Fun toy!!
Bought this for my 17 month granddaughter. A little advanced at the moment but she enjoyed trying to get the blocks into the openings. Right now, it requires us to be with her and teach her how to play with this but she did enjoy it. She enjoys reaching in the back and pulling the blocks out too. The container has grooves to fit on the snail's back and stays on pretty well even with some jerky pulling. She'll grow into this and overall I think this is a good toy.

My little man, 14 months, loves this toy. Snail shell He will play with the snail's shell placing the shaped blocks through the holes. He has also figured out how to put other objects through the back. He will walk around carrying the shell and shaking it for the noises it makes. This is easily grasped by little hands. Snail body The string is perfect. He loves to take the body for walks, most of the time without the shell. The eyes are also super fun to play with. So glad I bought this interactive toy.

Enjoyable 2-in-1toy
My baby has just started walking and he enjoys pulling this toy along with him. The shape sorter is a bonus. It creates the shell of the snail and rotates when the toy is pulled. If the shapes are within the shape sorter when pulled, they create a clattering sound as the shapes tumble within the toy. The shape sorter often falls out of the toy when it's being pulled by my one year old. While playing with the toy my baby puts the eyes of the toy inside his mouth, and the entire eye fits inside his mouth. When I see him do that I stop him and remove it. I feel concerned that he might be able to chew it off or that the eyes might slide off the toy and pose a choking hazard. So far the eyes are intact and seem sturdy enough to not pop out. It's not a deal breaker and I'm happy with my purchase.

Educational and Fun
This toy was a huge hit with the one-year-old I gave it to for a birthday present. He was able to play with it before he could really walk and loved the bright colors and the smooth feel of the wood pieces. Now that he's walking, he loves to pull it along and he's beginning to try to fit the pieces into their correspondingly shaped holes. A great all-around toy for a developing child.

We all love this toy
We all love this toy. So much so that I have to tell my husband to let the baby play with it (he was the first person to tow it around the livingroom). It bobs in a cute manner. Even before baby was walking, she loved rolling the top part around and making the rubbery eyes bobble. Now she loves chewing on the eyes, and started using the shape sorter at 9 months. The colors around the hole and fewer shapes make it easier to figure out than other shape sorters, and she likes this one better. The many ways that it can be used/enjoyed is probably one of the best features of this toy (in addition to being safely and environmentally consciously made in Switzerland).

shape sorter and pull toy
this was a winner in our house. My grandson loves the shapes and shape sorter plus he likes to pull it behind him now that he is walking. All wood, beautifully done and just enough shapes so that it is not overwhelming. I recommend this to any one looking for an educational toy that appeals to children as young as 8 months until possibly 24 months. I strongly recommend.

GREAT, great, GREAT toy for kids 4m-4yrs+
This is an awesome toy for 4m+... Our daughter enjoyed following it as Daddy pulled it in a circle around her. Next, she'll be able to play with blocks and then put them in the holes. The round top rolls on its own and makes noise when the blocks are inside. The tail goes up and down as the snail rolls, and all is beautifully colored wood except the eyes, the "stems" of which appear to be a latex rubber- which we like because they bob a little.

Well made and fun!
This toy is very well made and can be played with in a number of ways. The circular "back" of the snail rotates when the snail is walking causing the shapes inside to tumble and make noise. The back can also come off the snail to use as a sorter. I did tie a small teething clip to the string to make it easier for little hands to hold while walking the snail. Our 15 month old grandson loves to take his snail for a walk!

Adorable classic wood toy
We got this toy for our eight month old daughter for Christmas and she immediately loved it! She can't pull it quite yet, but can play with the shape shorter since it easily detaches. The wooden shapes can easily be accessed from the opposite side, which has a spandex strap that holds the shapes in. I am looking forward to her walking and being able to pull this snail around the house. The body of the snail makes fun noises as it rolls!

but I think the snail better because: 1) the shapes (3) are longer so ...
I bought this for my nephew and he loves it! He drags the 'shell' shape sorter around with him everywhere and loves the sound it makes when he pulls it across the floor. My daughter has the turtle version of this, but I think the snail better because: 1) the shapes (3) are longer so they don't fall out of it's 'shell,' 2) the tail moves when you pull it across the floor, 3) toddlers are fascinated by the springy eyes. The downfall is that there are only 3 shapes as opposed to 5 with the turtle and the shapes are harder to get out. With both toys, I just wished there was a large bead attached to the end of the string so it's easier for toddlers to pick up and hold on to. Overall it's a fantastic toy for a toddler.
