Best bottles for gas - recommend size 0 nipples
I love these bottles so much! My little guy is mostly breastfeed with the exception of a daily evening bottle and these cut down so much on the gasiness. He took to the nipple right away and is very happy to chug away. We tried several other types of bottles and these are by far the best for avoiding gas. The one important note I would make is that the size 1 nipples were too fast for my mostly breastfeed baby so I ended up buying the preemie size 0 nipples and those have been a much better flow for him. I would recommend the preemie nipples if your baby also breastfeeds.

Worked MIRACLES for our Preemie with Acid Reflux/GERD
Our 4 pound IUGR preemie was suffering from HORRIBLE acid reflux such that we were holding her upright 19+ hours/day. It was so bad, she started refusing to feed and screamed in agony 20+ hours/day. As such, our pediatrician prescribed us ranitidine. Before filling the prescription though (hated the idea of giving my 3-week old a H2 blocker), we decided to give these bottles a try and WOW, it was like we had a new baby within hours! She instantly started feeding more than she ever had and quickly dozed off on a FLAT surface with minimal spit-up and burping. Don't get me wrong, she still has reflux, but it is nothing like it was. Instead of screaming all day long and being unable to be put down, we can now lay her flat ~8 hours/day, and the rest of the day, she is comfortable sitting up at an angle in her rock and play or in someone's arms. I am so glad we tried these bottles before giving her the prescription!

Only bottle we use now!
We tried several bottles until a lactation consultant turned us on to these. Now they’re the only ones we use. Our LO didn’t like regular bottles - the flow was too fast and the nipple not quote right. Then she tried Dr Brown and she drank the whole bottle calmly and slowly!!! It’s a little more work but we don’t mind. We ended up buying two sets so we have enough to last a day’s worth of feeding. PS get the ones with the blue inner stem not the green redesign.

I'm very glad the reviews are accurate for this product
It took our son a while to get used to Dr Brown's because the milk is not released as quickly, but now he's used to it. I've thrown out all my other brands. I swear by this. We're first time parents, we don't know what we're doing and we rely on the community of parents. I'm very glad the reviews are accurate for this product. No more gas! Lots of parts, but I'd rather wash parts than have a crying fussy baby!

Really helped with gas
These bottles really help with taking in less air for my babies - my twins used to struggle with gas a lot with previous bottles we were using and after switching to these we noticed a huge improvement. Just make sure you keep the small disk-like piece for if you are traveling with the bottles, I learned the hard way if you don't use that piece and then your bottle tips over in your cooler, it will leak everywhere, even with the lid on!

No leaks, no nipple confusion, work perfect for us!
I received these at the hospital to use with my premie and I loved them so much I bought more. I'm having to pump and bottle feed to ensure baby is getting enough milk and she's having no problem switching back and forth between latching onto these and the breast. I haven't experienced any leaks with these (we use the old style 4 oz size) and no problems with spit up so far. Our baby just takes her bottle and goes right to sleep, no fussiness or colic at all. The only time she gets gassy is when she gulps too fast. There are a lot of parts to wash compared to some of the other brands, but it really isn't any more difficult than washing any other bottles. Overall I'd highly recommend these. They work great for us!

If your baby is extra fussy or has colic, TRY THESE!!!!!
I LOVE Dr. Brown's bottles and so does my 2 month old son!!! I wish I had purchased them sooner. My son is almost exclusively breast fed, but I pump so my husband can give him the occasional bottle to give me a break. Unfortunately my son get's very gassy and has colic. We started with the Avent natural bottles, then tried the Lansinoh bottles, which we liked a bit better than the Avent. Our pediatrician recommended the Dr. Browns and we love them. Our son is MUCH less gassy, can drink a whole bottle and only be burped at the end of his feeding (rather than needing burped multiple times during a feeding with the other bottles). There are a few more pieces than traditional bottles (Which many reviewers have complained about), but seriously people, these are still simple bottles and if they make your child feel better how lazy can you be to complain about 2 extra pieces.

MUST HAVE for babies that spit up.
I don't even know where to start. These bottles are a GAME CHANGER, at first the nipple flow was a little slow for my aggressive eater but she quickly got adjusted to them. My baby is 7 months old and has spit up everything she eats since she was born. Milk, baby food, cereal, water you name it. Sometimes instantly most the time HOURS after. We had to change her clothes and bed sheets several times a day. Laundry was every day of full loads. Within two weeks on consistently using these bottles she rarely spits up and when she does it's almost nothing. I wish I would've used this from the start. I have a much happier baby, saving water with not having to do laundry all the time and find myself much less stressed. I recommend these bottles to everyone. They are a life saver.

Great! Easy to wash/assemble/use! No gas afterwards, son prefers these over others!
Love! By far my favorite bottles so far. We used the 4oz bottles during newborn phase, then switched to these 8oz after a few months and now my son is almost 9 months old and he won’t use anything else! They’re easy to assemble, no air bubbles, doesn’t ever leak unless you over fill past line it tells you not to right on the bottle. It’s easy to clean w/ or w/out dishwasher, but it’s dishwasher safe. Even after using ours in the dishwasher (top rack only!) for months, they don’t fade or look bad. When the nipples start to look worn we throw out and by more because they’re reasonably priced. We have to bring extras of these (bought 2 packs of these in 8 oz) to his Nanas when he goes there because all the different brands of bottles she had (most like natural breast/nipple, name brand bottles) my son wouldn’t take even though he was breastfeed and bottle fed. He chose these and so would we a million times over. Also I think they’re cute.

Worth the money!
Absolutely 5 stars. Wish I could give 10. We tried Comotomo, Avent, and Tommee Tippee. My son was getting so much air he was spitting up 1-2oz every time he was burped. By the first bottle with these he was spitting up a tablespoon or less. If you out them together the right way and read how you should be using the bottles they won't leak. The extra parts take 5 seconds per bottles extra to clean. Not a big deal at all. So worth the money!!
