Great play area for multiple ages.
We purchased this because it can be used at multiple stages during a babies development. Our son enjoyed playing under the toys, but has really enjoyed playing in the "ball pit". The balls are the perfect size for our now 7 month old to grab and toss, which can sometimes make walking through our living room a bit treacherous if you aren't paying attention. These balls are very light weight and perfect for infants. Set up and take down of the ball pit is very easy and can be done in less than a minute. We store the little foam "poles" inside the turtle head with the balls and this makes clean up easy. Our son also likes fishing around in the turtle head container area to get the balls out, which is an added bonus. Now if I could just get him to put the balls back in the contains.

Lot's of options! Grows with your Baby!
This is an Awesome Activity Gym. There are three ways you can set it up. You can have it flat on the ground with no surrounding netting, you can have it with the surrounding netting and no balls and then you can have it with the surrounding netting with the balls. The netting option is nice for my 3 month old who rolls around but is not ready to play with the balls. It gives her a secure place to entertain herself without rolling off on to the tile floor. There are so many toys that come with it to hand on multiple loops up and down the cross beams. You can even add toys with clips from other activity centers if you want to use all of the available loops. There are just a ton of options with this activity center.

This is the gym to buy!
Never thought I would love this as much as I do. Grows with baby to a ball pit so instead of sinking your money into another $50 mat that will wind up in the closet (or basement) permanently, this thing continues to be entertaining. Toys are cute and played with apart from the mat itself, but the mat is slightly cushioned and colorful for the early days. Later, the sides go up and the sitting/standing crowd can keep on playing with it. Whoever thought of this deserves a medal. Almost didn't go for this because of the ball storage in the turtle head, but the extra space it takes up is worth it for the hours of fun.

We love it
Update: Two years later and we are using it for baby #2. It’s still great. My cat peed in it, so I threw it in the washing machine (without the arches or side support posts) even though the instructions say not to. It came out great! I’ll definitely machine wash again. My 2 month old really likes this play gym. The hanging toys and the mat have lots of faces with large eyes which really capture her attention. Also, the feet of the turtle and several toys have the crinkly material which is nice. You can also easily add other toys if your baby has a favorite. I'm looking forward to all the new ways we will be able to play with it as she grows. The only change I would make is that the mat could be more waterproof. It is easy to wipe off any solid material, but it does absorbs liquid spit up. It hasn't stained too much so far, but it's going to get spit up on a lot in the next few months. Overall, I definitely recommend it. Also, very easy to set up, and has a carrying case it can be packed up in.

A great way to keep our LO happy
My son (3 months) LOVES this gym, he specially enjoys being able to kick the polls with his legs and make all the toys rattle. The lower toys are within his hands reach and he spends long time practicing his motor skills trying to grab them. The flexible design of the polls also means that he can pull the toys towards his mouth once he manages to catch them. He can sometimes spend up to one hour looking around and being content and entertained which gives us much appreciated rest from holding him in our arms! This is so far the most successful gym/toy our son got, and we even went ahead and bought it as a present to couple of other parents we know. Only con: the mat is not waterproofed (although easily cleaned with a wipe or a wet cloth and dries quickly) , we typically put it on another blanket and not directly on the carpet so when we have accidents it can be easily washed

love it!
I purchased this for my newborn and both he and my toddler have gotten a ton of use from it! I loved being able to put my newborn in this gym for tummy time. The sides were a sort of boundary line for my toddler so he would not bother the newborn. As he got older he played with the gym and it was very stimulating for him. Now that he's sitting, we're using it as a ball pit. Both boys LOVE IT. It is made of vibrants, high quality materials. We've had no issues in almost a year. Great buy!!

Worth it! Grows with child
My daughter has been using this since she was a new born to now at 10 months. I did buy rings that attached and her hands easily knocked into. This kept her entertained and developed her hand eye cordination. It stayed packed away for a month or two when we moved and now that she is walking and crawling she loves it as a ball pit. She goes in and out and moves the balls around. Great toy that has kept her interest as she has grown.

Exceeds Expectations
Who even knew that a 10 week old could even "play"? We have a number of toys for our baby that are supposedly for newborns and up, but really our baby has had no interest in these toys. Pros: - Easy to put together - Hanging toys are actually cute, brightly colored and could be used apart from the gym. - Turtle's feet make a crinkly sound that the baby responds to. - The poles have high contrast black and white that infants eyes are drawn to. - The poles are very lightweight and flexible so that the baby can kick them, which causes the hanging toys to move. - Lightweight and easy to move. Cons: - Not machine washable. - Putting balls into turtle's head is a bit time consuming since you really can only put one in at a time. I haven't set up the ball pit, but already the gym has exceeded my expectations. My baby really seems to enjoy the gym. It also looks much better than in the picture. Update: After 5 1/2 months, my baby is still playing with the gym. I also use the hanging toys apart from the gym. They are convenient as stroller toys and at my diaper station. She can't sit up on her own yet so I haven't set up the ball pit. Update: At 7 1/2 months we've converted it to the ball pit, though we haven't put the balls in yet. I was concerned that there was no information on the materials of the balls. Sometimes ball pit balls can be made of PVC. I contacted the company and they told me the balls are made of LDPE (low density Polyethylene). As far as I know, LDPE is considered a safe material for babies so soon the baby will have a ball pit. Currently it serves as a kind of toy box. I still put her in the pit with all her toys and she's pretty happy in there.

Favorite floor gym
This item is Just as pictured, it's very bright and colorful. My 3 month old seems to enjoy it and so does my 3 year old. I have not put the balls in the turtle area yet. I will wait till my baby is older, otherwise they'll end up everywhere. It's also a good size, not very large that it would take up to much room. Hope my bby enjoys for months to come.
