good starter guitar
I purchased this for my niece who is learning to play. She already plays violin. The guitar itself is a very nice starter for anyone who wants to learn classical. The case is well made and will serve well for years. The accessories are nice. Be advised that the case is not fitted to the guitar. For me that is not a major thing.

size is good and string action is fine
Our son likes this very much. He plays often now. The size is good and the string action is fine. The sound is okay, but it is a beginner guitar. The auto tuner is a nice touch.

Nice little guitar and accesories
The pretty little guitar arrived in perfect shape, no issues. I was able to quickly tune it up and start playing, which is just what I wanted! I got the 3/4 size and it is great for my smaller (5'2") frame. It came with all the accessories noted and the gig bag was made for a 3/4 size guitar and fit perfectly. Oh and there are instructional video included with Prime, so I'm watching one of those.

I like it for the size and price
I have just recently picked up a guitar again and restarted as a beginner. I was hesitant because other reviewers who purchased this guitar for young children. However, I did see a couple of adults buying it for themselves and decided to chance it. I'm glad I did. With the smaller size, exactly what I looked for, I can practice from the comfort of my recliner without repositioning myself upright. It has a decent tone quality, enough to play for fun and to figure out songs. It is a good beginner's guitar, not one I would play seriously for family or friends at a party or in public. The size sold me.

Pricier but you get a lot more quality
Compared against a cheaper $33 Amazon 1/2 size guitar. The Yamaha is plain gorgeous with near perfect finishing, while the no name brand had obvious cosmetic paint defects. Tuning knobs feel much more substantial and the strings are neatly looped thru the end of the guitar (the cheapie guitar had strings knotted out the end and wrapper to the side. Unfortunately I am not good enough to tell audio quality, but i am happy to pay more for such an obvious quality difference. I got the warranty from squaretrade

... the last year and 1/2 or so and have loved every moment with it
Been playing this guitar everyday for the last year and 1/2 or so and have loved every moment with it. Survived many a hike and has taken on a warm tone. Really love this guitar and its pure utility. I don't have much to compare it to, but the intonation is great and the strings have died back into a really warm sound. It has been dropped and had all manner of crayons and food shoved into by my kids. It also helped me survive my way through a cattail marsh. I hope our fellow people making these guitars in Indonesia are getting payed a fair wage. I love this guitar.

A GREAT deal for the price.
I have two daughters, ages 12 and 17. They both have smallish hands. They're both interested in playing the guitar as Daddy does. This 3/4 size guitar has a nice tone, action that's easy on the fingers, a nice appearance, and the little extras that are thrown into the deal are just right. I highly recommend this for any musician who has curious children, as I do.

Great buy for a 7 y/o
Bought for my 7 year old at the recommendation of his teacher. Perfect size and great sound. Worth the price especially as my son could tell this was a real instrument and not a toy and wanted to practice immediately

Hubby bought it for me
I have always wanted to play. Now I am learning. I used to play a woodwind and like any new instrument, you have to gain strength in whatever you use to play it. My fingers and hands are stressing but its a good stress. Great guitar, beautiful. Highly recommend a strong stand. No pick came with this one, so be aware. I do not care because I wanna use my fingers, not a pick.
