2 Pack - SimpleHouseware Cabinet Door / Wall Mount Pot Lid Organizer Rack, ChromeWe were trying to organize our kitchen a bit and decided to hang our pans using this rack. We have a high vaulted ceiling in our kitchen and very little free wall space, so we decided to mount the rack above the window (see images). This made it rather high and, although I could have probably figured out a way to mount it lower, I wanted to use the hanging brackets that the rack comes with. We were able to solve this issue by using the rotating hooks along with adding Cooks Standard wire hooks. The hooks (extensions) are not really meant for that use, but the rotating cast hooks are slightly tapered toward the end of the hook which allows one to add the hook without having to bend the hook. (The extension hooks have the bends at 45 deg to each other.) The hooks naturally rotated a bit to turn the pans slightly which we found attractive. Also, we wanted to put a few knick-knacks on the rack so, in order to raise them up a bit to be seen better, I bought a small piece of 1" X 3" X 36" yellow pine at Lowe's (actual dimension 3/4" X 2-1/2") and cut it to about 28" long. I wiped some clear satin urethane finish on it and it almost perfectly matched the existing rack. Installation notes: The hanging brackets can be installed anywhere along the length of the shelf which is important because it is best to screw the brackets directly into the wall studs, if you can. If you note on the images below, our brackets are closer to the center of the rack than the ones shown in the product image. The product image is deceiving because you are not going to find studs spaced to fit in that configuration. The pan head screws supplied with the rack are sufficient for screwing through the drywall and into the stud using a cordless driver. If you have to use a hollow wall anchor, I would advise something really strong like a toggle bolt (link below) rather than plastic expanding anchors. We also added racks for the lids and it worked out better than we had hoped. I absolutely love this pot rack. We downsized to a condo that has a small kitchen with limited storage. I was accustomed to a large rack hanging from the ceiling over an island, but that would not work here. In the condo my pans were spread between lower cabinets that required me to nearly stand on my head to reach them. Others were stacked in a pantry taking up valuable space for canned goods. I needed a truly sturdy rack that would endure hard use, not just a kitchen ornament. I also needed one that could be adjusted to attach to wall studs. This one met all the criteria. Installation was relatively easy because the shelf brackets would screw into the studs wherever they needed to be. For this my husband was thankful. We also bought the lid holder. Now I can easily get to my pans, and there are empty spaces in my cabinets and pantry.

Great product. The unit is very nice and looks good in our kitchen. It took about 30 minutes to set up. Your provided with screws but no anchors to anchor it to the wall. You can use some good plastic wall anchors to attach it to the wall. The pots can be heavy so the unit has to be secured to the wall properly. The instructions are not the best but the unit is not hard to assemble. All in all, I love this product and would recommend.

This was a perfect-fit item for our kitchen and our needs. We didn't have room for a ceiling-mounted rack, and wanted something that wasn't too big or too small and looked attractive. This fit the bill perfectly. We had a handyman install it to be super-secure (I didn't trust my amateur instincts), so I can't comment on ease of installation, and don't count on having too much depth on the top shelf to store things above, but as far as utility for job #1 (hanging pots and pans) and attractiveness, it's first rate. We easily fit a large soup pot as well as multiple pans. See the photos for the best perspective, including one from the side so you can really see how deep it is. It also makes the kitchen area seem like more of a professional kitchen.

Easily my favorite kitchen item. I have a tiny kitchen that only has two cabinets for storage, so my oven was my storage for pots and pans until I bought this. Now I don't have to pull 8 items out of my oven just to preheat and bake something. Installation was easy, took about ten minutes. I hit two studs and I could do a pull up off this pot rack. Does not come with drywall anchors, so if you're not going to put it in studs I would recommend some good quality drywall anchors. However, those silver brackets can move anywhere on the wooden slats so you should be able to easily hit two studs. My favorite thing about this pot rack is the hook design; these hooks can't fall out when you sloppily hang a pot up on it because the hooks are dropped in from the top of the pot rack, and the design is brilliant. It's also easy to pull the hooks up and move them when you decide you want it somewhere else. You can store lids or stock pots or other items on the shelf above the pots. Love love love this pot rack.

Really great product and looks very nice in my small studio kitchen. If I had enough storage space, I might not choose to have my pots and pans out on display but since my space is very limited and my pots are gorgeous, this serves my needs extremely well. *It is sturdy *It is very nice looking in an organic way *It is versatile~you can put your lids in the slots in the top and your pots adjacent *You can place the hooks in multiple ways to work out how best to store your particular items. *It is easy to put together *Must be placed in studs (if you are not sure how to find studs, search online for easy tutorials) For me, I purchased a few extra swivel hooks to give me more flexibility. Depending on your space and the traffic in the vicinity of your rack (and the height of your peeps) you may want to make adjustments. For example, one end of my rack is close to my fridge so to keep my bun (hair) from running into the pans as I access my fridge, I hung the shortest pans on that end. You can also hang in layers with your pans facing the wall or you can hang them "spooning" each other if you have enough of the swivel hooks. So do yourself a favor and get some extra hooks so you can avoid frustration and have the flexibility to work out the configuration that best meets your needs. Also, depending on how you place the hooks, it may be bothersome to some that the pots sit on top of the hooks. If you move the hooks to the outermost slot, you might be able to avoid that annoyance. If the pots are sitting on top of the hooks, you may not be able to safely slide the hooks around without jostling your pots. Just something to think about. It is just the way it is designed and I have worked around that so it doesn't really bother me but it may be a problem for some. Overall, I really like this product; it has made good use of wasted wall space for much needed storage space in my small kitchen. Good Luck.

I recently purchased 2 of these pot racks based on a coworker's recommendation and I am so glad I did it! My kitchen is on the smaller side and doesn't have much storage space so I was looking for a creative way to store my pots and pans. I considered doing a kitchen pegboard but those are much more work and I don't really like how they look. These racks were very easy to assemble and hang. I personally did not hang them on wall studs so instead I used some heavy duty wall anchors. However if you do use wall anchors be careful about the angle you install them at - I had some trouble screwing the racks in due to how I put in the anchors (this was my 1st wall anchor experience). The hangers themselves seem very sturdy and have held up very well so far. I purchased a few extra hangers (available on Amazon) so that I could hang my whole collection of pots and pans. My one criticism is that due to how the hangers sit on the rack, you can't really put anything on the shelf and still be able to move the hangers. However, in my case it doesn't matter since my ceiling is too low to put anything on the shelf.

We like how this pot hanger looks. It's very sturdy and fits the space well. It came with six swivel hooks. Directions were not completely clear; even so, it all came together. It is important to measure well and to be sure that you're attaching the unit to studs. We bought longer screws for the top part (the upper screw goes in at an angle and it seemed best to use a longer screw than the one provided). The swivel hooks look great from below and work well. They extend above the top of the shelf which does impact the ability to store items on the shelf - some items work, others (depending on their shape) do not. We would recommend this product for anyone with limited space who's looking for a creative, attractive storage option.

I read that another reviewer received 4 swivel hooks and 2 stationary hooks, so I was going to order some extra swivel hooks, but I'm glad I didn't. My set came with 6 swivel hooks. So, either my set wasn't packaged correctly, or the manufacturer read the complaints about the stationary ones and started packaging them with 6 swivels. Other than that, I bought this for my wife and she loves everything about it! As such, so do I. It was very easy to install once I gathered all the tools. It took about 8 minutes to measure, mark, drill, and mount. This thing is just what we needed—it freed up an entire cabinet! Now we have space to put more junk! :D I docked a star for sturdiness because out of the 15 round wooden spacers that go between the planks, one or two were cut slightly narrow, which left a small gap when installed (SEE PHOTO). Perhaps, it's not the dowel spacers and instead caused by the width of the planks? I don't know. Either way, I don't consider that a complaint because it doesn't bother me all that much—just an observation future buyers might want to consider. As far as I'm concerned, it's been hanging on the wall for nearly 2 months (at the time of writing this). Every now and again, I'll walk by and pull down on it considerably just to make sure it hasn't weakened anywhere. Well, the the thing hasn't budged (then again, it's mounted to studs). So far, I've not a single complaint, and as long as there's no UPDATE mentioning otherwise at the bottom of this review, then it's still hanging where and how it should.

We just moved into our apartment a few months ago, and while it has an awesome open concept, it lacks enough cabinet space. We were constantly banging pots and pans around, running out of room when we put things away, and were getting frustrated. So after being unable to find one secondhand that would work with our space, we started shopping for new and came across this one. We both really love the aesthetic of it, as well as the functionality of the shelf. It's really helped make cooking and putting things away less of a hassle, and it looks FANTASTIC - it really pulled our apartment together wonderfully! As soon as we put it up, the apartment felt much more homey. It was extremely easy to assemble and hang, too. And I was relieved to see no styrofoam in the packaging (though there was still plastic - if you're the manufacturer/retailer, I'd love if you'd explore more sustainable packaging options)!
