fruits and veggies, and having happier tummies as well! Clean and chop your food nicely, go slow, and this juicer will work and work and work. We hand wash all the parts between each use and air dry them on the counter and then top rack dishwash the parts at night when we run the dishwasher. This thing not only juices, but makes nut butters, nut milks, baby food, minced garlic/onion and pasta noodles/breadsticks when you put in dough. Highly recommend getting one of these if you don't have one!! They are versatile, high quality, and amazing!

This juicer is awesome. Was researching for months and this one kept coming up as one of the best in chat forums and articles online. I really love it and it’s super simple to clean. I was concerned about plastic parts but it has a 15 year warranty do who cares, just buy one if you want to juice veggies or fruit. Haven’t tried wheat grass yet but that’s next!!

Seriously, Amazing
I purchased this juicer a few years ago after doing a lot of research and wanted to try going vegan. Previously, I had a cheap centrifugal juicer from target that made juice that tasted awful, separated right away, and had a TON of gross foam. Worst of all it was SO loud it sounded like a lawn mower, and I lived in a campus apartment with 3 other girls and felt really awkward about using it and waking up the entire building. So I took a chance and got this juicer even though it was way above my budget and I do not regret it at all, years later. The main reason I love this juicer is because it makes juice that tastes REALLY good. I couldn't stomach the stuff from my old juicer, but I actually crave the green juice I make with this one and look forward to having it. The juice it makes is such high quality, it doesn't separate even using alot of different produce (unless you leave it in the fridge for a while, but you can shake it back together and it stays) and it makes very little foam if any. Sometimes there is a TINY bit of pulp in the juice which doesn't bother me. Also, the pulp comes out SUPER dry, which never happened with my older juicer, which makes me feel like I am not wasting my fruit and vegetables. I also love this thing because it is just so easy to use and clean, its really simple. I find it a lot simpler and easier to clean than the old centrifugal I had. I also love that it comes with the different plates/attachments. The frozen banana ice cream with the blank attachment is amazing, way better than when you just put one in the blender. The last reason I love this juicer is because it is SO quiet, I can run this any time of day/night and not have to worry about bothering anyone, the noise is so minimal, perfect for apartment living. My favorite juice recipe to make with this (in the picture) is kale, romaine, carrots, apple, and grapes. If you do not like the taste of kale/green juice, throw some grapes in and it makes it taste amazing (I saw this in a video once and it is the best tip).

Very good yield on leafy greens and carrots
Very good yield on leafy greens and carrots. I wish Omega wasn't so expensive. I absolutely love Omegas warranty. They are easy to deal with, just call them and they give you A email to upload picture of broken piece, and they send A new piece no questions asked.

The Best Juicer I Have Owned
I have had centrifugal juicers before and they are messy(had stains on the ceiling), noisy, hard to clean, pulp is messy, and it is annoying to store. The Omega juicer is the complete opposite of the centrifugal juicers. It is extremely easy to setup, use, clean, and store. No juice or pulp goes flying across the room. It is much quieter so you won't wake up sleeping kids. The juice comes out with little to no foam and the pulp is dry as a bone. Folks who juice soft fruit and vegetables and do not alternate the hard and soft will complain that it doesn't juice well, but that means they did not read the manual and deserve it. Will try and update in a few months but for now the higher price is well worth it.

Best juicer for the $$
I love this juicer. I had a centrifugal juicer which did the job, but created a lot of waste. I then bought the $450 Kuvings large chute slow juicer thinking it would be faster with less prep and cutting, but it clogged quickly and could not handle hard vegetables like carrots or beets without stalling or finely cutting up veggies including kale, so the large chute is misleading, with the Omega being quicker overall with better juice yield for leafy greens and celery. It took about 90 minutes to generate a gallon of juice from prep to cleanup with the Kuvings vs about 55 minutes with this Omega. Both the Kuvings and my Big Mouth slow juicer are difficult and time consuming to clean. The Omega handles everything well, softer veggies like cucumbers and apples are juiced well, thanks to the adjustable setting for pulp extraction resistance. Even the Omega support people recommended this over the their best vertical juicer for leafy greens. It also makes great sorbet from frozen berries. Cleanup takes about 1-2 minutes tops, so I use it without hesitation and frequently because it cleans up so quickly.

Gets the best juice, minimal foam
I use this for everything. I use this for a very wide array so will break it down by each item below. Simply 5 stars because of the versatility of this. 1. Vegetable juice - Five Stars. This is unmatched. Gets the best juice, minimal foam, and highest yield. Also low speed is the best to extract juice vs. high speed which damages the juice. 2. Nut milk - Four Stars. I soak the almonds/cashews for 8 or so hours, dry them off, grind using the grinding accessory, and then I add purified water and put it back through using the juicing attachment. Removing 1 star because it doesn't remove all the nut pulp. It definitely saves a lot of time but I still have to use a nut bag after to make smooth milk. Having said that, it is delicious and the best ever almond/cashew milk I've ever had. 3. Coffee grinds - Five Stars. Use the grinding attachment. Done. Perfect and consistent. Works well with my Keurig reusable cup. I gave it 5 stars but others may dispute this based on their need for adjustable grinds. I don't...so 5 stars. 4. Ice Cream - Five Stars. This is my favorite. I put orange juice through, add a little sugar, and then I freeze it into popsicles. Send the popsicles through the grind attachment for instant sorbet. Nothing beats it when it's fresh out. Simply amazing. I even added some vanilla extract and almond milk to make Orange creamsicle sherbert. Also delicious 5. Ginger extract - I use this machine to extract ginger juice to make ginger tea. Does the job incredibly well and saves a massive headache of using the Vita Mix. 6. Long list of potential options with this machine. Seriously get it....you won't regret it!

Best juicer ever!!!
this is my 3rd juicer (i know i'm obsessed) my first was a breville which i loved and used for 2.5 years. when i saw that i was juicing all the time i decided to graduate to a coldpress juicer so i purchased the vrt 350 and i love it but it still was not what i was exactly looking for. The vrt jams unless you really know how to use the it I purchased the NC800 after watching endless videos and OMG!! this juicer is amazing, it juicer greens and the pulp is dry. the new end unit keeps the pulp in longer so the machine juices it longer. the juice tastes totally different from the Breville in a super yummy way. I have decided to give away my Breville to a new comer to juicing and i'm keeping the vrt for fruits and this one for my veggies. I haven't tried nut butter yet but soon i will. I'll post updates. update 3/11/14 I still LOVE this juicer, I notice I'm using my vrt less and less but only because I'm juicing more greens than ever now. I wanted to give an update not about how much I love it but about how easy it is to clean. I personally don't care about the cleaning but for the past 2 years I have been trying to get my mom to make her own juices but she's too lazy to do it so she would only drink juices when I made them for her. now with this juicer she has been making juices all the time. last-night I asked her "why now?" she responded that is was so easy to clean she didn't even think about juicing twice. hope this helps.
