Love this baby wash for my kids! It has a EWG rating of 1 so you can feel good about using it on your kids. I used to use California Baby Sensitive Baby Shampoo and Wash for my kids but one has bouts of eczema. I was looking for a wash that was just as gentle but more creamy and less drying for my kids. Burt's Bees fits the bill. It has a mild scent that is pleasant but not overpowering. I also use a little less soap than I did with the California Baby one as this one lathers up very well. I still end up using a separate conditioner but I'm ok with that - my kids have a lot of hair. The only minor gripe is that it doesn't come in a pump like California Baby (nice for doing one-handed pump action while using the other hand to prop the baby up). And it is of course on the pricier side of baby washes, but if you care about EWG ratings like I do, then you know it's worth it. It isn't organic but that's ok for me as long as the EWG rating is good.

Babies smell nice! But that's not by accident. They smell nice because of the wash and lotion their mommies put on their little bodies. Without that, they smell like sour milk, diapers, and well, REAL baby. But what's in all of those washes and lotions? Don't ask! I love Burt's Bees products, and the baby wash is no exception. I like that it smells so nice, but I like even more that it's natural and gentle. The ingredients aren't scary like some others. Granted, it's not 100% crunchy granola pure, but it's pretty darned good. Both of my babies have used this from their first bath (I even made the nurse use it in the hospital when she bathed baby #2!), and I wouldn't use anything else. It's pricey, but I think it's well worth it for something that doesn't dry them out. Did I mention that it smells AMAZING? Buying it in the 3-pack was a smart move, since that will probably last us the better part of a year--no joke! A little goes a long way!

I love this baby wash/shampoo. My baby had cradle cap and his pediatrician recommended hea and shoulders. I used it and the cradle cap would go away and then come back after a few days. But, with Burt's Bees, the cradle cap is gone and has not come back. I've been using this for 2.5 months and so far it's the best for babies. I used J&J, Sove, and Aveeno; there is no comparison. It does not lather, but it works great!!

We purchased fragnance free product for our 10 month old since reviewing J&J ingridients more closely did not reveal anything good. I read reviews on fragnance free Baby Bee product (negative ones too) and the main concerns were that it doesn't lather properly and it smells horrible. I ordered anyway since researched showed tgat Baby Bee fragnance free is indeed more natural for my little one and honestly I don't think that it doesn't lather - it does good enough, especially if you lather it in washcloth. Also it smells just a bit like some sort of essential oil and in an hour after washing I can't realy smell it on my baby's hair. For what it's wort, it smells even nice and clean to me rather than awful since I don't like strong smells. Conclusion: more natural than most on the market and affordable. Will buy again.

This product is one of my all time favorites! I use this both on myself but more importantly it's used on my 5 month old baby. Some of my friends have expressed their opinions on how strongly scented this product is however I beg to differ. They also feel that the product may be too harsh for a baby's skin and again I differ on this opinion. Besides it's well worth noting that for any and all commercial baby wash products one may deem unfit due to the harshness of it, my suggestion is for all moms out there to invest in those cheap foaming soap dispensers. I use them all time for my own homemade face wash. But I also use them along with all baby wash products. I simply add a quarter or less of the product and top the rest off with purified water. Sometimes a tablespoon of a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil, or coconut oil helps by offering a bit more moisture to the product. I personally use this method because it holds a practical purpose and use.

My son has very sensitive skin so we have stuck to using more natural baby soaps. We first tried Burt’s Bees because it was readily available locally. I love the scent and it does not bother my son’s skin at all while still cleaning well. The price is a bit rough so I started trying whatever natural brand was on sale. Even though Burt’s Bees is only “95% natural ingredients” my son did so much better on it. Every other natural brand we’ve tried has made my son break out in eczema, even the eczema specific ones. After much comparing on brands I found that all but Burt’s Bees contain chamomile. Whether it’s just that Burt’s Bees is better for sensitive skin or there’s a link to the chamomile, I don’t know. All I know is we are a Burt’s Bees baby soap family for life (even if our youngest isn’t even a baby anymore).

Our daughter has slight eczema and we decided to try this product as a friend recommended it and bought it as a gift for the baby shower. After using it I loved the smell it left after she finished her bath. Her hair smelled great till the next day and did not cause any eczema problems. Would definitely recommend to others especially if they like other Burt's bees products!! If you are not a fan of their products then would not recommend.

Our kids suffer from eczema and we've tried a bunch of different products, and finally came to the conclusion that Burt's Bee Shampoo and Wash was the one that was the least irritating. We still make sure to moisturize their skin with non-petroleum based skin moisturizer. We use the Original scent - you can our preferred essential oils to make it smell the way you want to.

We love this soap and prefer it over the other liquid Burt’s Bees soap just because it’s not as thick and easier to use for a baby/toddler bath. It does cost a little more, but lasts for quite awhile. Wish they had a couple of scent options in addition to the sensitive skin version.

We love the smell of this on both of our babies. It smells great for a long time afterwards. It doesn't work very well on adults if you happen to be in the kid's bathroom and use it out of desperation, but it definitely nakes babies smell like yummy little babies.
