Perfect for cosleeping
I use this for cosleeping. It's the only rail I could find that sits on top of the mattress rather than flush with the edge which means there's no gap for my baby to fall into. It's very sturdy, I'm sure you're not supposed to lean on it but I often do without thinking and it doesn't budge. The only downside is that it eats a few inches into your mattress space but it's necessary for cosleeping.

So sturdy and durable & doesn't pose a trapping hazard like other bedrails
I really REALLY love this bedrail. We've been using this for the last 2 months. It's not tall, but it is super sturdy. It sits on top of the mattress, instead of abutting against the side, like most designs. It squeezes and locks down on the top of the mattress to keep it in place. This gives it extra stability, which is really needed for our rambunctious toddler who likes to roll and jump around on the bed and moves a lot in her sleep. I also especially like the top seating, because the other designs can trap a child between the mattress and the rail, posing a suffocation hazard. It does sit a few inches in from the side, which can make the sleeping space about 3" tighter. If they would make the height a couple more inches higher, I would love this even more.

SAFE and sturdy for co-sleeping
Excellent bed rail for co-sleeping, because instead of standing against the side of the mattress and leaving a potentially dangerous gap that baby might get wedged in, it secures onto the top of the mattress with the mesh panel several inches in. Very sturdy; we've ordered another for the other side of our king-size bed for the times when our toddler climbs into bed next to my husband. This has really given me peace of mind; I wish we'd known about it before! A very well designed product.

Perfect!!!
I love this!!!!! I purchased it because my grandson was going to be spending several nights with me. I used it on a day bed. It is simply perfect! It fit the thick mattress great and was secure. It does not cover the entire length of the mattress which was great! It left an opening at the end of the bed so my grandson could get in and out of bed easily and I had no fear of him falling out of bed! Thank you Amazon!

Secure and easy to install/remove, secure
I got this for cosleeping with my baby. Keeps her from falling off the bed, and because it ratchets down securely on top of the mattress, I'm not worried about entrapment. It's on the short side, so as my baby learns to roll better, I'm going to have to install a second one. An advantage of this version is that it's easy to remove for changing sheets, or if someone else is using the bed.

Works really well
Based on Amazon reviews, I ordered this bed rail for my active 2 YO. It was very easy to put together and went onto the mattress (he has a slat bed with drawers underneath so no foundation). In the past month or so, he's rolled full speed into the bed rail and still stayed on the bed. He's also climbed into the bed holding onto the bed rail without any problems. It looks a little low but it keeps him on the bed so I highly recommend this bed rail.

Really happy with this
Glad I went with this slightly more expensive model. The design is far superior and effective. I also have the other more clumsy traditional style. This one Doesn't leave a gap between the mattress and takes up far less bed than some reviews purport. I don’t push it in all the way but i can still clamp down well. We have an 8 inch memory foam mattress cal king on a zinus metal frame and one with traditional box spring. Using for cosleep and surely kid’s bed next. And this protects me from being pushed out of the bed too! Sleep well all!

Love it!
We have owned this now for almost a year and love it!! It works great. Easy to take on and off the bed, easy to adjust, easy to fold up and put away and (when tightened sufficiently) VERY sturdy/safe!! We tried MANY different bed rails before seeing a version of this on a trip to Disney World. The Disney hotel had these upon request and when we got home I immediately went searching for one. Have never regretted it and will never go back to a different style. So happy with it, that I decided to leave this review while ordering a second one to have on hand just in case.

I love this brand.
I got this for co-sleeping. My mattress is about 14 inches thick and this works. I don't share my queen bed with anyone but the baby so the loss of mattress real estate doesn't bother me. It was a bit difficult to get it on just right but it's very snug. I sleep better. I worry less. My baby sleeps a better. She's nursing less in the night in the short amount of time we've had it. I only wish I had gotten it sooner. Of all the ones I looked at, researched and considered, I'm so glad I went with this one.
