If you're looking for a bracket that will allow you to mount more items than the single shoe on your camera will permit, this is the bracket you want. Don't buy the flimsy v-shaped brackets that make your camera top heavy and unstable. Get this one instead. It is very solidly built and mounts to the tripod mounting screw hole at the bottom of your camera. It's C-shaped configuration can be mounted on either side of your camera. That's great if you have a fold out LED display on one side -- you can use this mount without it interfering with the screen. The vertical portion of the bracket has a rubberized handle grip which helps you manage the extra weight and enhances stability. Comes with two cold shoe mounts, high quality that tighten with thumbscrews. There an additional hole to add a third cold shoe, or to reposition the supplied shoes to accommodate bulky equipment. The one drawback is that two of these positions are angled. I attach a shotgun mike and/or my wireless mike receiver to these, and a 350 LED light panel on top. It all works perfectly. I like the functionality of this bracket and recommend it.

I like the way its made. its heavy duty. i love all the mounts that it has its very versatile. im very happy with the camera bracket. "update" i just bought another one for my other camera rig. i love this bracket.

Id doesn't seem like much, but with the next closest thing in price being a plastic U-Grip, and with cages being 50-125$, this is a great option for people on a budget who want to add more to their rig without weighing down the cameras hot shoe. This is even cheaper than a lot of triple cold shoe mounts. It feels very solid even with heavier gear on it. Thing to consider: the L bracket is compact, which is nice, but if you have it out to the left side so you can work the shutter, there is not enough room for a fully articulating screen to open completely on the right side. this may make selfie or shooting vlogs with the camera in hand difficult. Of course you can flip it to the right side if desired.

Pros: Inexpensive but well made. No sharp edges like some others. The cold shoe mounts tighten securely and rotate 360 degrees allowing for off-axis positioning of accessories like an external flash or LED. Lightweight and compact yet feels durable. Cons: None really. If I had to pick something, with a camera mounted there isn't much space between it and the top mount but enough for an external mic. Measures 6" from the base to the top screw. But if your're buying this you're probably using the cold shoes for lighting anyway. Overall very pleased and would buy again.

I use my iPhone to film YouTube videos and I need a mount with multiple shoe mounts for my light my mic and For my ghetto rigged my emf detector setup. This L bracket can hold them all like a champ. Real happy with this purchase esp the price. I have this bracket connected to my gorilla pod too, which is why I bought this one because it has the 1/4 inch separate screw hole in bottom to do just that.

This bracket is great. I am using it with a really heavy two 970 battery powered LED light on an extension and it is holding firm. I added a second light of the same size and the camera was too heavy for my application but this bracket held up to that abuse. I did have to bend the angle a bit with a crescent wrench so the top was level. The top plate was about 5 degrees off making the light lean a bit. After the small adjustment I am very happy with it. Each of the dove tail cold shoe adapters are standard quarter inch mount screws so I attached my light that way with an adapter Spigot Stud and a Umbrella Softbox Flash Bracket Adapter that has a 180 degree adjustment hinge so I can angle the light. So much better than the others I have tried. I am really pleased with the build on this and am thinking of getting 3 more for the other cameras we use on shoots.

I looked all over to figure out how to add a light and mic to my camcorder (no hotshoe on the top of it) and this seems to fit perfectly. It is sturdy and affordable...and has the adjustments needed. The THIRD mount doesn't seem to be quite as useful since i was hoping to mount a cell phone there to get two cameras, but I have a CLAMP that attaches to the tripod for that, so all seems to be going and this was definitely the cheapest way to accomplish it.

You will need to buy an (LimoStudio Hot Shoe Flash to Bracket / Stand Mount Adapter Trigger with 1/4" Female Thread, AGG1624) since it comes with two. It is also mounting a Nikon D7100. The Seller delivered this product sooner than stated. Very happy with the sellers performance..

Starting out with a video recording kit, I got a Smooth Q from Zhiyun and wanted something to add a Rode mic and improve audio quality. The Smooth Q has a few other accessories that would do this, but I was looking for something a bit less more portable for semi-pro use. After a bit of research this was just what I was looking for. Threads right onto the bottom of the Smooth Q for a good fit, the side grip gives you added stability while shooting video, and the cold shoe mount takes the Video Micro perfectly in 2 different configurations. Sturdy and easy to use. An excellent value for any camera persons kit.
