Winner!
Everything needed (almost) to make great cheese! The goat cheese recipe is easy and came out delicious! I added some Herb de Provence to one batch and got lots of kudos. The mozzarella was a fail for me (it never was stretchy) but I am fairly certain that was my fault. The flavor was good and I still used it on a pizza! I also made the mascarpone. I added a little lavender honey at the end and it was a hit! I would recommend this kit for any rookie cheese maker like myself. Have fun!

Great beginner kit!
Just received this and already made a batch of fresh mozzarella, then a batch of ricotta from the whey, and I will be using the leftover whey to make bread today. Great beginner set and the instructions are very helpful. The packaging is lovely and would make a great gift. For more advanced cheesemaking you may need other ingredients such as coloring and culture but this is a great beginning kit and I will probably order other ingredients from the seller. I think it's a good value because to order all the components separately you might spend a lot more, and then if you gave up you would have a lot of wasted product. With this kit, you can try it out before you invest in a lot of stuff

Unique gift idea!
This was purchased as a gift for my “foodie” brother. He was so pleased to get it and made fresh mozzerella the day after Christmas. The kit will make several different cheeses in separate batches. Yes, you could probably buy 20 lbs of cheese cheaper than this kit - but where’s the fun in that?

Awesome! Mozzarella came out perfect!
Bought this as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. The mozzarella was very easy to make and came out tasting great! The kit has more than enough ingredients to make it multiple times, all you need to buy is the milk!

My young sister helped make our first batch of mozzarella and it turned out even better than we expected
The kit was simple and well labeled. My young sister helped make our first batch of mozzarella and it turned out even better than we expected! I'm so glad we could try this together and I could teach her about making food at home. I found the plastic gloves unnecessary, but I'm sure some people would appreciate having them. Make sure you properly store all of the ingredients and you will be able to make several batches of great home-made cheese.

I Loved It
I bought this kit to make cheese, but the very first recipe was for butter; and I was blown away by how easy it is to make, and how delicious homemade butter is. I also made some cottage cheese, and instead of being watery like the cottage cheese from the grocery store, it came out light and fluffy like the Aluette cheese spread, so I added some chopped chives and served it with pita chips, and my friends loved it. I'm super excited to try some more recipes, and make some more complicated cheeses.

Heat First Then Added citric acid
This is a good purchase as a prime member. Make ricotta cheese. It takes about a good portion of the evening to make. To speed it up I keep the stainless steel lid held with one hand to keep the heat in & stir with the other hand with a long cheese curd knife (that’s not the proper name. Stiring time takes about 1.20 mins to reach 180 degree. I add the citric acid at this point although it’s recommended to do as the first step because it works better for me. With ultra pasteurized milk I always add 2tsp of Citric acid because I can’t get it to curd. Do all of this While sitting on a tall stool because it does take time to make any cheese. Have a very large Wolfgang puck stainless pot to catch the whey when completed. Took me a little over 2h. from start to finish ( clean up time)

Bought this as a gift for my dad for Christmas. He is very excited. We loved the recipes that were included and that there were so many options available for what to make.
