Good quality suit

This is a very nice bee suit. I’m new to bee keeping and have used this for 2 months now without any issues at all. I am 5’10” 200lbs wear a 34x32 jean and large shirt. The suit is baggy on me but it will easily allow me to wear full clothes under which is good in colder temperatures. I haven’t been stung through the suit at all. I was happy to see that it has elastic bands to loop onto your thumbs to keep the sleeves down under gloves nicely. All of the zippers are good quality and zip smoothly. Has a Velcro flap that covers the zippers to close off any small holes.

protection from hornets

I have four acres and planted 200 fir trees in the spring. Watering them this hot summer became problematic due to the multitude of hornets around. After several stings I found this bee-keepers suit and ordered it. Have worn it twice.The hornets did attack both days. Two even walked on the face mask. No stings! I have worn thick clothing underneath the suit, gaiters and leather gloves. I realize my use of the suit is not typical, but I am very very pleased.

Great Suit!

Great coverage, order a size larger than you usually wear. Don't want it tight or you'll get stung. Wear a hardhat helmet underneath to keep the screen off your face. Easy in and out. Zippers on the legs to help get your shoes or boot through without taking them off.

Great Outfit !

I love this item... I used it the other day and I have carpenter bees and I was not bitten or stung rather and I can tell you first handed that are the worst. It fit me great and I had lots of room as I am 5’7” and a big back.

Hot as hell but does the job

The overall coverage is excellent, and the hood allows great viability and protection. Donning and doffing is easy by yourself, with oversized zipper pulls and Velcro straps that cover zipper ends. Only problem is, I was sweating bullets in it. I don;t know if there is anything you can do about that, considering that it's supposed to be protective and I was using it in the summer, but if i had to complain about something, that is it. Situational, so I can;t allow it to reduce it's score.

Awesome suit.

Buy one size larger than you expect. Aside from that this is an EXCELLENT suit. Anyone saying "you get what you pay for" is a troll. I have two of these suits and have never been bit through either of them. Mosquitoes can't even buy you through the suit. Awesome awesome value for the price do not look anywhere else in my opinion.

A good choice for a beginner beekeeper

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He started keeping bees and had been using a mosquitos netting and dish gloves. I felt it was time to get him a suit! This suit gave him the protection he neeed but also allowed him to discover what he did and didn't like before spending big money on a more professional top of the line suit that runs upwards to $170-$250. At this price point of about $40 it worked great. He is 6' so the large was a bit like highwaters so I would say an extra large may have been better fit. But this fits me (im 5'6) perfectly with enough room all around to be a good back up suit. It washes well and didn't come apart. Although I didn't wash the veil out of fear the netting might rip in the washer.

High quality suit for a great price

I actually bought this as a Halloween costume for my husband. We do have a couple friends who do beekeeping and so we have a little bit of background knowledge. After seeing the high quality of this suit, we would definitely recommend it to them! The fit is a little bit larger than the measurements listed, but the XL still worked great for my husband who is 6'3. The material is a high quality cotton, and it is easy to clean. The hood zips easily on and off. I don't think you could find a better suit for the price!

Very good suit, high quality materials and design

Excellent suit for the price. Does not rest on my head -- the screened hood has a support structure that keeps it framed away from the face. Material is thick enough to prevent any stings and the elastic bands on the sleeves prevent any bees going in. I tested this by getting attacked by thousands of bees at once and I didn't get stung at all. Note: this is not for super tall people! I'm 5'10 and it fits perfectly but the XL size would make you think it works for really tall people.
