I was dismayed to see this did not have installation instructions. I managed to do it without them and it works great! This is a nice product and I installed it on my NEW HOME sewing machine. I can use it with any stitch and works great!

Easy to attach! Has been put through some really tough and thick projects and has performed perfectly for at least a month now! Love it! I have ended up using it for several projects that don’t call for it- just because it keeps the fabric moving so well, and makes it so easy to make straight lines of you just let it go to work on its own. I have also discovered that it is handy for seam-gauging by adjusting the needle slightly, then following the inner side of the innermost claw for 1/8-inch seam and the outer edge of the claw for 1/4-inch seam- so has essentially become my 1/4-inch foot!

After purchasing the wrong foot for my machine twice, I finally emailed Singer, and got a rapid response. Ordered the correct foot, and am very pleased with it. I can't imagine how I got along within one for this long. If you don't have one, and work with knits, fleece or minky, get one.

I began making wallets out of super high grade deerskin and couldn't understand why my sewing machine was stretching the leather so badly. I tried adjusting all the tension settings to no avail. I thought something was wrong with my machine. I did some research and people recommended a 'walking foot'. Well, I found this one and tried it out. Fit perfectly, went on easily and WOW! Perfect results. My machine can't handle super thick leather but can definitely sew pockets together. VERY happy. This has expanded the use of my machine for only a little money. And now I can be sure that the two pieces of material will move together, ensuring that seams meet up so much better than before I learned about this nifty tool.

This is an absolute essential for sewing stretch fabrics, but I use it on all types of fabric and it works like a dream. Wouldn't be without one.

I'm a first time sewer and quilter and this installed so easily and quickly on my Singer Simple. Within seconds of installation I was stitching in the ditch on my quilt sandwich (do I sound like a real quilter yet?) and before I knew it, my project was finished. I can't wait to start my next project now that I know how easy it is to install and remove. Worth every penny.

I bought this foot for my Singer Simple 3232, after sewing a quilt with the original foot that came with the machine. As you can imagine, using the original foot did not yield a very smooth and even quilt. The top fabric pulled and did not stay even with the batting and backing, so the top was a little misshapen when I finished. After doing a little research, I found out that most quilters use a walking foot. I set out to start my next quilt, with my brand new walking foot and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The installation of this foot was very easy (I looked up video instructions via a quick internet search). Using this new walking foot makes quilting a joy and I no longer have to stress about the fabric pulling the entire time. If you're going to be sewing projects that require multiple pieces of fabric to be sandwiched together (such as blankets, purses, scarves), I would definitely recommend this walking foot, if it fits your machine. I wasn't sure if this would fit my machine, so I searched the Customer Questions & Answers section to find out.

Recently pulled out wife's old Singer Simple 2263 for stitching pant leg hem on kid's new school uniform pants. With the regular presser foot, the hem always ended with a slight crease from the inner fabric being pull ever so slightly more than the top on every stitch. I'm certain perfect pant leg hem can be sewn with the regular presser foot by someone with more talent, but fore me, a quick swap of the presser foot with this even feed one solved all issues with the feed and the hem comes out perfect every time. The foot swap on the Singer 2263 is trivial. Obvious but worth mentioning is that the foot has no mechanical way of knowing when the machine is stitching in reverse, it always feeds the same direction, this isn't a negative just a way these things work.

This is the one to get. Don't buy the other cheap ones you see online. I got two and one in place could not even be lifted off the feed dogs. And with the other the little hook arm didn't reach the needle rod. The is for Singers with short shafts. This Singer walking foot works great and goes evenly over thick material like a quilt sandwich with thick batting. Delivery wa super quick even to Italy!

This foot is well worth the money. Helps when sewing the 3 layers of a quilt. No bunching of fabric, moves the bottom and tops together. Recommend for any quilting job. Easy to attach and use
