This hook may be a little bit more money than your standard wall hook, but it's worth it! I wanted to get the best of the best and this is the one I chose. It's perfect for my wall! My violin is my baby, and I wanted to hang him on a sturdy, nice looking hook that also holds the bow. This hook does the job! The wood on it doesn't make it stick out like the plastic ones do. The color of it is nice too. It holds my violin so well and it's super sturdy on the wall with the big screws that came with it. The bow hangs nicely in front of it, where they don't touch at all. I would definitely recommend this hook for anyone that wants a perfect hang for their violin. It looks great on my wall on display.

I have a fairly expensive violin hanging from it and I've had no problems with it. Having the violin hanging on the wall in a place where I can see it gets me to practice more often than I would otherwise.

Perfect Violin/Viola Hanger

I bought two of these hangers - one for my violin and one for my viola. They work great. I mounted both to a stud in the wall, as irrational as it may be, because I won't trust a dry wall/sheet rock anchor with my instruments. Also, I use a thick rubber band on the end of the hanger so that if there's an earthquake (I live in California), the instruments won't drop out of the hanger. The rubber bands that come with broccoli work great. Yes, broccoli rubber bands.

Great for my violin

This is awesome! I love that I can hang my violin up with the shoulder rest still on it, and with the bow hanger there, I can literally just pull it off the wall and play immediately whenever I want to! It's been great not to have to lug out the case and put the rest on and all that every time I want to do something with it. This also looks really nice on the wall and was easy to hang.

Love it, but maybe not for rowdy households

Great setup. I bought one for my violin and one for my guitar- makes for nice "wall art." Could be dangerous if you have rowdy kids/pets.

This is a very nice product! I bought three different versions (guitar, ukulele, and violin) all in the walnut color. It is nice that you can have matching mounts for all of your instruments so it looks nice on the wall. They mounted nicely to the wall, and even came with the plastic drywall hangars for instances where you are not able to mount the hangar directly on a stud. I am very pleased with this product, and would definitely purchase again!

Violin Wall Hanger, Good One!

I found no shortfalls of this product, nodda one! It is very well made and I found it very solid for its use (Violin Version, Wall Mount). When installed correctly in a wall's sheet rock, it will easily support the heaviest of Violins, and a Bow with ease! I have not installed it yet in a wood stud within a wall. Guys and Gals, for just supporting a violin and a bow, I surely feel finding a wood stud for added strength, is NOT necessary at all. This is a very nice, very secure mount for a Violin, and a Bow. The mounting screws, sheet rock screws anchor, and method of mount is simple and very secure. JUST REMEMBER if you are going to wall mount it on sheet rock only, to pre drill pilot holes for the sheet rock screw anchor, doing the extra step is assurance, it will be a clean proper install, and will look good! Love having my Fiddle out!

This neat little tool transformed my fiddle into beautiful wall art as well as giving me quick access to my instrument. It holds the bow and sets the scroll of the fiddle out far enough from the wall that you aren't hitting the pegs when you hang it up. I find I'm playing a lot more since it's visible to me and not packed away in a case. I also like having it up on the wall so that I save floor space and also protect it from my children's curious little hands and my own clumsy feet that might damage an instrument on a floor stand.

I'm very happy with this violin wall mount. I bought this item because it wasn't the typical black or light stain, and I was tired of seeing the bulky violin stand holder sitting on my mantle or baby grand. The stain color is a close match to my violin and goes well with my color scheme. It's well made, in the USA, not bulky, with a minimalist appearance. The only thing that would make it better is if matching buttons were included to cover the screw holes.
