First of all, this mount is bigger and sturdier than I expected, great! I recently bought a Striker 4 fishfinder for my Outcast pontoon and needed to mount the FF and the transducer.. I had an old Scotty rod holder base that wasn't in use so that's why I bought this. I sacrificed a cutting board from the kitchen (approx 3/8" thick) to create a slightly bigger platform, and mounted the FF on top, and a piece of aluminum bar stock on the bottom. The bar stock (1/8" thick) extends a bit past the outside of the pontoon, then bends 90 degree down towards the water. The transducer is mounted on another piece of aluminum bar stock that simply bolts to the first piece, so it's easily removable. I thought about using PVC tubing for the transducer mount, but that has a lot more drag than the edge of the bar stock. It's had its maiden voyage, and it worked better than I had hoped. As a battery, I'm using the 12v li-ion power supply to a HarborFreight battery jump starter. It's 12 Ah, has no minimal power draw, weighs next to nothing, and keeps the FF going forever. So I'm pretty happy with this Scotty mount, as it's the perfect platform for what I needed to build...

I used this along with their transducer arm to mount my Garmin fish finder to my canoe. Works great!

I bought this product so I could attach it to my Garmin Striker 4 Transducer with GPS. I had to use different screw than what came with the Garmin to attach them to this mount but once I had the right size screws, it works perfectly. Now I can attach my Garmin to my Scotty rod holder without worrying.

Was a perfect fit for my Garmin Striker plus 4cv as others stated. It’s very sturdy and seems it could work for other fish finders with the multiple holes on the base. Could use it many ways with some imagination. Screw a plastic tray on and you have storage for a kayak that items will not fall off of.

Not much to say about this product, it works like it is supposed to work. Lots of different holes to help mount alot of different fish finders! Fits in the mount well and seems to be well constructed!

I purchased this to mount my Garmin striker plus 4 on my kayak. It's a perfect fit but you will need to find hardware to mount the finder baseplate to the Scotty mount. Overall I am happy with the quality.

Bought this to mount my garmin fish finder to the Scotty triple mount on my kayak. Perfect fit, don't think it will ever break or degrade. Has multiple mounting hole arrangements for all kinds of fish finders

Used in conjunction with the transducer mounting arm. Predrilled for fitting a multitude of fish finder units of different brand. Locks in place in the Scotty Gear Head

I mounted Lowrance HDS 9 Carbon on this mount, although I did put a wider base on top to mount the bracket from the Carbon. Leaving a little play in my cables, I can now easily move my fish finder to multiple locations where I have extra bases mounted. Bought those cheap at Cabelas

Works great. Mounted my fish finder on it and I can’t be happier. I can now remove my fish finder with ease and put it in a safe place
