Have used Webroot Secure Anywhere for more than a year and haven’t had a virus or other problem since using it. Very fast scans and real-time protection. The clean-up utilities seem to work well. Using on two home computers.

Most other security software tend to get in the way and slow down te computer, or to take forever to get their updates, or to want constant inputs from the user. Webroot does its job effectively and fast. Any, by the way, it also works with WinXP as well.

After prompt 2-day delivery, I installed this software on the first of 3 devices, a laptop. Install from the CD was very fast. One question came up during the install - an error box about a missing file on my computer that might keep the program from running - but the install then continued. Concerned about that warning, I contacted their customer support line, and was connected with a minimal wait time. Their rep was helpful, polite and spoke U. S. English :-) He was able to quickly resolve my concerns. The Webroot website has several very helpful video tutorials to help newcomers to the program get up and running. I'm currently uploading some files to their free backup cloud storage for my account. Wouldn't use that for sensitive data such as banking info, but a great option for files that represent a lot of work and would be very time-consuming to replace. So far, I'm delighted with the program.

Installed this program today. The installation was easy. I am impressed with the security that the program offers. Significantly easier and faster than other programs I have used. So far, I am very, very pleased with the installation. I found this program while scanning Amazon's website. Initially, I was reluctant to try it. Frankly, I never knew that this program existed. I would definitely recommend it.

My 2017 renewal was up. After comparing prices for the renewal and purchasing a CD from Amazon, I found that I would save quite a lot by simply ordering a new CD or download. I liked the comfort of having the CD as backup in case anything happens, so I ordered the CD. Since this is Prime eligible, it only took two days to arrive. The set up was a breeze. I entered the key code provided by the CD (printed inside the CD case, appeared sort of like a bar code). Just make sure be patient to wait for the activation process to complete and make sure to enter the correct number or alphabets, sometimes an "8" looks like a "B" etc. The system would do the rescan after the activation process completed, and it would show me how many days left for the software to expire (365 days). If you don't see any of these happened, that means you have done something incorrect, just do it again step by step.

Webroot beats the tar out of Norton ......when it is installed, it doesn't bother you with all kinds of pop ups and after a year it has always blocked dangers to my system. I had Norton on one of my CPU's and picked up a ransome virus which literally destroyed my system..it embedded right in the Norton Internet Security and froze it and also got into my Mozilla browser; they won't uninstall, won't work and demanded I send a check for $ 300.00 for them to release my system......don't hold your breath !.....I am now using that CPU just for local storage of data because NOTHING I tried will remove it ...but my point is Norton did nothing to protect me....so I switched to Webroot and this one will re-subscribe me when the time comes to do so and so far this has protected my 4 computers pretty well...recommended firewall by me.....and BTW I get most of my stuff from Amazon...fast, safe and efficient delivery and if they don't have what you need, it doesn't exist.

This operates seamlessly in the background. Non-intrusive. The absolute best customer service for anti-virus I've ever experienced. This was a renewal, so CD took me to internet to renew. Very fast and easy. Program includes permanent erase, which is a nice feature, and also works friendly with other anti-virus installed. Unlike some anti-virus programs that operate in the cloud, this one allows you to scan your files or computer without having to be connected to the Internet, even though overall the anti-virus works from the cloud. I don't know who created this program (so many are from other countries), but I like that it's based in Colorado instead of a foreign nation.

Super value - Webroot wanted $49 to "renew" my service. I let it expire, bought this version, deleted the old one, and voila - - works perfectly. What Webroot doesn't want you to know is that this program is automatically updated VIA the cloud, hence you always have the latest version. Shopping around does pay, and Amazon once again comes through. (Same thing happened last year; Webroot wanted $39 to renew, bought it here for $19.) Many software security programs (i.e. Iolo System Mechanic) allow you to renew at a nominal fee - - like $14.95, but for some reason Webroot wants to take you to the cleaners! Must be a lot of commissioned salespeople in that company . . . .!

I've been using Webrrot Complete for several years and I like it but re-registration can be a pain in the butt. When I want to renew for another year I buy another copy from Amazon, but I don't uninstall and re-install it. I just use the keycode to upgrade the licence for another year. I do the update on all my computers, tablets and smartphones. As long as you keep your subscription current, Webroot keeps it's software up to date too. You don't need to uninstall and reinstall, unless the software won't allow you to enter the new keycode. That happened to me 2 years ago on my mobil devices only. Also, doing renewals this way will add any leftover days of your old subscription to the new 365 day renewal. I hope this helps all of you.

I've read lots of reviews and opinions regarding the need for anti-malware/virus software for MacBook Pro. Some products for Mac slow down the system or impede the functioning of some programs. Webroot is an American Company and the service technician helped me get it up and running. I have a new computer . . . going to very reputable sites and still Webroot found infected files in just the two short weeks I've owned this laptop. I'm very pleased. It's easy to use (for those of us who know little about computers) and I hope to re-up it after the first year. Highly recommend for MacBook Pro and other Mac users.
