Eleven Weeks ago I had double knee replacement surgery 9 weeks apart. Very discipline about doing my physical therapy exercises at home as well as with my Physical Therapist at his clinic. However, certain muscles have become rather tight, and he recommended that I purchase this muscle roller to have at home. It is the same one he uses at his clinic with patients. It is terrific and I am loosening up those tight muscles which is helping my recuperation.

I love this thing. The day after a really tough cycling ride I just spend 15-30 minutes slowly rolling it over my calves, hams and quads. I have to say I get such a feeling of euphoria from it, like the endorphin release I get from rolling out the tired muscles is incredible. I get some pretty gnarly trigger points in my calves and I can spend a lot of time there slowly and gradually working them out and I can't even tell you what a relief that is. It's that "hurts so good" type of feeling and sometimes there is lingering soreness like after a really good therapeutic massage but by the next day I feel like I've got a new set of legs. My best suggestion if you are considering using this is to take it nice and slow. The effect is best when you really take your time and don't apply too much pressure right off. You have to warm up the muscle first before really grinding out the deeper knots and trigger points. Sometimes I'll just grab and knead the muscle group first for a little while to get it warm and moving and then go in for the kill with this stick.

I have been using a foam roller, and since I had my baby my body is so weak. I have no upper body or core strength anymore, and it's really hard to use the foam roller on my quads, IT band, or hamstring. Now that I've started working out and running again, this roller stick has saved me so much pain because I can still roll my legs. My husband is thankful too, because trying to use a foam roller on someone else is really difficult!

Love it! After a car accident and having my chiropractor use a therapy stick on my neck for physical therapy I decided to buy my own. Works great on any sore muscles I have. Neck, back, quads, hamstrings, arches of my feet and even for abdominal massages. Even tried it on our black lab as a joke and now every time I pick it up he follows me around the house waiting for his turn!

Great product. Purchased on recommendation of my physical therapist to work on knots in my ITB. Absolutely works. Just bought another for a friend for Christmas. Also, seller provides PDF about trigger points and how to use the roller.

My IT band was tight and causing pain when I sit. I took this muscle roller to a PT appointment so the therapist could show me how to use it most effectively. He actually preferred the Supremus stick over the rollers in use at the rehab center. Now I have use it every day and my comfort level is greatly improved.

I wish that I knew that this existed years ago. I can't believe that this product has been around and that I have never heard about it. It is wonderful at breaking up muscle knots in your body. I purchased it to help relieve my calf muscles but then started using it for my neck and back. Don't hesitate to buy this. You won't be disappointed.

I have had a very sore inflamed IT band in my right leg. Tried stretching, heat/ice, etc. No relief. The first time I used this roller I was pain free. No kidding! I forget about using the roller because it takes away my pain, so my pain returns. I find these little lumps in my superficial muscle that I work on. It really helps. You can vary the pressure and time you use it to roll. It looks like not much but this roller gave me pain relief for the first time in two years. I highly recommend this roller. I am a physician and I am not getting paid to endorse this product.

My physical therapist used The Stick on my tight muscles. I had hip surgery and my muscles have required a lot of soft tissue work. The stick was perfect for working on those tight areas. I felt so much relief after treatment that I had to have my own. I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from everyday muscle aches.

My chiropractor recommended I get one of these and thankfully it showed up the day before my first half marathon. I was able to immediately begin to roll out my amazingly sore calves right after the race and wake up the next day able to still move. Compact enough to toss in my gym bag, but big enough to hit the major muscles - I think this thing will be my new best recovery friend.
