One of the great buys of all time!!!

I am 73 years old, and love classic rock, but have been disappointed with Bluetooth speakers, as they have no bass or good sound. Then, lo and behold, Pyle makes this speaker which EXCEEDS all expectations. The sound of this speaker goes right through your body. You can feel the bass in your bones. If you like quality sound, with eye-opening bass and treble, this is the set_up for you. I am so satisfied with this speaker that I am saving to buy the passive speaker as so I have a GREAT stereo set-up. This Pyle speaker is a good as a Bose or other name-brand speakers and the price is way less. You will NOT be disappointed in this item. A MUST have!!

Unbelievable sound and quality for price!

Incredible sound and quality! Bought two, as replacements for my 1980s 12 inch 3 way floor speakers. Running a technical pro 500 watt amplifier and a Teac 20 band EQ, no distortion with high volume. Crisp, clear sounding professional DJ quality. Might get 2 stands so they don't sit on my basement floor. They are too good to sit on concrete! Lights are a bonus. They do not need to be plugged into the wall, must run off of speaker wire low voltage. Thanks Pyle for an outstanding product. Will have for 30 years!

Best Speaker Money well spent.

Money well F'n spent. This one speaker goes so loud i could imagine when i buy the second one lol. Great bass, which you can control on the device itself as well as the treble. Has the EQ setteings you can adjust. You can plug in a mic and guitar. Radio stations play clear. Lights play to the beat of the music. Connection via bluetooth play louder then using the Aux. (At least with my phone.) Also connects to my Laptop no problem. You will love this Speaker when you buy it.

Big Sound and a great PRICE

So ordering was fast and easy. Hooked up both a Active and a Passive speaker and the sound is kickin! I hold parties for kids and teens that we teach and this system puts out enough sound for us to have a tech jam party in 2200 sqft for 60 kids. Its great because it hooks right up to my phone or computer for my play lists. we also do other events so it also doubles as our PA system so when i pack the house with 100-130 people i can easily talk to all of them.

Purchased for outdoor parties in my yard or the basement...it was PERFECT! No problems syncing to my iphone 7Plus using blue tooth. The sound was great. From the front of the yard it sounded as if we had a DJ. Very simple to use, didn't bother with the instructions that were imprinted on the packaging. Will purchase the passive speaker to complete the set. Would definitely recommend for parties at your home or a small/medium banquet facility

WOW!!!!

The bass is great i dont know why ive read reviews that say otherwise, The bluetooth connects instantly once you pair it. It has an equalizer and you can use your phone equalizer for even more bass. My neighbors have never came to my house. But on this fourth of July day they did. Can you believe that what with all the fireworks going off they come and ask me if i cam turn the music down. This speaker will shake pictures off your walls. It is loud amd the bass is deep,i would recommend it to anyone who loves their music loud and with a heavy bass thump. It has other features but i play music from my phone on it AWESOME speakers from a well known trusted brand I had some Pyle speakers back in the 90s and they lasted til the 2000s. The base will blow you away. UPDATE:I bought the Passive Speaker and connected it to the Active Speaker(which has been kicking bass since last July). I thought the one speaker was over the top....NO WAY!!! You have to get the Passive speaker to complete this bad boy,I AM UTTERLY IMPRESSED GREAT QUALITY AND SOUND.

This speaker is very loud!! Used it for a party this past Saturday, and it worked very well with a laptop and microphones. Great BUY!

Wonderful speaker and great for fitness classes that dont have their own speaker system

This is an awesome speaker and so worth the money. The only thing I wish was that it had wheels on the bottom for easy transport. I am a fitness instructor and will have to haul this in and out of my classes. Its not terribly heavy though. Great sound that is adjustable. There is a guitar and mic hookup and controls. Bass and Treble sound controls. To connect to blue tooth you have to use the remote and press "mode" and keep pressing mode until the top says "blue" then find "Plye Speaker" on your iPod or device or you can plug in the adapter. There was no instructions on that and I wouldn't have know how to do that without reading other reviews. The lights on the speaker are as shown and looks great. This plugs into the wall and you have to press the on button on the back of the speaker. There is no mic included that is separate. There is no humming or buzzing sounds in the back ground. It works great for backyard parties and for Zumba classes. It is super loud. I use it for classes in a church fellowship hall that sits around 50 people. Even then I dont have it turned up all the way since it will be too loud.
