This Lenovo ThinkPad Ultra Dock 90W (US) works perfectly with my T460s laptop

I have looked over all of the professional laptop makers, and Lenovo is the smart choice for any professional. Hp just doesn't have the right feature set yet. Dell really is just a joke. Lenovo came through with the best dock, lockable to the laptop, and lockable to the desk. Excellent I/O config for the port replicators, excellent video out options, PLENTY of usb3 ports, and a power adapter that also works direct to laptop when not docked. Again, this is the best out there at the moment and I couldn't be happier.

For the laptops this docking station can fit into, I strongly recommend it.. You can plug in more than 1 monitor, it has most common display outlets (SVGA, DVI, DP, HDMI), & several different usb ports & an Ethernet port. There may be some limitations depending on the graphics in the laptop... I made the mistake of ordering a basic docking station - all it had was a single VGA port, along w/USB & Ethernet ports, limiting the number & quality of the monitor. Fortunately, there was 1 office where I could use it.

I have been using laptop docks for years. Until I got to my current employer, I never knew how much I appreciated being able to dock and un-dock in a single motion. My current employer uses universal docks, which means you have to plug in a bunch of wires. I decided to purchase my own dock, and it has been well worth the money. I have not had any problems with the dock. If I should ever leave this employer or get a machine that does not work with the dock, I will re-sell it on Amazon. Thanks for a great product.

This dock is sturdy and it holds fast on the laptop, tripling the USB port count (adding three USB 3.0 ports and three regular ports) and adding three more video outputs. A headphone jack is present, but plugging a cable into the laptop itself overrides it. The power button on the dock allows for turning on a closed laptop in the dock. Note that in spite of the seller saying that this dock doesn't work for quad-core, discrete graphics models, it works perfectly with my T470p (which has both of those options). They also sent me a three-prong AC adapter instead of a two-prong, but this won't cause me any issues.

I bought the Lenovo ThinkPad USA Ultra Dock after I got tired of disconnecting/connecting a plethora of cables from my work laptop. The always on USB port is great for recharging headsets, phones, etc. One thing to note is that the Display Port/HDMI and Display Port/DVI interface pairs are restricted to one interface each. If you want to use the HDMI port, then the adjacent Display Port cannot be used. You can connect three monitors, but one of them must be VGA. The product arrived as advertised in retail packaging with everything in perfect condition. My only thought for a product improvement would be that Lenovo should have equipped the dock with mini Display Ports since that is the format used on the laptop itself.

Bought this for a T540p and it fits/works fine. One complaint would be that Lenovo seems to make one model of dock for 250 models of computers, so the exact fit of the T540p on this is a bit goofy. Case in point: there is a push tab on the back right side of the dock that simply rests on the battery, meaning the back of the computer doesn't get a solid "weld" against the dock and moreso just sits awkwardly atop this button thing.

I really bought this to support the extra (3rd) monitor. I have a T440p with Intel HD Graphics 4600 and saw that this docking station can support 2 external 4k monitors in addition to the laptop screen. It was a bit tricky to get set up because the Display Settings under Control Panel (Win10) would not recognize the 3rd monitor. I had to go into the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel under the Multiple Displays page to enable the 3rd one. Once that was done I could access all 3 monitors through the Control Panel. There were a couple of posts on the internet about not being able to use both display ports at the same time so I am using one display port connection and one HDMI connection. (Never tested using both display ports so I can't say for sure). The displays are a bit slower but it is only a laptop and it is driving a heck of a lot of pixels. The refresh rate is only 29p Hz for the 4k monitors which might not be good enough for gaming but is fine for office work.

I've bought several of these for laptops in the office - these have extra video ports which are needed if you want to run 3 monitors simultaneously (note: the digital video ports are paired up so you have to use every-other port on the back. The VGA is independent). My only advice is to make sure these are compatible with your laptop - pull up your laptop on Lenovo's website, go to the accessories page, and see what docks they are willing to sell you. If this is in that list you should be good to go!

Great product, makes professional life much easier. Conveniently suited for those with two monitors plus the laptop screen, with enough USB connectivity to handle keyboard, mouse, pen-pad, phone, tablet, and anything else you may need to hang from it.
