Far better than my last two meters
Fluke might be more expensive than the other brands, but it’s worth every penny. I like the volt detect, but it needs to be pretty close, so if there is a cover on a box or something, you may need to use it on the lines going in/out. Also, the retracting lead covers are a nice touch - I’ve lost so many in the past

Quality worth the cost!
This multi meter is high quality! super accurate when comparing to the cheap ones i used to use. Yes it's expensive, but worth it. I should have bought a fluke a long time ago.

Great meter set
Okay appliance repairman here, I was wanting a good quality meter set and knew that the most trusted name in the industry was fluke. Everything about this set is great, from the high quality meters and leads to the nice protective carrying case. The 117 has great features ac/dc voltage, an auto detect setting, non contact voltage detector, audible continuity setting, and lighted display. The amp meter has a clamp that is the perfect size to get into those tight and hard to reach places, makes checking compressors a breeze! I had other cheap meters in the past and this is my first fluke, after using this set I'll never change brands again.

Included in the kit
This was purchased as a gift & supplied by Amazon. The description online did not give a complete description of what was included in the kit. So I thought I would supply this information with the hopes that it may help someone else. This kit does include the Fluke 117 multimeter, 323 clamp meter, TL175 Twist Guard test leads, ToolPak magnetic meter hanger & C115 soft carrying case. I have included pictures of the box the kit came in.

Best Multimeters on the Market.
I bought this meter for the industrial field. When working with up to 1000 Volts you want the best; that's why I chose Fluke. I feel better knowing I have a product that the manufacturer will stand behind. I wouldn't have any other meter in my tool kit.

Fluke is the best.
Fluke is great quality stuff. I use and trust them at work when measuring 480V+ services. I have had some of my fluke multi-meters for 10+ years. My family has had meters for 20+ years. There is cheaper out there but I know this will last a very long time so I was comfortable to buy the higher quality product.

The tool pays for itself.
I use klein for my eletrical tools and I use fluke for my testing equipment. Use the correct and best tools if its your career. Example, mechanics use snap on or matco not harbor freight. Youll save so much time and headache with fluke the tool pays for itself.

Fluke! Enough Said.
Reason for purchase was to use for troubleshooting home/shop equipment in particular my CNC for Control System Testing. At first I bought a cheap ~$35 meter, which was a mistake from the beginning. They do not have near the functionality or accuracy of these fluke meters, let alone reliability. Sending that non functioning meter after 2 days and picking this baby up was a great decision even though my pocket says otherwise. But in the end, you get what you pay for!
