Stylish!!!! Birthday gift for a teen

I just put this together and it looks awesome! It took me about an hour and a half to put this together by myself. The instructions are a bit over whelming at first since it is only a few pictures with numbers and arrows everywhere, but wasn't too difficult once I started. I got this for my stepdaughters 14th Birthday and I think she will adore it!

WOW! AMAZING TABLE for FABULOUS PRICE!

I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about this work station!! It is STURDY and highly functional for ANY project that you would want to do. The lift-top slants easily into position with just one hand and slides back flat with no effort. The "disappearing edge" for holding a canvas in place is GENIUS! And YES - it DOES come with the stool. (comfortable and perfect height for the table) My husband and I put it together in @ 45 minutes with no problems. The screws/bolts are well-labeled and there is even an Allen wrench that comes with the set. (to put it together) Even though it is not on casters - It is easy to move around the room by sliding it. If you do ANY kind of art project - you will WANT THIS ART CENTER.

Overall a great design for an economical "drafting" table for a young person. My daughter already loves it. She mentioned appreciating being able to easily raise or lower the pencil holder, depending on her project type (sometimes you want to rest your arms; sometimes it's better to have it up to keep things from slipping). Very pleased with this purchase after minor hiccups. When mounting the legs to the seat, the bolts wouldn't start threading. With a cake tester I was able to remove thin circular scraps from the holes, then had no trouble. A few pieces arrived bent, but were easily adjusted with a small hammer against an iron rail. Loved the hardware packaging with clear, fool-proof labeling. Simple to assemble, Allen wrench provided fit all but 2 screws.

This is a great desk I am very pleased with this product, it doesn't take up too much space and is very portable. Thank you so much for such a great product. I am currently taking art classes and it really provides the necessities to the needs I have. It's really worth it's price, not flimsy or made to be a temporarily used item. Strong and sturdy a good buy I must say that I'm very pleased.

Perfect for my artsy needs!

I love to draw so I decided to go on the search for good and reasonably priced drawing desks. I stumbled upon this one and decided to roll the dice of luck, and I couldn't have been more satisfied! The adjustable inclinations of the desk is really fine tuned to a professional degree. It doesn't feel like a cheap knock-off. It's sturdy and holds all my work just fine. I wanted to put this desk in one small corner of my room, so I decided to not build the storage component of the table to save space, and thankfully it fit like a glove. The stool it brings is a nice added bonus but honestly, I like my back-support so I just swap it out for my computer chair whenever I go to use it. All-in-all I give this two big thumbs up and recommend this product to anyone looking for a drawing desk! It definitely serves it purpose well!

Perfect for my budding artist!

This table was purchased for my 7 year old daughter who is always ALWAYS doing some kind of art project. I wanted to give her a place to do her work besides the floors and the kitchen table. This table is actually perfect for her and fits wonderfully in her room. It was no trouble for me to assemble by myself. The drawers are a really nice touch and we put some storage containers on the foot rest panel. I think it's cool that the table tilts forward for different needs! She absolutely loves it!

Good buy

Easy to assemble for something that comes in pieces and I am used to putting things together. The little drawars are very durable, and the stool is very strong im about 170 and can stand on it alot to reach for things. As far as using the leaning table, adjustment would be ok for preteen or teen to do, but bought for young daughter and she cant do it. Spacious. Boxes are sturdy and hold heavy items while still pulling out very easily

Exceeded my Expectations, Fiance Loves It

Great product. This was a gift for my artistic fiance. I was worried since other reviewers complained of flimsyness, but I found the desk to be very sturdy when put together correctly. This was purchased for an adult, and works very well for both artistic and desk work. Both the desk and the pencil catch are movable to lay the desk flat comfortably. The desk edges are smooth, and the finish looks great. Doesn't feel cheap, as I expected particle board material, but it actually feels very smooth and hardy. It is also very good looking. For the price, I cannot recommend this product enough. Shipping was fast, and free for me as a Prime member. I used a drill instead of an allen wrench to put this together, and it holds very well without shaking. I would strongly advise using proper tools to assemble any piece of furniture if possible.

The desk is good quality and beautiful

The desk is good quality and beautiful. HOWEVER, one of the floor levelers (or, a foot) would not screw into any of the holes. I left several messages over several days and received NO return calls. Finally, I called the number with extension 141, which I found on their website, and was able to get through; the part should be here in 5-7 days via USPS:) Don't call the office or product support line without the extension or you will have to leave a message or continue over and over on hold.
