Setting up a small studio in my basement to record a bunch of tapes to mp3, along with other music playing duties so got this mixer to integrate everything. Recording via usb works fine into audacity, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much better playing thru this mixer's USB is vs a 3.5mm cable into one of the stereo inputs. I've not compared the mixer's usb output vs analog out from the computer into the mixer, likely the computer audio circuitry is poor in comparison to the mixer's USB playback hardware. Otherwise the unit works great, the +4db boost features of the line level inputs helps bring up low signals so the mixer levels don't require maxing out. 40db L pads into the mic inputs also work fine to bring in line level signals that way. I wish the unit had separate control vs headphone outputs (they are on the same circuit but otherwise work fine). Sure would be great if there was a 4 bus version of this mixer- eventually moving to a quad system it would be nice to bring it all thru the board; meantime I'll have one of these for front R/L and a 5 channel usb mixer for the rear pair. Great value for the money :)

I love this little mixer. So far, I’ve purchased two Q1202USB’s because I’ve needed a second for simultaneous events. I use these for remote broadcasts for radio. If you pair this mixer with good microphones, the sound is superb, especially at the low price point. I’d watch out for the packaging when you get this. The last one I ordered had been opened and resealed. This seemed strange, so I tested the unit thoroughly and found that one of the channels was distorted.

Love it, very very quiet, clean and pre-amps are nice and powerful. It was delivered on time although not in an Amazon box. It came in the manufacturer's box with a shipping label. Hmmmmm

Used to record sound from lavalier mics. Help caputure and tune the sound before recording.

I have been having fun karaoke-ing with my friends using this Behringer mixer. The connections are simple and obvious, I did not need to read the manual to set up anything. The plastic might makes it quite light weight, which might create the feeling of cheaply made stuff, but it is actually very sturdy. It fell to the ground several times due to my drunken friends, but is still working perfectly. It is easy to use, high quality, and definitely meets the expectations. I like this mixer a lot, and I'm going to use it for my upcoming recording project.

Purchased about 1 yr ago and with constant use for my show and exposure to some dust and light this still works and works well. Great controls, sturdy device and solid for many purposes.

This board is perfect for streaming to Twitch, recording podcasts for multiple people, general let's play commentary and much more. My only gripe with this board is that it says that you can send a USB 2 track to just the headphones but it doesn't. It also sends it to the main mix with commentary, or it sends just the audio track and no commentary. At least that I haven't figured out how to set it up so that it doesn't send the audio to the commentary.

This mixer is probably my favorite piece of equipment so far. With compression, phantom power, and multiple channels this is an extremely affordable interface that I highly recommend. Seriously mind blowing how great this product is for less than $150.

So I've had this for awhile, been using it with one of the cheaper BM-700's and a Sennheiser E835 which is a Dynamic mic. Honestly it does what it's supposed to, I get pretty good sound quality albeit not the BEST by any means but for the cost and what it's capable of it is indeed quite impressive. One thing to note though, kind of a stupid flaw, people also mention a whine it produces which when turning the volume down in Windows ( or whatever OS or device you may have it attached to ) for instance will mostly eliminate it, is fixed by simply using a better USB cable. In the image shown, you see the rather thin cable to the left and a beefy shielded cable that I'm currently using from an old Blue Snowball and this provides much better quality than the supplied cable despite having the ferrite chokes, there simply isn't enough shielding in that cable for the task.

This model is an upgrade from what I started with. Sometimes you have to spend like it's worth it and this one is. The channels are nice n quiet and has just what I need to run a legit podcast setup
