we're glad that it is well protected

Fits the fire pit we received as a Christmas gift perfectly, and since the fire pit stays outside all spring, summer and most of fall, we're glad that it is well protected. We've had some pretty good windstorms and it hasn't budged an inch, it stays nice and snug on the fire pit, and keeps the rain off of the pit. We're very pleased with this.

A great cover for a fair price.

My wife received a pretty expensive fire pit as an employee appreciation gift and we wanted to protect it. Most of the covers we looked at were flimsy and were just waiting to start cracking. This one has the polyester with PVC backing construction and I'm sure it will be around for many years to come. It fit our 40" fire pit perfectly. Really like the securing drawstring that holds it on so it won't blow off and away. We feel we made a very good choice.

Recently purchased a Crossfire fire pit with optional cooking grate ...

Recently purchased a Crossfire fire pit with optional cooking grate. The actual diameter is 30 inches when including the perimeter handle. This cover fits perfectly and when cinched at the bottom, appears to completely cover all the openings at the sides to prevent rain from entering. The material does appear durable although not as "heavy duty" as I initially imagined. We shall see how it does over the winter and summer as I intend to use it all the time inbetween bonfires.

Good Quality -well made- Perfect fit for my 30" round fire pit with dome lid

I was a little unsure ordering this at first. However it is perfect for my fire pit. The dimensions listed in the Q&A are correct. My fire pit is 30" round with a removable mesh domed screen that rests on top. This cover is a perfect fit over the pit and dome and hangs to about 1" from the ground. The draw string with toggle at the bottom is a great feature. The material is a heavy duty polyester with a canvas like texture and very pliable yet waterproof. with the PVC backing. It seems well made and of good quality. We had a heavy rain just after I used it for the first time and everything was bone dry. I highly recommend this.

Nice Fitting Fire Pit Cover

This cover was just what I needed. The one that came with my fire pit wore out from sun and rain in about 6 months. This one is much heavier duty and I expect t to last a long time.

Fantastic fire pit cover!

I bought the 40" heavy duty fire pit cover which is absolutely fantastic. I use it with the UniFlame WAD792SP Bronze Crossweave Fireball Fire Pit. I originally bought the 36" size since the fire pit was 36" across, but found I needed the 40" size cover to accommodate the height of the mesh lid on the fire pit. The cover works great! After one fire is done and completely out, I set up another fire with newspaper, tinder and logs and put the cover on. Everything stays dry, and all I have to do is light a match next time and we've got an instant fire! The cover also prevents rust from forming on the fire pit.

Great fit for my fire pit...

This fit my Landmann Big Sky fire pit perfectly. I like that I can tighten the draw string to keep it from getting blown off. I also like that it isn't vinyl, so it shouldn't crack anytime soon.

A good, heavy cover stays on securely, removes easily.

Delivered when expected, arrived in new condition. Cover is heavier material than I expected, a good thing. The lace tie in the hem is solid and easy to tighten. We had a very gusty wind and rain night recently. It sat out and stayed solidly in place and dry inside.

It looks good

A fire pit cover is a must. We bought this cover for a new fire pit (our old one rusted out). The quality of this cover looks good, so I have no reason to give it less then 5 stars. But the question is how many years will it last. I will update the review in a few years with the results.

perfect fit

This is exactly what we needed to replace the cheapo one that came with our Lowe's brand fire pit. Fit better than expected and is a good quality. Would purchase this particular one again if needed.
