Right dimensions and very comforatble.

The dimensions are perfect. Fully fit a chair. The comfort is great. I use it on my office chair. I had to lower the chair a tiny bit to accommodate the height of the cushion. I found one at Walmart that was similar but was smaller and was difficult to use. I am going to try this in my car, and if it works well there, I will buy another one. Update: Tried in my car, it works but a bit wide and the 3"foam is a bit much - will work if needed, but am going to find something more fitting the shape of the seat and a bit thinner.

Doesn't flatten or slip

I bought this cushion because I have to sit in a barely-padded hospital visitor's chair for 6 hours while my loved one receives his chemotherapy treatment. The cushion is great. I like that it doesn't feel soft or airy, but more dense and padded. This cushion does not flatten, which was an important feature for me. I used to bring a throw pillow to sit on in the clinic, but the pillow would just get flattened and hurt my back. My back did not hurt while sitting on this. Also, it totally stayed in place on the chair. I did not have to reposition it at all, even though I got up and changed my sitting position multiple times. Even with sitting low into the chair so I could lean back to put my feet up, the pad didn't slip. I'm only 100 lb, so if you have a heavier bottom, your experience might be different. But I'm very happy with the purchase.

Very comfortable.

I am using it right now on my office chair in front of the computer. Nice and wide and very cushy, However, i am a heavy guy (230 pounds) and it is not so compressed that it has lost its cushion. Price is also very reasonable. Update: I have been using this seat cushion on my office chair daily for the past five months. It is holding up very well and I am still very pleased with my purchase. The foam has not broken down and is it still very comfortable to sit in.

Best Seat Cushion

This is a well made seat cushion that exceeded my high expectations. Its extra large size is what I need but couldn't find it locally. There is a non-slip coating at the bottom that works as advertised to make it stay put. The top memory foam layer is about 7/8" (see attached pictures) while the bottom foam is a little over 2" so the overall dimensions are 19" (width) x 17"*(depth) x 3"(height) which matches the product description. I did find that it took a few days for it to break-in to the point that it feels really comfortable. The handle on the seat cushion makes it easy to carry it round.

We tried others, none compare to this. Love it so much I bought more!

This is fabulous. I got one to see how it would feel at the kitchen table. I can't tolerate the hard wood chairs because I broke my tail bone giving birth and it's never been the same. It was hard to find chair cushions large enough for our oversized kitchen chairs. So I got one of these and loved it so much I got some for my other chairs and one for my husbands office chairs at home and at work. He loves them too. Not too soft not too hard.

This is the cushion you want!

Being heavy, it's hard trying to find a decent cushion. My last one was a highly-rated "orthopedic" cushion, what a joke that was, the special shape means nothing when sitting on it just flattens out completely. THIS one is so much better in every way! Very comfortable. Noticeably more resilient foam. And bonus points for this - the size, the upholstery fabric it's covered with, and the contour where the legs extend off it, are all a close match to the seat of a typical fabric office chair. So unlike some other cushions that visibly stand out as a testament that my butt has made a victim of yet another chair's built-in padding, this one blends in, looking just like I have an extra fancy - and comfy - chair.

This is an excellent cushion. Comfortable for even heavy people, it is soft yet very supportive. Made of 2 bonded foams,one memory type for a soft feel , and one that feels like a high density great sofa seat. I spent many hours at a 3 day sit down convention with it in my wheelchair and was extremely comfortable. The cover is hand washable in soap and cold water. It cleans well and looks like new, instructions on an inside label. But it is a tight fit even with the nice long zipper , a bit of a struggle to put back on, just keep your cool and zip slowly, you'll get it. I ordered one for the hubby and they somehow sent 2. Amazon quickly sent me a label for free return but before I could label the box, a friend saw it and wanted it. So no return was needed. Thanks again for great service and a great product Amazon, at a good price.... Grateful.

I debated on whether or not to buy this after ...

I debated on whether or not to buy this after reading some of the reviews. I know I wanted a large cushion that would take up the whole space on my chair seat, so I decided to try it. I find it firm but not hard. After sitting on it for several hours it always returns to it's original shape afterward. It does take getting used to sitting up higher than before. I did not find that it had any strong smell as some customers described. I would definitely buy it again.

Nice and firm and wide

I bought this for my 80 year old dad who needed a little more height in his pew at church in order to easily stand from a seated position. This works great, although it is not as thick as I thought it said. It is very firm and wide, which works for dad because he is a big guy.

4 Years of Excellence!

I have had this cushion for four years, and the reason I'm here is because I'm about to buy another one. I work at my computer 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Ever since I started using this cushion, my legs stopped hurting, I didn't experience numbness, and my back wasn't hurting, either. Well, after four years, I've managed to finally wear her out. She still works, just, there are small tears in the fabric, and I have a niece who spilled sticky something on it, and so I figured it was time to purchase a new one, and it had been so long I had to look up the name just so I could find it on Amazon (I wasn't going through 4 years of transactions to find a seat cushion), and here I am again. If you're considering buying, do so. You will not regret it. Four years of fantastic service for a cushion that cost me less than $30, and I'm going to buy another one. As far as I'm concerned, that's *quality* and price all rolled into one comfortable chair cushion.
