• Long lasting, efficient ultra-bright white LEDs.
  • Adjustable LED lamp heads provides optimal center-to-center spacing.
  • Charge rate/power "ON" LED indicator light and push to test switch for mandated code compliance testing.
  • Internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery to LED lamp heads for minimum 90-minute emergency illumination.
  • Surface mount via quick-connect back plate; fits most standard size junction boxes and snaps into place to make internal electrical connections.
  • In order to avoid battery drainage, the battery included does not come connected within the unit when shipped. Please make sure to have the battery connected before testing

Easy to install, just two wires to connect. After charging the batteries I cut the power and it came on immediately. Bright enough to safely find my way around our large workroom but not enough to continue working or reading. A bit flimsy so you have to be very careful when adjusting the lamp positions but they stay put, no need to touch it after initial adjustment. I found replacement batteries on Amazon but they cost only 3 dollars less than a new unit. Hope it lasts at least 3 years.

The lights replaced the old style lights very easily. However one light failed in its operation and that is why I ordered a single light. I believe the problem is in the electronics as the light stayed lit until the battery exhausted. I wanted a working light prior to the Easter Service in our church so I just ordered a replacement rather than doing an exchange which could take some time. The charge for the light was nothing compared to the hassle we could get into by not having a working light. The new light exchanged placed easily. I am happy so far. Thanks for asking. Bruce

The LED Emergency light I received lights for more than 4 hours after a 24hr charge. There is a wire with white click end that must be moved to the battery for the light to operate. I purchased the light to use in the Philippines on 220v. Black, white and red wires are inside the light for connection to AC power. Use white and black for 110v or white and red for 220v, very simple wiring. Don't forget the wire to the battery.

Right Price, Does the job, just like expensive commercial brands. Im not a contractor or electrician, but following the instructions I installed without a problem. After getting great results from the first one, I bought another. These emergency lights comes with 3 cables on the back, with the option to install in a commercial place with 240 v or residential at 120 volts. Just isolate the cable you wont need and connect the other 2. I use one existing outlet to make my connection. You just need 2 cables, no ground connection required. Cannot go wrong with this one. The price is cheaper than most flashlights... Install it yourself and save $$$ ! I took some pictures before and after the install. To test it I just turned off the main breaker in my home, and voila! Works great, and it's really bright. After charging it for about 40 minutes, I turned the breaker off and the lights kept on after 4 hours. At that point I had to turn on my breaker again, so these emergency lights, after charged, probably will last for a good 8 hours without a problem. Hope that helps!

Very compact, I mean the prefect size. Very easy to install the manual way or your way, just use your installation creativity. Hardwire the lights is very very easy, they just use two cables not ground. I made a blind hole in the top and I located them almost touching the ceiling and barely can see the cable (see pictures). The lights comes with the battery plug disconnected, remember to plug it in to his connector before you close the light enclosure. They are very bright enough to walk in case of an outage from one place to another enough to see everything, don't expect them to be halogen lights that are going to light up all your living room, they do what they are made for, emergency lights not a lamp replacement. I installed one in my bedroom and another one in the living room. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this item. It is lightweight, installs easily, and provides decent light. It comes on when the power cuts out, and has worked consistently well. I cannot speak to how long it will run, however, because I tend to fire up the generator when power is out. As others have stated, you will need to connect the battery when you mount it. It ships with the battery disconnected. Sadly, the version of the instructions that I had DID NOT mention this, and, well, I clearly didn't look closely enough. Because the lights were out, and I couldn't see well. Yeah, I'll go with that.

I bought these for my restaurant. We have frequent power outages so I really need working emergency lights. My old emergency lights used a battery that was hard-wired and the batteries were no longer working. Replacement batteries were very expensive so it made much more sense to buy new lights. These work great and you can't beat the price. We have had three power outages since these were installed and they do a good job of illuminating a fairly large area.

Impressed with this or the cost. I only actually wanted the components (an LED RETROFIT FIT) to fit inside of the 20 year old emg lights with the big batteries that hum and drain a ton of electricity. I disassembled the lights from the unit, drilled out holes in the side of my old metal lighting box, drilled out a hole in the bottom of the old metal lighting box for access to the status light and test button and then stuffed the whole body inside. Because the wires are long enough, this method worked out great. Since I put the body into the old metal housing "backwards", if I take the old metal cover off, I have access to the connections and battery.

The LED lights require less power so the battery is much smaller than my last unit. Hopefully it will last longer too. I replaced an older unit. Installation difficulty is medium. If you are putting in as a new unit installation is rated as advanced. Electricity is involved, so you have to know what you're doing. This unit turns on every time the power goes out. I live in thunderstorm alley. So the power dips a lot.

This is a quality product. I am not an expert at these things, so I had to change my mind and move these lights around until I got them where I really wanted them. With these lights the quality of the plastic is good and I was able to do this without breaking the tabs. The battery is very good, the quality of light is very good, the price is very good. Save yourself from buying the appallingly over priced poorly made product on offer at your local home improvement store.
