Good for compact storage, and use for one or two people.
I have had pressure cookers for over 40 years. I'm a believer in using them to save time and energy. This tiny pressure cooker works just fine, and I intend to use it in my RV where space is at a premium. It makes just the right amount of food for one or two people. One of the best features is that it cooks with the smallest amount of heat I can imagine, and it's made in India where that feature might be essential. The one feature I don't like is the sudden pressure release noise it makes, which is startling.

Recomendable for quick and delicious food texture.
Thanks for this amazing item , I got the same thing from an Illinois Walmart and they send the little Cooker pressure broken . This is disrespectful to a costumer . Thanks for the huge reputation and consideration to the costumer. I can’t be more happy my tiny cooker pressure . This item is valuable for small meal and easy to clean up . The texture of the food is amazing 😉

Nice and small
Bought this for my elderly father (92 and going strong). He loves to cook using a pressure cooker. This pressure cooker is just the right size for him and my mom. Nice and small, yet functions like a any large pressure cooker, he absolutely loves it.

Indispensable For Everyday Use In The Kitchen
Heavy and Sturdy overall well constructed. Safe to Use - Easy to clean. I read the instruction booklet carefully - Bear in mind: This is the smallest pressure cooker manufactured/available to date - Do Not fill contents beyond 1/2 to 2/3 full. I bring to temperature on high with the lid off - and then seal closed /put the lid on - and reduce/lower the heat. I have used this small pressure cooker to make various decoctions for tea (ginseng, Astragalus, licorice etc . . .) and savory or sweet sauce reductions - very delicious results! I managed to attach the weight on the lid so it would operate safely - it was a bit of a jiggle and a twist then Voila - Magic! Following these instructions - So far No Sputtering, Leaking or Eruptions - Operates perfectly. I feel safe using any Pressure Cooker as long as I am vigilante and remain in the kitchen to keep an eye on the pot while the heat is on and then remove from heat after it is done and I have turned off the temperature beneath the pot. Strong tea in 5 minutes - which would have ordinarily have simmered for at least an hour for the same concentration/strength. I must try rice and other side dishes - I will order additional units - I highly recommend this purchase. Thank-you Vinod - Thank-you Amazon for making such a great product available.

Love it love it love it
Paired up with a Tomshoo Stainless steel camping stove = a match for the camping all-star! I removed the handle and made a wire bale to make it packable in my bike pannier bag for camping. It is the PERFECT FIT to nest the Tomshoo camping Stainless steel stove inside! NOT ONLY THIS but the AWESOMENESS lies in this: the regulator NEVER STEAMS OFF because the distance from the flame is PERFECT, provided you maintain the jets at a resonable reburn rate. I found that supplying two to three twigs/splinters every minute or two keeps the 1.5L PCooker at a low hiss. Dry beans cooked to PERFECTION in 10 minutes at 7,00 ft MSL STD. Want beans and rice? How about add them in after cooking the beans and give it another 10 minutes, and Violla! you got a meal, or add in some meat and spices when you add your rice and you are set. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about this little POWER HOUSE! What a GEM!! Get this JEWEL, it is super light and cleans up nice, you will not be disapointed. BTW all that charring from the wood comes off with Dawn Ultra and a Scotch Bright. Good steel. Thank you, Vinod for such an AWESOME peice of kit!

Way better than Hawkins
I like small pressure cookers because I'm single and because I want something small to take camping, etc. I had stopped using my aluminum Hawkins because of concerns about the possible health effects of aluminum cookware. The Vinod is a good replacement and I like the design a lot better. The Vinod does not require you to push the lid down into the cooker to open it. This is important in a small cooker because it lets you use the full capacity. The handle is a bit shorter, making it easier to store. The gasket is heavier and will probably last longer. I use it mostly for beans, rice, and potatoes. Perfect!

It's so cute! and perfect for side dishes for two or three people.
I've been using pressure cookers for decades and this tiny one is just perfect for one or two or three people. It comes up to pressure much faster than my 4 qt Kuhn Rikon. Steamed kale! 2 minutes with quick release. Mashed potatoes for two or three, it's just the right size. It is a jiggle-top rather than the more modern spring loaded one, so it may take a bit of practice if you're used to spring loaded pressure cookers. The sandwich base is very thick and spreads the heat easily. The walls and lid are a bit thinner than I'm used to from the high-end brands, but it's working great and holding up well. Also the high-end brands don't even MAKE small pressure cookers. And if they did, they would cost more like $100 than $35. For vegetables, dals, potatoes, and so on for a small family this is just right. Highly recommended.
