Malakai likes it and so does his mommy!
I used this crate for the first time today to take my kitty to the vet, and I'm super impressed! Firstly, several people at the vet's office complimented the carrier, including the vet herself. It's a decent size (my cat is 12.6 pounds and he fits okay, but any smaller would be too small) and I reallllly love how easy it is to assemble and disassemble. The design is really clever--it's like a little kitty house that can close into a crate. I also love that it's all plastic (the metal ones seem cold and uncomfortable to me). It's quick to open and close with its plastic lock, but it's still sturdy and made well. I'm really surprised I got this carrier for <$30. Overall, this is a great product with an innovative design, especially for the cost. I highly recommend!

Skeptical but so pleased!
Fist use to the vet and this was the best cat carrier I've ever had! 1) easy to assemble. It is one piece and very sturdy. Sides lock into place and door locks closed when you turn the flap down. 2) easy to open. Turn the flap and the side door opens with ease. 3) spacious. Okay, my cat is only 5.5 lbs. But she only took up 1/3 of the carrier. 4) nice size. I was able to put the back seat seatbelt around it not problem (Ford Focus hatch back. Not a large car). And it didn't bump into my legs when carrying it! 5) the cat(s) took to it well. It gave the one at the vet comfort to be contained while being easy to get her out. The other two have since gone in and out of it like a kitty house. 6) storage!!! It takes up NO SPACE and we will always find it under the bed! No more stress about where it might be in the basement I've had fabric ones and boxy ones and both were struggles for me (not hugely but enough that I wanted new ones) I highly recommend this!

Big, Sturdy and Stores well A++
The cat in the picture depicts a cat the size of a couple of mine, and I have big cats for some reason. One of my cats probably weighs about 20lbs and is bigger than my 18lb shih-tzu and he fits with room to turn around. I think it's a wonderful design so it doesn't take up valuable space. I wish I had seen this sooner. I was leary about it being big enough because the price was so good. Then if it is big enough, is it flimsy? I would buy more of these if I needed them. Never seen a hard crate that folds up so easy for storage and the soft sided ones are soooo expensive. Very happy!

Approved by Stella
This carrier goes together very easily & looks great. Within minutes, Stella (13 lbs.) decided to give it her stamp of approval! Her brother, Sparky even fits comfortably & he weighs 17lbs.

Best pet carrier I have ever had
Wonderful cat carrier. Easy to fold flat and store. I am a volunteer with a cat rescue group and have replaced most of my carriers with this type. The cats go in so easily as they are not afraid by the look. Light weight to carry as well. I can easily place 2 kittens in at one time or up to a 14 lb adult cat with no problem.

XL carrier and Regular size comparison
I initially purchased the smaller size brown carrier for our domestic cat and we love how easy it is to store and stylist design. The large front door makes it easier for loading and unloading cats at vet visits. Recently I needed a second carrier and decided to try the XL for our ragdoll. Great size for two cats or an small dog. Better quality side latches: you just push it in instead of pulling it down as in the small model. Attached are pictures of both models side by side and i hope it helps you decide which model is better for you.

Love this carrier!
Getting my cats into this and taking them out at the vet's is so much easier than even the top-open carriers! I put a little fleece bed in it and leave it out for them to sleep in (sprayed some catnip and feliway in it), they love it and it's easy to pick them up, place them in and shut the door. Taking them out at the vet is so much simpler, no dragging them out or lifting them up. It holds my big 15 lb cats just fine, they can sit in it comfortably. They don't have room to really stand up and walk around a bunch but that's good, it's easier to carry it if they're sitting/laying down and it's not as long as other carriers so it fits on my car's seats better. Plus I like that the top latches are secure and the handle is on the body of the carrier - two people in my neighborhood have lost their pets at the vet in the last six months, the carrier broke open on one of the cats as they were leaving the vet, neither has found their sick pets. :( This also folds up small and flat for storage, I've bought two and plan to buy another so I have one for each cat in case of evacuating for a hurricane or other emergency. Pics of two of my cats, black & white one is my senior cat, 12 lbs, orange one is my 16 lb chubby boy.

Great cat carrier
This carrier was a big hit at the vet. My cat is very skittish and hates the vet. I have used a soft sided carrier for years and thought it was best because it zipped open on top and both ends, however the last year or so it's been harder and harder to get my 9.5 lb kitty in and out of the soft carrier. This carrier solves that problem and makes it less stressful for all. I put a fleece bed and catnip toy inside and leave it out for my cat to explore or sleep in (but she never does lol). Very happy with this purchase. Update: my cat decided to take a nap in her carrier this evening >^.^<

STANDS UP OR FOLDS DOWN IN A FLASH!!! TWO PAWS UP!
This carrier came collapsed inside a box. I had it upright and put together in a flash -- without reading the directions! I am surprised at how roomy it is from front to back. And my cats can easily stand up in it. It says it will hold pets up to 25 pounds, and I believe it. My chubby girl was very comfortable in it. It has a lot of ventilation openings, which I like. I seriously don't know why some reviewers are saying it's not sturdy. I've had the rectangular plastic carriers and the latches kept breaking on me -- making the whole crate worthless. With this one, the latches are AT THE TOP with one giant latch on the door. I really doubt the latches will break since the pet's weight is not pulling against them. The hinges on the bottom are held together with metal rods. The "Quiet Time Pet Bed X-Small" fits perfectly in this carrier -- and it's WATERPROOF!
