Very pretty

I gave this urn 5 stars, event tho I did find one problem: the neck is very narrow. I have ashes from one of my kitties which came is a fabric bag. I prefer to keep the ashes inside the bag inside the urn. I had to work a little, but I was able to get the bag with ashes through the narrow neck. I know this is not the usual way of keeping ashes, but.....did it anyway. Urn patter is delicate and very appropriate colors for my Norwegian Forest Cat.

Beautiful and well-made

This item is absolutely beautiful. It is a quality piece that keeps our now passed-on 15 year old dearly loved and sorely missed rescue girl. To me, the engraving is like an abstract of the universe and the glazing is very nicely done. We had a 3/4" X 2 1/4" brass plate etched with 3 lines of information and then attached it with a small-link brass chain around the neck of the 40 ci urn. It fits perfectly on the smooth area above the urn's engraving and looks like it came with the urn. The lid is a small-thread screw top and allows a very tight seal. Check the size you need before ordering. 1 lb of body weight = 1 cubic inch of ash after cremation.

Couldn't have asked for a better product!

Item received several days earlier than expected. Well packaged to ensure not damaged during shipping. This urn was much more sturdy and well built than I expected. Nicely spaced opening to insert ashes in without difficulty, even while encased in a plastic bag. My dog was just over 8 lbs. and was cremated with a piece of clothing of mine, as he preferred to sleep on something of mine or my husband's rather than in his bed. Plenty of extra room inside for hair clippings, collar, etc. if you desire to place them there. Instead, I hung my dog's collar around the neck of the urn and it sits nicely. I noticed no scratches or dents in my product, and I am a detail-oriented person. Very happy with this product. Looks like a piece of artwork rather than an urn. Only wish it was felt covered on the bottom to deter scratches to furniture or shelving.

AMAZING, classy and elegant to boot.

Very small opening, so be aware of that and be extremely gentle inserting your beloved pet's cremains. Otherwise, this is a solid, heavy, GORGEOUS urn of the highest quality you could wish for. I recently had to PTS my beloved cat Oreo, whom I have had since he was 6 weeks old and was 15 or 16 years old and roughly 12 lbs., when he developed cancer and had to leave this world and my loving arms. He sits in a place of dignity on my mantle and is the prettiest, most elegant thing in the room. Very classy, very good quality, very good price, Nice, tight screw on lid. You can't go wrong. I use this product to hold the ashes of my 18 year old, 11 lb, cat. It is beautiful and I love it! It makes me happy that during such a difficult time there was no stress involved with this purchase. Would recommend %100

Beautiful and high quality

I knew the moment I saw this item, I knew it was perfect. I instantly smiled, knowing that my Chihuahua would be memorialized in proper princess-like fashion that she so rightfully deserves. During such a traumatic time in my life, having to search for an urn is already gut wrenching. Byusing Amazon Prime, I not only received this urn the same day, but it came nicely packed -no scratches, dents or imperfections. While I'm unhappy with the circumstances and reasons FOR this purchase, I'm very, very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship.

Beautiful Urn for Cat

This is a beautiful urn. I wasn't satisfied with the urn I received from my vet's office and decided to see if I could find something else on Amazon.com. This is perfect for my beautiful black and orange Torti-girl that I lost after 15 wonderful years together. The urn is even prettier than the photo. She deserves resting in such a beautiful place. You won't regret buying it.

After my beloved Lola passed (10 lb. miniature dachshund) I saw this urn at the crematorium & loved it, but $70 was way too expensive. I found & purchased this one, in size small, through Amazon Warehouse Deals for $9.99. It said there were minor scratches. I can't find any, & it's absolutely beautiful. The bronze really gleams through the black engraved enamel. The bag of creremains fit perfectly inside, & there was still enough room to fit the bone she never got to finish. She was cremated in her favorite blanket, so I'm not sure if that added any volume, even so, the bag still fit. The lid screws on & off easily, but is still tight. I bought a silver medium size 1st through another seller for $36, but it didn't come close to the craftsmanship & beauty of this one. I tried to take photos to give any one looking, an idea of the size & the way it looks in different lighting.

Kudos for Amazon for not bugging me to rate this product

I lost my beloved Siamese cat Sushi a little over a week ago. She lived 21 years and 12 days and was well traveled between both coasts and even Alaska. She was nonflappable easily going through TSA too many times to count, well over 100. Can we say spoiled and well loved. It is hard to suddenly lose a pet and hard to decide what you want to do. (I have to smile at my use of suddenly since in human years she was over 100 but she just had good bloodwork) I ordered this urn in the midst of tremendous grief based solely on people saying it was even better than the picture. Thanks to Amazon Prime, it arrived the day after we got her remains. Through the tears there is an absolutely beautiful, handcrafted etched urn that brings me comfort because it suits her style. It is sitting elegantly by the fireplace where she used to roast her long legged skinny little Siamese butt. I highly recommend this urn for anyone that has a special furry human. This is a high quality product.

Perfect urn for a perfect pet

The product came double boxed and surrounded in sturdy bubble wrap so no damage done. The urn itself is a great heavy weight to it so it's not any cheap material, it seems to look like caste iron from the inside of it. The engraving looks hand-done like the description stated and it's truly beautiful in person. The gold carvings are shiny and catch the light, it's truly a beautiful piece. It has a screw on top so the ashes are secure and in place. Though they don't engrave the name of your pet, I don't mind this. I will probably purchase a small chain name-tag or just place a framed photo next to it. I had prime so it came quickly and for the unexpected loss of my pet cat, Tyson, that very crucial for my grieving to have an urn to match how important he was to me. He was 11lbs and it was ample amount of space left in the urn so i would not worry on the size. It fits well in the hand and not too large, very subtle if kept in the living room. I saw this same urn on a different website for close to 70, the one here is 35 and looks expensive. I will be proud to display this urn out.
