No air bubble that you have to pop!
Bought this is an upgrade from an~10 year older model hamilton beach blender I accidentally shattered when I dropped it in the sink. First off, the container portion is wider and shorter than my older version which must assist in the blending bc I make our own butter, and I have not had to "pop" the air pocket that forms when the cream starts to whip. That was a VERY annoying occurrence with the old one. This one just continues to move the whipped cream till it turns to butter and I have less mess from the popped explosion to clean up when I'm done, which is nice also. Also fund the pour spout in the lid more convenient than I initially thought! Easy to clean, as expected. Have not used the separate chopper attachment but I was surprised to see it was plastic. Great upgrade, I'm guiltily happy to have added to the landfill with the old one just this once....

Works well for me! Love the wide-mouthed bottom!
I needed to purchase a new smoothie maker after my Bullet I've had for many years started leaking down through the motorized assembly and adjusting the gaskets didn't stop the leak. I came across this HB multi-function blender and purchased it specifically because it had a wide-mouthed bottom and lots of power. I always had problems with my fruit and protein powder getting stuck in the bottom of regular-sized blender jars and not mixing thoroughly. This one doesn't have that issue and works well for me, even with the largest chunks of fruit. Crushes ice cubes just fine, although I do as one reviewer suggests and I put a little liquid in first. The motor is not too loud and it has all the functions I need. I have several Hamilton Beach appliances and would recommend them any day!

Smoothie master
Every morning, I put greek yogurt, a cup of frozen berries, half a frozen banana, a cup of frozen kale, a spoon of chia seeds, couple spoons of ground flaxseed, a handful of raw almonds, and a couple cups of almond milk in my blender. It doesn't even stutter - just chops it all up into a smoothie I can drink through a straw. Has never given me any trouble or failed to blend perfectly smoothly. Love this thing... especially for the price. Edited to add: I've seen a lot of people complaining that it doesn't blend all the ingredients, gets stuck, requires stirring, etc. I've found that when this happens to me, it's usually because I didn't add enough liquid to compensate for the solid ingredients. I just pop the top and pour in a little more - water, milk, whatever - and it solves the problem right away. This isn't the blender's fault; it's operator error.

Amazing highly recommended Blender!
First I say this Hamilton Beach Blender is AMAZING!!!! I really like that you can use it as a blender or a food processor. We have already used both! The blender works well with its "wave action". I was able to make our morning smoothie and not have to stop and manually mix the frozen fruit around as I have had to do with other blenders. It mixed everything evenly and smoothly. A feature that I really like for the blender part is the lid. It fits snugly yet it's very easy to get on and off, and it has a pour spout!!!! So no more spills when pouring things from the blender to a cup. The food processor worked really well too. We made guacamole with it. It blended everything nicely. The lid twisted nicely into place so I didn't have to worry about it popping off and splattering my ingredients every where. I really look forward to using this blender more and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blender.

Great Blender for the Price
I have used four of these blenders. A couple of years ago, my blender broke so my daughter bought one of these for us to use. It worked so well that I purchased a second one for myself. My son wanted a blender for Christmas, so I purchased one of these for him also (the one with the chopper). Recently, I bought another one because, sadly, I broke the glass jar. I was washing it in the sink and it slipped out of my hands. I also have a Blend-Tec Designer 725. While I can't say that this blender has the same power, it will actually blend my smoothies. more easily than the Blend-Tec. The Blend-Tec will blend and pulverize something like kale, whereas this won't (there will be tiny bits of green), but this will blend with less liquid and less trouble (less having to stop and add more liquid, less having to stop and help it along with a spatula). I think this is a great blender for the price, especially since it has a glass jar, so if you need to blend soups or something else warm, this works well for that. It also works great for smoothies. This said, the first one we bought was loud, but not that loud. The others I've purchased since are definitely louder. I've never had a problem with the motor, though.

Great Blender
This blender was purchased to replace a Cuisinart that I bought at Costco that had all the bells and whistles and cost more than double. When it broke down after a few years worth of work (and that was my second), I decided that I would just get a good blender with nothing fancy. I got this and I love it. I use it to make pudding, puree split pea soup, and some drinks and it's really a good blender. It surprised me how much better it does the job than my Cuisinart! I love the pouring spout on top as sometimes it was messy pouring from the corner of my old one. I've owned this for a while now. I don't like reviews from folks that do it right out of the box. I like to use the product for a while to test it out. This one definitely passed.

NOW HOLIDAY QUICHES ARE ON THE AGENDA AND I WAS DELIGHTED TO FIND THIS STILL AVAILABLE AND THE PRICE ALSO ...
THIS IS THE THIRD BLENDER OF THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL THAT I HAVE PURCHASED AS I HAVE GIVEN THE OTHERS AWAY. FRIENDS SAW ME USING IT AND WENT CRAZY SO I GAVE THEM MINE. SENT DAUGHTER ONE LAST YEAR. NOW HOLIDAY QUICHES ARE ON THE AGENDA AND I WAS DELIGHTED TO FIND THIS STILL AVAILABLE AND THE PRICE ALSO STILL REASONABLE. THIS CAN DO ICE AND GRIND MEAT BUT REMEMBER...SECRET IS TO USE SMALL AMOUNTS AS IT IS 700 WATTS ,,,NEVER OVERFILL AND THIS WILL BE LONG TO SURVIVE IN YOUR KITCHEN. PACKED SO WELL I COULDN'T GET IT OUT OF THE BOX...MOSTLY BEING A SENIOR WAS THE PROBLEM. LOVE THE WIDE BOTTOMED GLASS BLENDER JAR. WILL REORDER AGAIN AS GIFTS.

A very welcomed upgrade
I purchased this blender to replace a plastic bowl Hamilton Beach blender I got about 5 years ago. I absolutely love this one for two reasons. The top is all one piece so I don't have to worry about the small filler cup getting damaged (like my previous one did). Being that the bowl is glass, I am not worried that the fruits, juices, and vegetables I'm blending will leave an after smell in the bowl (also like my previous one eventually did). The noise levels are about the same as my previous blender. The different blend options are the same as my previous blender except my previous had a turn dial whereas this one is push button. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Lengthy but good review
I don't normally take the time to write product reviews, but because I'm so impressed with this blender, I'm going to do it. First off let me just say I'm a every day mom. I've never been a barista, or used any fancy specialty blender of any sort. I can't compare this to something like that. What I can say is this blender is AMAZING!!! I bought it to start making my own blended coffees and smoothies at home. I specifically chose this one because of the additional chopping attachment because we have rather large ice cubes, and I thought I would need to use that first to grind them up a bit. I was wrong. This blender does exactly what a blender is supposed to do. It blends all of it's contents into a nice smooth consistency without leaving behind those big ice chunks I was worried about. A big A+ as far as I'm concerned because I absolutely hate trying to drink my blended coffee when there's huge chunks of ice that are constantly getting stuck in my straw. The other bonus is speed. In my opinion this blender is quick. (To mean this also gives it an extra bonus for noise because it's not running do long.) My coffees have been running right around 10 - 15 seconds from start to finish to blend. Some may say "whatever", but this is a big deal for me if I'm in a hurry. I don't want to be stopping at the coffee shops because it's $6.50 every time I do. If I can make my own at home super quick it costs me less than a dollar. Plus, at home I can customize it exactly how I want it. Long story short, BUY THIS BLENDER!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!! 😊😊

Works like a charm
Works like a charm! Have had this machine for about a year now and it still works great. It is not the most powerful blender out there but especially for the price point works great and gets the job done. The glass is a nice addition, sturdy and it feels like it keeps a little cleaner than plastic jars I have had on blenders before. This is definitely great if you are on a budget and want a sturdy machine that will last a while -- perfect for smoothies and any other sort of blending. (If you use a lot of ice be a little patient though and make sure you have sufficient liquid)
