This stuff is great!!! if you are stretching or planning on stretching don't do it without this!! Point blank it will make your ear stretching go so much more smoothly, before I found this I was using whatever I could find to make it glide through easier, Vaseline or lotion, just whatever I didn't think it really mattered, boy was I wrong!! Honestly when I use this the tapers slide through like a hot knife through butter, it's painless, before this I could feel every bit of my ear stretching, I would not ever stretch my ears without this balm again and I have recommended it to a lot of friends and they have all liked it well, I'm on my last little bit I need to reorder soon. I have attached a picture and put my house key next to the product for size comparison. It's not a big jar by any means but a little goes a LONG WAY!!!

This stuff is amazing. I've had gauged piercings since the 90's. After a recent surgery I forgot to put them back in right away and the holes shrank/healed enough that my jewelry no longer fit. I'd never tried any special stretching products but when I ordered tapers to re-stretch, this popped up and I figured I'd try it out based on the great reviews. They were SO right. No more sore, red lobes. No more pain from putting in jewelry. No more funky ear smell! I wish I had this balm for the last 20 years. A little goes a long way, but whenever I do finally run out, I'll be re-ordering to keep my piercings healed, happy, and most incredibly, stink free!

I'm not an expert on ear stretching, I bought these for my very first stretch... I just read that balm was recommended & I saw these right away on Amazon. BUT they have not disappointed at all. I thought one container might not be enough but its like a never-ending black hole of cream, I should be good for a while. After a few stretches I haven't had any pain, not even slightly, or any sort of other bad side effects that one may run into with stretching. It also makes my tunnels & tapers go in very easily. Worth the price

I don't do reviews often. But this stuff is amazing! I just started to gauge my ears and it was ruff to start cleaning hurt taking them in and out to get everything off. But with this they go in like butter, keep my ears from drying out. I LOVE it. It is a small little container and at first was like "well I bought a mini thing of bag balm" until I tried it. It last, you only need to use a little and it doesn't make your fingers greasy. For newbies like me or people that have been doing this for a long time. Get it!

Okay so the reason it lasts so long is because you don’t have to scoop it out like lotion, just rub your fingers on the surface and it’ll leave a layer of it on your fingers so kinda like an oil but it’s not oily to the point where it’s gross. so it saves you a lot of product and when I tell you it Helps slide in the gauges in smoothly; you will obviously feel the pressure but it won’t feel as bad as if you stretch with no product or with petroleum jelly. Definitely worth the money and it came a day early!! Which made me even more happy than I already was for the product!!

I cannot say enough good things about this product!!! I had previously stretched my ears when I was younger, at which time I used the tape (not taper) method with plenty of emu oil to lube up my ear holes before insertion. With Gauge Gear, I have been able to painlessly slide in the tapers and then the jewelry in a matter of seconds. Even though it comes in a tiny container, you barely need any each time you size up. The entire container could easily last from 18g-00g or larger.

If you stretch your lobes, this stuff is a must have. When I started stretching, I had nothing but problems with my "bad ear"--swelling, pain, recurring infections.....blah. I could NOT get rid of the infection. Additionally, I had tiny piercing bumps on the backs of both ears. This, coupled with tea tree oil, not only removes the infection and keeps the lobes safe, it also removes the bumps. And a total bonus that I wasn't expecting.....when you go to stretch to a bigger size, this makes the stretch painless and MUCH easier. Can't recommend enough.

In the past 6 months, I've stretched my septum up from 2g to 1g only using the balm for the initial stretch, and then again for 1g to 0g with more application afterwards. In both cases, the taper and plug slid right in with no problem, but as for the second stretch, continuing to put balm on around the piercing once a day for the first week made it heal noticeably faster. It does have a very particular smell, though (partner thought it was weird, I didn't mind).

Honestly best thing ever . Easy to apply and easy to use . My gauges slipped in with ease and barely any pain (besides the obvious stinging pain you get )

I LOVE THIS STUFF! !!!! I can't say it enough, this stuff is amazing. After I ripped my ears stretching before I had a hard time when I tried to start stretching again. I put this on my ears and the tapers and they slide right in. I do put it on my lobes each day when I clean them, just to keep the elasticity. Highly recommended for anyone stretching.
